Amazing review! I love Lune Feline. That cardamom & vanilla combination is exquisite. But the perfume that turn me into vanilla lover was Ama from Neadea😍, a little niche brand from Italy, randomly discovered thanks to Fragrantica. It’s still my ever favourite vanilla. Oh, and most recently Contessa from Moresque, spicy with pink pepper, star anise and nutmeg. 😊

Lovely choice, Josephine! I love to wear Eau Duelle and Acqua di Parma's Vaniglia, and now I finally have check out Angelique Noir. By the way, did you already test Le Labo's new vanilla scent? It's part of their city exklusives. Unfortunately I missed checking it out as they had them all available in their local store...

Such a beautiful descriptions and again no names of mentioned perfumes in infobox ... Even if something impresses me so much that I want to buy it, I can hardly write it correctly to find in the store. I don't know French and it's almost impossible for me to write for example "Guerlain Angelique Noire" without mistakes... It was so convenient when you did all that job for us!
The names are in the video. They pop up and stay on screen the whole time she's describing the fragrance 🙄

@@jusderose I see the names in the video on the screen but if I want to find them in the store I have to check each letter from the screen by myself. Neither English nor French are my native languages, so mistakes are inevitable. It was easier for me to copy the full name from the infobox. You know what I mean? It just was a good option for foreigners.
It would be easier if you write the names in the info box.
I’m curious as to why you can’t hit pause on the video and write it down. That’s what I do whether the name is in the info box or not. This comment is so weird to me that I had to read it like five times in a row to understand it! Whenever I watch a perfume video I almost always have a pen and notebook in hand. I completely understand if she didn’t write the names. Sometimes it’s impossible to understand the French names and even harder when the speaker has an accent that is neither French or English, but when names are written on the screen it’s pretty simple.

I saw that you've recommened Angelique Noir for quiet some time in videos or comments. I wanted to buy a 10ml decent of it but it's so so so pricey. Around 7 USD per ml... I will try to find it in store to smell it. 🤩
Vanille insensee is a lovely light vanilla. Similar to eau duelle minus the juniper.
Hello 😃 and thank you so much!!! 🙌 This is what we need during the fall season 🍁🍂 a vanilla cloud of comfort and warmth 😉 I have to get a sniff of the beauties you have presented 🙄 😂 I am huge fan lof quite complex vanilla scent which is Balmain Extatic Intense Gold, a limited edition dated 2014, 2015 maybe? 🤔 Wonderfully sweet, feminine, smoky and soft. Notes listed: heliotrope, jasmine, ambergris, labdanum, vanilla. Very well blended. The Vanilla is most prominent in a drydown. So not-too-sweet, velvety, elegant type of vanilla 😍 PS for the natural vanilla lovers I can recommend italian “Vaniglia “ by Acca Cappa.

Dear Josephine, I think I might oppose to you. I have recently tested JHAG Vanilla Vibes, with a fear, though (because I hate the Not A Perfume). I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. I want a big, chunky, full bottle of it 😁❤️ I feel this perfume gives rather "Elegance" vibes and I find it appropriate to wear whatever the season. Yes, it is summer-ish, but that saltiness gives it balance and sophisticated touch. I feel very comfortable and lady-ish wearing it.

The most beautiful complex vanilla is Noir Angelique. The most beautiful simple vanilla (only vanilla and a little musk) is Tihota by Indult. Superb!
Great recommendations! My favorite vanillas are Micallef Note Vanillee, Initio Side Effect (boozy vanillas are my weakness) and Dior Vanilla Diorama. I really want to try Lune Feline. Also, this is my first time on your channel and I'm noticing how good your French is... I'm guessing you are French?

Of course, Guerlain makes some of the best vanilla. I've really enjoyed Angelique noire lately. But Shalimar and its flankers, especially Shalimar cologne, have my heart ❤
Sylvaine Delacourte has also really great fragrances. Vangelis and Virgile are my favourites from the vanilla line. 😍
I have Guimauve de Noël too and also Flavia vanilla, which is a really nice vanilla. A bit more candy-like, but I find it a bit mysterious and attractive. 🥰

I haven’t tried it but all I can recommend is try to get hold of a sample it’s gorgeous!

I prefer darker vanilla fragrances. Two I enjoy are Nishane Ani and Mancera Aoud Vanille. Can't believe it but the Nirvana Bourbon, from the Olsen twins of all people, intrigues me.

I always say EJ's nirvana burboun is like the daughter version of LV's Nomade ombre 😊 maybe because my dad wears that LV and i wear EJ but EJ's do have kind of similarity but way less intence , masculine 😀

Bois doré is magic... and yes I prefer it very much so! It’s smooth, creamy and well like vanilla icing on a backdrop of refined woods 😊

I need to get a decant of Angelique Noir, I have been wanting to smell that one for a long time. I don't always love guerlain vanilla. I love the vanilla in Shalimar, but I didn't care for the vanilla in Spiriteuse double vanille or Mon Guerlain. I got a full bottle of Vangelis! Really beautiful and not a typical vanilla. I absolutely love Lune Feline it is gorgeous, but I just haven't been able to justify spending that much! One vanilla-centric perfume I really recommend trying is Lubin Kismet. It's not a vanilla perfume like some of the ones you mentioned, it's more balsamic but the vanilla in the dry down is absolutely delicious and my #1 fall and winter perfume.

Very different. Bois doré is vanilla ice cream / frosting. The other two are more syrupy
I've got a couple of Guerlain fragrances and I for a while I thought I wasn't a fan of the house, but I love wearing them and they're probably the fragrances I wear the most! I'll have to try Angelique Noir!

I just received my Bois Dorè last night and I am wearing it today! ( Bought after your recommendation ;) ) It instantly reminded me of Jo Malone Myrr & Tonka and Dior Feve Delicieuse ( but less medicinal than the Dior ). Another one of my favorite vanilla is Henry Rose : Torn. It’s a boozy vanilla with vanilla and vetiver notes. I always get so many compliments when I wear that one!

Yo won’t find Angelique noir on discounters. You just have to splash out or great way to buy it is at airports duty free( heathrow ) but now with pandemic I am guessing no one is travelling much...

I found a very good deal on Bois Doré after watching your video and got it. It's indeed a very good one.
But my ultimate vanilla is Vangelis. The fragrance expert in the store I went to showed me this after telling him my favorite vanilla thus far was Armani Privé Bleu Turquoise. As soon as I sniffed it, my eyes rolled to the back of my head. My friend told me I should buy it as my face/eyes were beaming with happiness.
This was the scent I was looking for when I dove into the world of fragrances. Spicy creamy paradise. The blast of black pepper at the opening is just so magnificent.
Vanilla vibes smells beautiful but I find it only lasts an hour or two on my skin. :(
