Charleston should've known how this would go, but he's a mama's boy so he's caught in the mother worship trap that so many blk men are trapped in. These women continue to have these children recklessly in these environments knowing what they are bringing them into and are never held accountable. He should've known dealing with them on any level would be problematic. We've heard the "mother's pain" story a million times. He's not introducing anything new with that. Instead of promoting their "pain" and trying to get people to feel sorry for them he should've been asking them to hold themselves accountable and acknowledge where they went wrong so the next generation of young women can learn from their mistakes and stop having children in these poverty stricken situations full of violence and crime. Find a husband, plan for a family, save your money, get in a better situation, THEN have children, and raise them in a structured environment. Now THAT would be something new. That would bring about real change.
