I love to play my Knight inquisitor this moment, going to Darfari camps to PURGE THE HERETICS, capture their sorcerers so the Khitan can PURGE THE HERETICS and requisition some t4 thralls after I PURGE THE HERETICS on the wheel of pain. But I agree on the video being fun.
and probaby more interesting than playing the game all together tbh ..

the battle pass was the one thing that never made sense to me that they added

-the white dragon trophy head
-the fix/fill of the alpha wall hole in the east wall of the nameless city.
- a more interesting pupose of the endgate of the silver mine, other than being a giant flashy exit.
I like the down but not out for the purge. I have had thralls chase down big groups of enemies and swarmed. Sometimes I loose sight of them due to the chaos of high level purges and in thickly wooded areas. I do wish that thralls actively participating in a purge could gain some level points at end of successful purge, even if only at a percentage of normal rate.
Set your fighter to hold or withdraw so they don't chase things down. Archers always have set to Hold ! They won't move their spot
@@dhampir216 Um they have their default at withdraw but still same thing in a way i guess.
I just like the enthusiasm Wak has now. I have it, too.. Took them long enough to get right. Now, the Neebs' boys won't have an excuse to kill off their thralls.. but something tells me, they'll find a way to kill them anyways, lol.

i just hope the bugs on console get fixed. for as large as a download Conan is unless i see a dedicated patch note for xbox/ps4-5 and the like it takes too much HD space to find out nope still can't start a game without CTD. and i am not sure about anyone else i have not seen Conan's bar since AOS at least for ps4
Legendary weapons? No they are not Legendary because they ultimately fade away! Legendary thing are famous enough to survive through Time.....That is what makes it Legendary. They need to change it back to the way it was before.

I am a man of culture and I only came here to see this Conan Exile style anime girl.
The one thing that keeps me from playing this anymore is the tethering, i really wish they would update that feature on the engine for PC, enable the teathering in local hosting to go away like every other coop game that exists. I myself do not want to play on a public or own a server but i prefer my own settings, as do my freinds. But the local coop with tethering makes the game unplayable. Thus far this game is amazing even at its age. But the teathering feature in local coop really keeps me from playing this with my friends.

Im not sure how I feel about this really, I'd be ok with it if they just removed the Bazar also, and put out one last DLC with all the Bazar item in it.

Finaly we have something interesting in that update, the down state of followers is great as we often fall in love with them!!! 😁
And the sorcerers events were what i liked to do during age of sorcery, that was something fun to do.
The battle pass was mostly a pain in the ass, but it was also a way to get some features for free, now i guess we will be forced to go to the bazaar.
Well Funcom has probably noticed that most people just bought the new battlepass with the money they got during the previous battlepass and did not buy anything else.
So now the bazaar will be the only place to find what we got during the battlepass, well now we will be forced to pay, i never bought anything in the bazaar and i will never do it for sure.
Please don't forget Isle Siptah when you look for traders' location.

The game must be dying in terms of revenue. The removal of a battle pass and the content cadence goes from three months to six isn’t a good sign. That sounds like moving towards maintenance mode.
Or new project.. all the same. Not a good sign. Obolus are a good sign & addition, however. If it rotates, as Wak mentions, it's a promising aspect, change imo. If we can get varying schematics etc over time, it's an object that keeps us playing their game to earn the content they're working on, etc. It can keep a player base going while they work on "The next Big" whether within or outside. I'm at least saying I'd like to see them giving us something. It's not a dead project, maybe in a poor management's position, goes without saying. Game needs life & advertisement according to its gamestyle. We're still here listening & upstanding artists making content for it. Not a bash on your comment, more of, someone hear me/us here with the concerns
They are focusing on Dune Awakening, since that is their new baby. Conan is about 10 years old now. 😂

This down but not out interaction happened to my horse the other day when it got cornered by some dafari near a wall, it's really nice but I cant help but worry that this is going to be abused in someway, really hoping it dosnt make funcom chose to disable it in the future.

No updates every 3 months , instead every 6 months, sorry but this just sounds like bugs (especially on consoles) will take twice as long to be fixed and that the Devs aren’t going spend as much time on content.
But I bet the Bazaar is not going to be neglected like the game.

Is this stuff like the battle pass items pay to rent ? Or as the items owned like dlc ? When funcom closes Conan servers all that stuff will be unlocked but not available to build or place or wear
The possibility of “forever” thralls would be much appreciated. In a single player game they’re not just expendable resources, they’re friends and companions.

Since the sacred hunt i've been having an issue. I'm on xbox one, my game updates but things don't change. Never saw the random werewolf attacks and the traders wouldn't spawn. Now the caravans won't spawn. I do have the down not out feature, don't have fatalities though. What is happening? Funcom won't get back to me.

Cant help but feel the no battle pass is a bad thing. It means every single new item they make will now be an absurd price in the bazaar.
Blame the players. "We want that! We don't want that! We don't know what we want but we want it now and we want it for FREE!".

3:35 This is how it should have been back when they had this in AoS Chaps. 2 & 3. Why they thought we'd only want the Mad Prophet pieces and not the recipe to make it ourselves to this day still escapes my reasoning.
They need to bring the Arnold swaznagger conan sword available to all through a quest it was only available to certain players before but games been out long enough now for them to release it to everyone
I got the sundered manicles schematic. Used it in my inventory. Didn't learn anything. Can't find them to craft in any station and they don't appear in my any knowledge tabs. Am i missing something or have i just been dicked?
So does this mean that instead of a battle pass we will just get a few content dump (battlepass stuff) or does it mean the battle pass is free and you still have to play the game and earn the content?
Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction. We'll see in the future.
They need more end game content for dungeons and such AND map expansion or new mapset!

