Dutch pour combined with a balloon dip! Balloon smash with amazing bloom results - abstract art #63

- In this video I’m combining a Dutch pour with a balloon dip. It’s my first ever balloon dip and I’m thrilled with the results!
For this pour, I've used Liquitex basics acrylic paints and Brustro acrylics mixed with just water. I have kept the consistency a bit thicker than my Dutch pours. Only in the base white, I’ve added floetrol, 2 parts paint, 1 part floetrol thinned with some water to get to the same consistency.

Do remember to keep it slightly thicker!
Colors- Titanium white (liquitex) as base. Top colors are deep violet (liquitex), cadmium yellow deep hue (liquitex), fluorescent pink (liquitex), mid green (Brustro) & pthalo green (Brustro)

Fantastic painting! You could also press the paint that the balloon pulls off, onto another smaller canvas. Depending on how many times you do this, and how many colors get pulled in, it could look like an awesome collection of flowers. That way you're not losing as much of the paint when you wipe the balloon off.

This is awe-inspiring. I love it !!
I watched another video where the artist had another canvase ready to imprint the balloon onto after dipping into the puddle on the canvases. It worked out beautifully. Now she has two paintings that kinda emulate each other !! You could also touch the balloon onto a plastic surface and make skins to ues any where.
Touching it twice without cleaning the balloon is perfect too. I absolutely love it !!!!😊

Watching this was wonderful; the process of just experimenting and the playfulness was good fun. I want to express that the large amount of negative space you allowed is unlike many paint pouring/fluid art I have seen watching on youtube. The negative space offered such a unique twist. I enjoyed seeing the piece come to life. I kept talking back to you to use the balloon again for another print. The last print done with the balloon was just magical. I will try it. Have never done balloon art before. Excited to use that technique.
