SORCS Rattler HS First Lap +55

2024-02-25 Sparta, GA - Another perfect day in the woods in my role bringing up the rear of the class. Today, many of us learned about the loss of a fellow racer, Steve Strickland, in the +60 Class. SORCS dedicated the race as a memorial to him with his family attendance. Steve w/ his impressive two-stroke Honda CR500 will be greatly missed.

impressive to see yall riding hair scambles at that age i feel its one of the harder types of motocross moto and supercoss are more about memory and keeping a rhythm this is all about being able to handle that bike in everytype of terrain at all times

Looks like you have a pretty good clip going. “Rear of the class”? Were you in a A, B or C?

Thanks for checking out. Yeah I was a mid pack 50B at best, but +55 and older are just a single class. 1st & 2nd in my class were 1st & 2nd overall for the morning race, both former AA riders. As long as I don't get lapped, I'm super happy with it all.