They could have, you know, enabled anti-cheatfor Linux users so that way they could play. I stopped playing ages ago because I couldn't play on efficient servers.
Because of that, they ousted more than 2 million potential players easily.
So it sounds like devs started taking notes while playing Soulmask 😂
I wonder if they ever fixed pet damage or anything the tiger pet still does 6 ppoints of damage at this current time, on console anyway.

The removal of the battle pass can mean only one thing, we will have to purchase the new Ages almost like expanded content or DLC's. Two years (if an Age have 4 chapters) is enough time to develop payable content. This is my assumption and is not factual but it makes sense to me. They are a business after all and people were cheesing the battle pass anyway.

My Bearer's HP got nerfed hard.
It goes by race now. Or where they are found like a volcano bearer will have higher amounts of hp rather then a beginner thrall bearer which will have way less hp gain.
Ya, I'm fine with it. Before the nerf there was no reason to bring anything but bearers with you. Them not being ultra tanks, makes sense.

I lost all of my unnamed Hunter of jhebbal sag after updated !!!!!! Just that one I named is still alive, hvnt shown wt killed them on the clan log, just said died and all of them died at the same time!!!!! Thought the devs used the code to remove all werewolves but killed those owned by players also

Yes, I started a toon on siptah and came across one of the caravans.
this event more hard work to do. not like battle pass or twitch tv drop which can use on others server .
The followers not perma-dying is awesome, but them removing the battlepass is a terrible decision.
I paid only for the first one and unlocked every single thing from every single battlepass since so easily, and without paying a cent because each battlepass gave enough crom coin for the next pass. It had become the best value for your money they ever had, even better than the DLC's. Now all that's left is that stupid ridiculously overpriced bazaar. I been playing this game on and off since closed beta but they just lost me with this update.

I want to know why they stopped updating the dev kit. Its been several patches with no dev kit update. They keep patching the game and sooner or later mods will stop working.

Sure sounds like they should have just left the game with DLC packs instead of driving away people with the battle pass and bazaar.

Six months back, they changed the BP season to 4 chapters because they couldnt finish the Age in time.. Now theyre scrapping it? This seems like there is really deeper issues at FC than before. I wish they would just be honest FOR ONCE. Ive played FC games since Age of Conan Beta, nearly 20 years ago, and they have always kept their cards close to their chest and always had a very bad updating regiment. Conan Exiles use to be my favorite game that I would always come back to the most but now I think its SO outdated Im not sure if I can dedicate any more of my time or money to supporting it. I'm actually surprised FC havent changed the name to Conan Exiles Legends or Unchained like they do to all of their scrapped projects. I would have liked to se what the new Amazonian faction in the Dev Kit was all about..
This last battle pass is the last one i got, I play thos on PS and PC, so I was buying 2...it isn't worth it anymore, to me. I used to play this game A LOT, I still jump on, mainly to play the mods I've installed, I don't do online, too many cheaters...single player only.
To say it short. They added stuff I didn't need.

I REALLY wish they would just be account bound after you buy them and the event just be permanent. The fact that if I join a server right now and can't get my favorite armor in the game (The cloak from the sacred hunt) makes me not even want to open the game. Limited timed events with limited timed rewards are stupid and not needed in Conan.

Very glad they're finally ditching the abomination that is the Battlepass. Hope all other companies out there have also realized its a waste of time and effort to produce them, and how insulting they are towards their player-bases.
Daily&weekly incentivized content in a sandbox game CAN BE A GOOD THING, for the record. It can give you direction in things to do, while providing neat, worthwhile rewards to improve your experience. But locking it behind a paywall that instead reads as, "Pay for the right to be able to earn these rewards, after you've wasting enough time grinding" is a massive slap to the face.
Well if you want to pay 20,000 Crom Coins in The Bazaar for Battle Pass quantity of stuff then go ahead support end of Battle Pass
@@OlSkunGun Yea people should take a minute and think, where do they think all the things you used to get easily in the Battle Pass will go, in game? of course not, they will go into the Bazaar, ridiculously overpriced like everything else.
@@acid5ive244 Where people still won't buy them because like the Battlepass most people don't buy stuff out of the Bazar. I honestly think we're going to see a restructuring to the Bazar in the near future. It's just not performing well and I think Funcom knows that.
@@acid5ive244 I'm glad I'm not the only one whose mind this idea immediately crossed... compared to abominable prices in Bazaar, Battlepass was quite good source of new cosmetics, even though I had issues with it as well (give us back those Yog/Derketo-damned DLCs)
@@OlSkunGun Nobody---even---implied paying for such a thing? Fuck both. The cash shop is easily ignored. And with the battle pass disappearing from the menu tabs interconnected with your inventory, that means less pointless clutter to be forced to look at every time one decides to get on and play the game.
The battle pass had a lot of good stuff in it. And it helped gave me a goal to reach throughout the game. So to take out my frustration, I'm just going to log onto Conan and decapitate some sorcerers😂
Thank god for the thrall patch. I just lost my captain ishuaba or however you spell his name the other day fighting the cimmerians at the burial mounds. I was so sad and was not ready for that. Just ran in blind lol.
The devs did not fix the cimmerian or accursed armor situation yet so it's best to go in with extreme caution.

You need to find Khitani cart. If locations of carts is exact as in Age of Sorcery then nearest ones looking from perspective of MekSkemosis is one in front The Den [between The Den and nearby oasis] and one that should be somewhere nearby today Al-Merayah stronghold

the only thing i found in conan was erp'ers, bored clans that no life the game and farm new players, ppl abusing the build system to stack black ice walls.
