Those headbands are spa ones. It supposed to keep the hair out of your face while you apply makeup, washing your face or wearing a face mask. It's not meant to be worn outside or a fashion trend. I love them.

I used the Sani-sticks…tub and sink stopped up. Guess what husband found after he snaked them? You guessed correctly…sani-sticks, undissolved. Do NOT buy sani-sticks!!!!

A better option are the bleach tablets that Dollar tree sells now. They come in a little tube. I just plop one in the sink and let it slowly dissolve as I use the water.

The DT foldable razers is great for your purse, multi use. Ever be sitting in your car in shorts or skirt and look down and see all the missed shave leg hairs on your upper thigh you missed? Works like a dream. 🎉

LOVE your videos! I've been using the Maybelline Vinyl Ink lipstick for a while and I LOVE it! A few things I've learned from using it over time. Let it dry for a good 15 minutes or so before eating or drinking. After that, you're good to go. Stays on great without feeling dry. It gives a bit of shine, which is hard to find in long-lasting/Colorstay type lipsticks. I rarely have to reapply, even after eating. It may cost more, but it lasts longer because you don't have to keep reapplying. Also, shake the container before each use. I read it on the back of the package. Enjoy!

The 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner is perfect to take camping. Easier to transport, lighter weight in your pack, and easier to use. We also take it on beach trips. Great to use in an outdoor shower before heading home from a beach day.
It might pack in luggage better too! Good idea on the camping.
Do you carry a zipper sandwich bag to put the WET bar of soap home in? Or what do you do with the WET bar of soap???
@@ttt-pq9zs I have a DT reusable soap container. The bar goes in that before a trip so we have minimal trash to manage. I just secure the container with a couple of rubber bands for sturdiness. So far so good!
@@ttt-pq9zsu don't need a plastic bag. You can bring it in a sealable Tupperware or reusable small takeout container, like the shallow circular ones.
I tried the DT one and I couldn't rinse my hair enough for it to feel like it was out of my hair. It dried out my scalp and left my hair dull.
I use the 2 in 1 shampoo bar ftom DT for traveling. I dont check bags and have to reduce my liquids. Then i pack those deep conditioning hair mask single use packs.
Was just wondering about using this for exactly that.👍

Hey Vivian... I'm just tapping in on the shampoo bar. I'm not sure if it helps the planet but it definitely cleans your hair and it smells amazing. For me, the conditioning wasn't there, I still love it and I would recommend, just add your fav leave in conditioner after.

Less waste with the bar. My daughter loves it because the conditioner is light and is great for her slightly oily hair. It helps keep it smooth but not greasy. ❤
Trader Joe’s make a tea tree and peppermint shampoo bar. It’s great for people with psoriasis and fine hair. My hair is short and it works well. Doesn’t lather up a lot.,,but rinses out completely. Doesn’t build up on the hair.

My daughter and I have been using a bar soap shampoo and a separate conditioner bar for our hair for a yr and they work amazing! WE LOVE THEM!
There is less Chemicals in the bars.
My daughters hair is down to her but and mine is to my shoulder blades so our hair is long.
Only person ive seen that puts sample out and actually shows consistency, ect. Thats what we need to see. Love it!!!!
Seriously, five minutes stirring sugar into coconut oil is just as good as anything they sell, add some vanilla extract and it even smells good.

I use regular "feminine" razors that are sold for legs, etc. You can rinse and reuse them. Much cheaper than even Dollar Tree. In the morning, after I wash my face and before I rinse, I use the razor on my cheeks, etc. The soap acts like shaving lotion that men use. Been doing it for years so that my makeup will go on smoother. It also acts as an exfoliator.

The DT tree hut dupe is actually pretty good… if u like your exfoliator with more grit, u will absolutely love it! And it doesn’t take as much.

Do you think you could compare the price per ounce for future videos? Because the sugar scrub dupes seems like a huge price difference ($7.99 to $1.25) but when you think about it, you need to purchase 3 dupes to get the same amount of product. It’s still a better deal to go with the dupe but realistically you are only saving $4.25 rather than $6.75 because of the price per ounce.

