I know this doesn’t directly answer the question regarding a change of color during the clap, but that OLED does seem very clear, no flicker or glare, even under fluorescent NAB lights.

Will the slate be included in an optionally bundled price with the timebar? Also, I always try to go for the color stripe clappers over the basic b/w, if tentacle might consider switching their base design? That way, I have a color guide for all manner of things I might label in the order they are deployed: rehearsal markings, camera letters, track e channel/assignment, device and file names, such as "jimsGREENsyncE" you name it
