Dear Mary Ann Espinas, Normal range of G6PD activity is 10.15-14.71 U/g Hb for neonates and 6.75-11.95 U/g Hb for adults. In infants 1 to 12 months old, mean normal value is about 9.6 U/g Hb, and the upper limit of partial deficiency of G6pd is approximately 6 U/g Hb. Your baby G6pd level (7.22) is a bit greater than this so it's mild deficiency.

'Chia seeds' (Salvia Hispanica) are the seeds of a flowering plant which originally belongs to the Mint (Menthol plant) family. As Mint is prohibited in G6PD so please also avoid Chia seeds.
'Quiona' is a flowering plant which belong to Amaranth family. As amaranth is allowed in G6PD so Quiona seeds can be eaten too.

      Dear Nisha Gurung,
Legumes are edible plants that grow in pods, and pulses are edible seeds inside those pods that have been harvested and dried for you to eat. Fava beans belong to the legume family which must be avoided in G6PD deficiency.
It has also been advised that all legumes (such as peas, lentils (pulses), or peanuts) be avoided for those suffering from this condition. Although this has not been scientifically proven.
