Kent Williams 2024 Bee School: Part Two

Come along with me as we attend the 2024 Kent Williams Bee School with EAS Master beekeeper, Kent Williams. Located on his farm in Wingo, Kentucky, Kent and a few volunteers from the Lake Barkley Beekeepers Association, take the time to demonstrate and teach a variety of beekeeping practices to beekeepers from all over the country. Techniques such as walk-away splits, mite washes, hive inspections, queen grafting , and more are discussed and demonstrated in great detail. A wealth of knowledge, Kent has forgotten more about beekeeping than most people will ever know!
The bee school is every April and lasts for three days. Highly recommended for beekeepers of any age and level of experience. Kent has something for everyone. I can’t wait to go back next year!

The Hopkins method is one I have not tried but I did see some articles about it in Bee Culture magazine recently. There are not a ton of videos on youtube about it but there are some. Thanks for sharing!
