You left out # 11, adjusting for height of person, a 6'2" person needs a deeper and taller seat. Or they can't get up out of it, or they fall out the front.

Why do most 20 in w/c have lower weight capacity though everyone I look at says 250-265
Drive Medical 20 inch wheelchairs are 350 pounds rated.
You are seeing so many with lower weight ratings because you're looking at lightweight chairs. Lightweight chairs are light because they have less steel, so they're less strong so they have lower weight ratings.
The 350 pound rated Drive Medical Silver Sport weighs 42 pounds. You're not going to find a 20 pound wheelchair rated at 300 pounds and above. That's just wishful thinking.

18 inch wheelchairs go nowhere near 300 pounds, especially if the user is short. 250 is more reasonable. 275 if the user is on the tall side.
I'm 5'7" and 275, and my ass gets wedged stuck into an 18 inch wheelchair. Most 18" wheelchairs are rated by the manufacturer for up to 250 pounds not 300 as well.

Less than 30 lbs.? Unless you got a prescription for a rehabilitation manual wheelchair or nearly a grand to spend, you're not getting one under 30 lbs.
