Ikr? Even in the # theres nothing about Unprocessed. Its all Polyphia? I get they're a draw, but Unprocessed needs the attention. Their music is phenomenal.
it gets more clicks. you can call it disrespectful but i think unprocessed doesn't mind not being mentioned in the title if his reaction video gets more views that way thus getting the band more attention
For me this song is so memorable because of how Steve Vai has appeared as a guest in Ego death and how 1 year later Tim & Scott appeared as guests here. Musiciants have so many possibilities now and grow crazy fast…
Steve Vai on Ego death was my gateway to Polyphia. It feels so long ago. That day I saw Tim started a new chapter of my life that has giving me so much. There are moments when you are witnessing the birth of somthing new. I'm so thankfull of being here. As a matter of fact ... I can trace my way to this track by a lifelong line of events. My door to Vai was through Zappa. Now I often finds new music throug reactionvideos like this. Spotifys "radio" is also a source of exploration. This Unprocessed album has the rawness I need to resonate with. This listening road is taking me faaar away from my friends. Now I'm on my ownish ... wasent it for comunitys like this. Thanks!
Having listened to this album multiple times now, I can easily say it is my favourite from them. They have really experimented with their sound and have arrived at such a great end result of all that experimenting. 9/10 album easily. Guitar Porny, as I got to the end of the video.
Guitar porny - 2:55 is so Bad Omens. Let me be clear, they're obviously two different styles, but when they mix in with their softer sound with less instrumental crazyness, there's some vibe and vocal parts that does sound very similar to Noah Sebastian throughout the whole album.
The album was awesome and such a unique surprise in metalcore, one of the top albums of the year for sure. Hopefully they get the recognition they deserve. Hate to compare but like a perfect blend of bad omens, polyphia and sleep token.
i agree with this not being as Guitar Porny as your chat was describing. this would've been my favorite single if it was released before blackbone, but i just loved blackbone so damn much
Weird that you've titled the video about Polyphia when it's literally an Unprocessed song. Even the tags are Polyphia and Tim Henson, come on. That's so disrespectful. Very unexpected.
Their album is incredible, innovative and no song is a throwaway/disappointment. My ONLY complaints are the mix and the heavy guitar tone. Would’ve been an AOTY contender for me if not for those things.
I'm a bit conflicted on the album there's bits I rlly like usually more or the chill sections but I think sometimes theres just a bit too much happening in the mix and it takes me out of it But it's very unique and so I can appreciate it for being original
The mix on this album just isn't that clear, it's pretty muddy and the heavy guitars kinda drown in themselves. There's a noticable amount of people mentioning the mix negatively in this comment section or on the reddit album discussion.
for me it's hard to get into the polyphia sound. idk. maybe i'm old and stopped playing instruments and now that i'm just a listener, it's hard for me to enjoy music that's trying so hard to be so technical. idk. that's just me.
To be fair this type of music is really hard to get into as a casual listener, im the same just can't seem to like this band. The majority of people will probably agree with us as most people are casual listeners.
@@liampybus7116 and also a lot of them will disagree with us because it's the current trend. it's what's popular rn. i mean, when i heard them the first time i was like, ok this sounds good but when you listen to it more, you'll soon realize that music never really have to be so complex. i also realize that i sound so much of a boomer rn. lmao
It's okay... All of classical music composition is also very technical, and not all of people like classical music. If you play... Let's say Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement not on piano or orchestra, but on electric guitar instead, it would sounds like polyphia composition. (Because apparently, that's exactly how Tim does his writing 😂. He write the complex piano version first, then convert it to guitar playing, that's why it feels so full and technical).
I'm a bit sad that the song feels "too full" to me and what I mean by that is there's a kind of a background guitar distortion sound or something that makes no room for the rest to shine. It's not over the full song but still..
guitar porny 😅 I was really surprised to see other people’s reactions to this as not liking it. I also though this is probably my new favorite song next to thrash.
No. Polyphia is Prog. Sorry, that's just what someone told me. I've also been told Blackened by Metallica is as heavy or heavier than Bleed by Meshuggah and that Master of Puppets is the pinnacle of Metal. So. You're wrong. Again, not my opinion, that's just what I've been told by metal experts, who definitely know better than everyone else.
My problem with this genre (especially when Manuel is involved), is that every song sounds like a run-on of the last song. He's got this singular bag of tricks that he just abuses. It's super played out.

