dude, honestly benders blows my mind every time i come across footage of him playing (still haven't been lucky enough to see him play live IRL), like how a guy manages to punch such tasty and consistent tunes out of that monster rig is beyond me! Sure, the rigs impressive, but without some serious skill to pilot that thing then it's as good as an empty table, this is exactly where benders skills outdoes any type of "wow that rig" amazement. Vote 1 artist, vote 2 that crazy modular rig!

He clearly has a good understanding of music theory, harmonies, rhythms and structures, and how to combine them into something beautiful. He also has experience with a variety of other musical genres and instruments, and singing/vocals too.
the build up to the 47 min jam is ridiculous. Like how did you end up there in such an epic trance! Simple bass line keeping it on the level and then levitation on top. Synth freakout here!
I am a huge fan of Vince Clarke, Jean-Michel-Jarre, Orbital and other big names because I share the same love of the modular synth. I only discovered this guy because of Covid and searching CZcams for some old tunes from when I was a teenager in the 80's. Thank god we have HD sound now and we can enjoy fidelity that we did not have in the 80's
Next level, that sounds like the sweetest thing in Colin's ears I am sure of it, I knew a guy like him before, and I hated him for the chaos he created every fucking single day, while we where trying to build an actual building. And that needed a lot of planning structure and discipline, we could not be more opposite of each other, and that drained all the energy out of me, and his project fell apart as well when the police closed his scatted area. This dude combines those two sides it seems, in a good way he is a unifier of those extremes, and gave me peace with that period. He did not buy it. He build it by adding module by module over a period of 10 years and that way learning the ins and outs of every module one by one. He is a genius but still so incredibly humble and down to earth. Not like most of the famous dj's that autosync the songs and are more with their hands in the air than on the equipment :D
