Yeah those are good off there! These are just the cheap knockoffs though, not actual 3rd party. I was actually looking to get a Martialist Forever Goku off AliExpress

For the Vegeta, maybe try the hairdryer trick, heat all the joints up then kinda press back into place see if that might help. Then you can always re-do the faces if you know how to, would look 100 times better I think with a re-paint especially that grey armor x.x
I’m trying to get into some customs, but I think it’d be awhile before I could paint my own face on one 😬

2nd comment here for the paints and customizing, so me and my brother customize transformers and some dragonball figures and we used testors paint that we found at hobby lobby, they are 2 dollars per color and there is no after coats of other chemicals to keep it from getting scratched, these paints autimatically turn out like they belong on the figure and dont scratch, hope this helped!
Nice! Yeah that help a lot! So no primer or any mod podge afterwards to hold it in? Also is testors paint a certain kind of paint or the brand?
@@Wasting_Money from my experience with this paint I have had to apply no primer or mod podge after and I throw some of them and bins and they dont scratch also the brand is called testors paint, its used for painting model cars and kits but works really well for action figures, its 2 bucks per color or you can buy an assortment of basic colors ETC…

The 18 bootleg was a web exclusive release I’m pretty sure. If not it was a normal release. The event figure had a much different box. Hope this helps and keep up the great videos. I’ve gone too deep into collecting the figures and bought so many lol.

I filmed this one Friday and edited this morning so I typically don’t film new stuff til later in the week before wed 😅 I have some stuff for the next one but nothing solid yet. I went hunting for some Spiderman figs but not sure if people would wanna see that as much. I can still flip it to include some dragon ball stuff though 😂
I’m still very appreciative about the shout out that’s going to happen and also I love Spider-Man figures so if all your other fans have the same perspective as me I think people would love it

Ah, for customs with easy parts like hair and not joints you can just get some acrylic (I use Apple Barrel) and then use mod podge as a clear coat (I use the purple hard coat one), also when painting tiny parts like eyebrows make sure to use the tip of a needle or small point, I make 12" DBZ figures with those big limit breaker figure heads and I don't really have experience painting joints because I sew clothing for my figures, they're kinda like DBZ barbies in a way, but I do repaint the heads and acrylic with mod podge clear coat has worked very well

Bootlegs are a basically lower quality and cheaper alternative to the original. Great video man😃
Yeah some are good and some are just plain awful haha. I’m gonna try and do a custom on one of them though and will be good practice vs on the real deal

I ordered from ali express once, but that was because a found a post that looked like someone reselling a bunch of demonical fit head sculpt kits and that one was fine, but all the posts that looked like actual figuarts did look mad sketchy, glad i never touched them

They worked good on android 18 but on Vegeta the articulation wouldn’t even let the shoulders go out that much to push them in all the unfrotunetly

there are 2 bootleg brands one is without the entiure bottom text and one only removes the tamashi sticker the ssj4 bootlegs are actually pretty decent
I thought we’re all just kinda their own thing. I didn’t know about that. The 18 box was pretty solid though and looked and felt legit other than the stickers. The Vegeta box was just it printed out on paper material

Tbf DF is a third party brand, so generally good quality products but without having the licensing rights. It has nothing to do with classic counterfeiting aimed at passing off a product of questionable quality as the original.