Man wish the highlights were on CZcams :( Hope you liked the album!
This is Unprocessed featuring Scott LePage and Tim Henson of Polyphia, not the group Polyphia.
Why not mention Unprocessed in the title? That's a bit disrespectful IMHO
Ikr? Even in the # theres nothing about Unprocessed. Its all Polyphia?
I get they're a draw, but Unprocessed needs the attention. Their music is phenomenal.
@@Cloud-wj2jb 7 days and still no fix to the title, freaking crazy.
And then hides the rest of the album behind pay wall 💀
Unprocessed > Polyphia 🙈

Album’s a bangerrrrr, this is probably my 4th or 5th fave song on it though!
‘Hell’ is one of my favourite choruses this year man, so damn catchy 🫣
Albums soooooo gooooood dude!!!
Hell is my second favorite song the intro riff is tough 🔥
That whammy bend in the opening riff gets me everytime 😊
If I didn't already know who did this, I'd swear that thumpin was Tosin Abasi. It's exactly what I'd expect from Animals As Leaders.
Tim actually learned it directly from Tosin!
For me this song is so memorable because of how Steve Vai has appeared as a guest in Ego death and how 1 year later Tim & Scott appeared as guests here. Musiciants have so many possibilities now and grow crazy fast…

Guitar porny lol. I really want Unprocessed to get the widespread recognition they deserve for creating such a masterpiece 🔥
literally bro the mf didnt even mention them in his thumbnail or vid title its pathetic
Having listened to this album multiple times now, I can easily say it is my favourite from them. They have really experimented with their sound and have arrived at such a great end result of all that experimenting. 9/10 album easily.

really disappointed you didnt put the bands name in the title instead of putting polyphia in it for clicks.

Album caught me so offguard loved the singles but the album in full is amazing. Definitely been in my rotation since release
Recently packed up on these guys and I am definitely a fan now. Will be seeing them live in the spring for sure.
BRUH! mention Unprocessed in the title.🙃

Cant wait to see your reaction when our album drops
Insane skill but also CC Unprocessed
Guitar porny! Been loving Unprocessed lately because of your channel! I may never had heard of them without you Birb!
Well thanks for watching my vids!
Personally my 2nd favourite song from 2023 absolute god tier work. Unprocessed is criminally underrated. (1st is the summoning lmao)
This straight up SLAPS! Love it - thanks for the find ...

I hear you. There are moments in this album where my gym headphones just sound like static lol
I appreciate that Happy Gilmore reference at the start 👏
Should probably look into look into Tim's past if you think they've just suddenly gone metal.
Polyphia were metal when they started out
"it's guitar porn" guys as opposed to what? rhythm porn? vocal porn? math porn? It has Polyphia on it tf exactly you were expecting lol
Weird title.
All songs are 10/10, but lore is 11/10
unprocessed video, yet its all about tim henson and polyphia in the title and thumbnail, kinda lame.
I actually really like this song. its quite catchy as well. Makes me interested in the album!
Will the album reaction be on YT as well?

Unprocessed*
Check that awesome band!
Why you only put polyphia in the title and in the hashtags like come on show some respect to unprocessed
I listened to this on just my PC speakers that are trash and was like ummm? Then I put my new airpods in...I had to change pants...
"Just taaaap it in" Excellent
Bro you literally have the bands name in the info section of this video, why have the wrong band in the title? Come on my guy what are you doing...

it gets a solid 9.9 from me. -0.1 because the song has ended and I don't like that.
Wtf, is this title a joke or smth ?
thats not metal, thats whine pop with some dark tone
Album is sick.
Wow some people in your chat are obnoxious af, there's ways to say you don't like something (and why) without acting like its the one truth
Guitar porny! Loved it 🔥
This is what happens when you breed POLYPHIA and ANIMAL AS A LEADER 🫡🫡
My little pony was yesterday, Guitar Porny is today xD