The scrubs are meant to be used and rinsed away PRE shaving. Shave with something else. Sugar is less drying. But of you can handle it salt has a mild disinfecting property that will assist if you go a little overboard and micro scratch your skin....and also for feet. Also you can make your own scrubs. Sugar or salt or baking soda. Make a paste with body wash, cream, lotion, or body oil or even olive or coconut oil and scent with eo. Make per use!

Hi! You are awesome and I love watching you. For the Maybelline lip vinyl- if you layer it on in one layer and let it set/dry…it should not transfer. It just needs to dry. Also, don’t rub your lips together when you apply it. It comes out really beautiful!

Definitely turn off the water when you use a sugar or salt scrub. After you exfoliate, then, rinse it away. Thank you for the thorough reviews!

Love your videos Vivian! I actually bought the coconut scented Hemp seed oil lotion at Dollar Tree (it was all they had left). I actually really like it! It works really good at moisturizing! The scent isn't really that offensive since the scent goes away after rubbing it in. Thanks for doing the hard work for us and saving us tons of money :)
I was actually going to Dollar tree today… I do have those headbands, I need a haircut and they keep my bangs out of my face. I don’t find them uncomfortable for short periods of time but they do press in on the side of my temples if I wear them too long.

I watch but I don’t follow cosmetic trends. Since Covid March 2020 we work from home. I don’t wear makeup anymore. Went natural gray. Don’t heat style my hair. Haven’t bought dress shoes or clothes. Sneakers and jeans only. I did want that headband though 😂😂
I always end up buying something from the hair section when I go to Dollar Tree. I don't like that style of headband, but I have others in a lot of different colors. They recently got some new styles of clips which are awesome. I have pretty long, thick hair and they work great. The price is wonderful compared to other stores. Hope you feel better soon sweetie!!
The VYNAL ink is a gem!!!! It truly stays on until you remove it. You have to let it dry for 5 minutes then it's ON!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I bought the pink version of the headband just to see what the hype was. I, too, thought they looked stupid. I put it on to do my nightly face routine and instantly understood! It looks so cute! I bought a black one last week. I'll never wear them outside of my house, but I love them! 😂

I use the brand name garbage disposal cleaner and swear by it!!! 🎉🎉🎉 It's some sort of paper that dissolves. 😊 It doesn't look like the DT paper was dissolving😮😢
I love solid shampoo/conditioner. You can get combined and separate. Each brand is different. It lasts way way longer than regular shampoo. And there is no plastic to throw away. Shampoo is just soap with lots of water added. When you buy the bar , you are getting 100 percent soap product, and not a bunch of water in it. I have tried 3 brands so far over the last few years. Haven’t tried more because it just lasts so long. The best conditioner I used had a mix of avocado oil in the shampoo bar. I will never go back to watered down soap in plastic containers ever. The bar lathers much much better too. If you are worried about conditioning, then buy a separate conditioner but the bar soap works great! And wow have I saved money!

Vivian, I've been using the Kitsch brand shampoo and conditioner bars for over a year. They don't have all the chemicals that are in the traditional shampoos. They feel and work great! You must wash twice... Second time lathers up better once you've washed off the grime. ❤❤❤ love them!

We used shampoo and conditioner bars on a trip last year. We used separate ones for each. It's crazy how much lather you get. I have a LOT of hair that frizzes and these were great!

I LOVE THE HEART SHAMPOO BAR. Dollar tree felt like crap, name brand still has our hearts. It works for all of our hair types and I just use a conditioner bar after I have a fav. But the heart soap is more like a gentle deep clean shamooo. I swear by it esp for my children.

The 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner is great for travel, since the TSA has had it's limited liquids policy. Also for camping trips, easy to pack and nothing to leak. So, for limited use I think it would be fine. Some places also make a separate conditioning bar.
DT used to have a shampoo bar in a tin. I love it for travel but I always condition no matter what the bottle says cause I have long thick wavy hair. It's a must.
