Great video. Big thumbs up! I have been up over 5,000 feet in my PPG, but never into the clouds like this. Looks so peaceful. In my part of the world, I do have to worry about planes and regulations (FAR 103). Although, I hope one day to be able to fly in the clouds like this. I can just imagine the feeling of flying right through the cloud, letting it whisk over your face.Thanks for sharing.

am curious to why some would dislke this video..i want this so much.
As a Pilot (airplane) Not sure of the altitude but when I'm even above 5,000 MSL I have oxygen, mainly its if I have to climb to 6-7000+. The regulations say you needed above 12,500 but I certainly have had issues well below that altitude, I just checked my pulse ox every now and again and make sure I don't feel hypoxic. Always good to have O2

Flying in clouds.. yeah but I haven't tried paragliding before. Is it safe to fly into cloud or something? Lightning and strong wind current, damn my palm's sweating.
How is the ride up there? Like is it a pretty smooth or do the clouds create a lot of turbulence?

Is this compliant with VFR? I'm just curious, it is not allowed to fly so close to clouds where I live.
Some people (pilots ) are concern about another aircraft , but it all depends where you fly. Some places , (in india, and may be where he fly ) if you sit on the ground and wait 10 years, you wont see an air craft under 2000 feet altitude.
From the couple of shots we can see the ground I would say he's between 5000 and 7000 (MSL)

+bastard I'm a pilot the average altitude I fly my Cessna 172 at is about 4500, but any unpressurized aircraft is usually between 2-9000 (way higher with a q certified oxygen system.)
+bastard™ I was flying that low today. There are more airplanes in the sky than just airliners. I was up in a Cessna 172 with no altitude restrictions. Its called Class E airspace. Don't talk about something that you have no idea about.

TheLiasas the clouds come as low as to the ground in my village which is 2000 meters above on mountain.

+sciencesucks123 Imagine you driving on the highway in the middle of the night. A really dense fog surround you and you see absolutely nothing. The only thing keeping you on the road is the GPS. Anyway you continue at the same speed because you say to yourself that it has probably no other idiot on the road in the middle of the night with so poor visibility.
Crossing clouds is prohibited even for airplane on VFR for good reasons. The risk of death is there. No joke. You can't close your eyes and say i'm probably OK.
That said, he's safe over the clouds as well as under but when crossing them he must be aware that he takes a big risk.

Well there is a reason fully instrumented (and instrument capable) aircraft declare an emergency if they enter clouds unplanned, mainly because they can't protect themselves from collision. Unlikely sure, but it has happened. And it's extra stupid when it does happen because it could have been easily prevented by adhering to rules that are there for exactly such a reason.
In small doses you mitigate your risk, and this is a neat video. But don't kid yourself that this isn't risky behavior.
All depends where you fly. If I fly in the UK ,i wont fly like this , but If I fly in Indaia , Im not worried to fly like this.cos I never ever seen a plane under 5000 feet where I normally fly.
