James frustrates me so much. I really don't understand how someone so knowledgeable defends Southgate. He should have been fired after losing the 2021 final
In fairness for once he is being super critical. England were rubbish.
I've noticed fans that support teams that have never won, seems to like Southgate.
@@mrhussain9008 One look at him should tell you everything you need to know. Him & Southgate are the same kind of person
Foden 5? This lad has generational PR no one else could get away with a generational stinker like yesterday
Because he’s a multiple trophy winner playing with a bunch of perennial bottlers. He’s being played out of position, by a clueless fraudulent manager. Waste of time.
@jordanandremcdonnell4641 he's never performed for England, even when he's played as a 10, Jude is also a multiple trophy winner and even though he's been poor, he's still found a way to be decisive.
@@jordanandremcdonnell4641grow up, he plays lw for city too look at the fa cup final.
Love how the players all went from 3/10's to 6 & 7's because of one moment of brilliance. Every single player was 5/10 or lower and if we play anything like that Switzerland will embarrass us.
mainoo and rice were class and jude kept us in this tournament with the pressure there that’s why he’s higher
@@spurs4life-xc7ho Mainoo needs to play 10. And Gordon for Foden and RW Palmer/Saka. Trent for Walker
Besides Mainoo. He was clearly the best player on the pitch until he got subbed off. Rice was very meh. Way too slow on the ball, very rarely passed forward and those rare passes almost never worked. Besides the one shot, he did fuck all. lol
As soon as Trippier went off and Saka was put at LB, we had better balance. But it wasnt until Eze came on to help the left side, did we actually look fluid.
The 352 with saka at lwb and Toney up top with Kane was the most balanced we've looked all tournament, even if it only lasted for 5 minutes either side of the beginning of extra time 😂
it was a godsend that Trippier got injured there, otherwise Southgate would've kept him on
he was absolutely dreadful
@@keepitsecret-dl1pr Tripper is left far too often isolated on the wing, Foden keeps disappearing into the middle, the number of times Trippier looked to make a forward pass and nobody was there was ridiculous, it was the same defensively as well, the back four are for too often disconnected from the midfield who keep pushing up and letting the opposing team in between them and the defense, Southgate is a tactical plum.
@@Basman59 I'm hoping after four games of that absolute shit he might finally realise a change of system is what's needed. He did it at the last euros and it worked so we know it's in his locker. I think all the players would immediately look more comfortable with 3 at the back. He did allude to looking at a change of system in one of his post match interviews so I'm keeping my fingers crossed but his arrogance and stubbornness so far in ignoring what's right in front of him isn't giving me much hope
It doesn't matter how bad or ineffective Foden is on the left, "brutal" Rory won't score him less than a 5. And to blame the quality of Trippier's pass for Foden stupidly straying offside is outrageous. For all of Trippier's inadequacies, he put it on a plate for Foden (and with his left foot). Southgate should be getting the 0/10.
Disrespect for Trippier. 0/10? Not his fault nothing is happening in front of him. And they give Guehi 8/10 who was at fault for the goal
Palmer gets a 7 and rice a 6? 😂😂😂😂 palmer did shit all.
Exactly, people are acting like palmer was amazing he miss placed so many passes for being on the pitch for a short time
Kobi was very good
"Got to be brutal" and Foden gets a 5
He's been gash the entire tournament, we literally won the game when he went off
@@hazzshakes9561Only cos they've all been terrible, can't think of one thing hes done
Only player who deserves a 7/10 is Kobbe Mainoo, the rest was easily worse than him. Really dissapointed in seeing a knowledgable guy like James feeding into the blind Bellingham PR as he has been really underperfoming for the whole tournament.
This guy gets it. The front four and Rice have been average or worse. With those quality of players, in no way should some young lad with a handful of England games be the one raising the standards and pushing the ball forward. Easily the best player until he was subbed off.
Trippier almost got an assist (if Foden knew how to check the line like all good footballers do).
Every player has been offside. Ronaldo was offside when Marcelo squared it to him against Bayern does that mean he’s not a good player?

For this he got a 6 😂
Rory doesn't believe in stats (or reading comments) so this is just pissing in the wind 🤣
We cheered his shot so loud my wife came running in thinking it was a goal 😂
Ina team where nobody is shooting rice has to get at least a 6 just for th at
Watch football with your eyes and stop looking at stats. Easy to have such a good pass accuracy and complete 80 passes when 95% of your passes are backwards or sideways and short.
Defensively, he was mostly solid.
Going forward, terrible. Completely slowed the game down, allowing opposition to reset and get back into position.
The manager has one basic job - to pick the best team. This was an abject failure. It's like working as a drummer, you turn up for a gig and you've forgotten to bring your drums.... Well, you fell at the first hurdle. The lack of a plan A or a plan B or C is mind-blowing.
Wrong. The attitude of “pick the best team” is the reason the Golden Generation won nothing, because it forces you to pick Gerrard, Lampard and Scholes in the midfield when they simply don’t work together. In fact the manager’s job is to actually “CREATE the best team”, which means picking players that actually complement each other. None of the Swiss players would make it into the England XI, but their manager has done a fantastic job of creating a team that all work well together in a cohesive and efficient unit. That is what England and Southgate is lacking.
@@reecetomm I didn't say "pick the best players," I said "pick the best team." Meaning pick the players that would create the best team.... I thought that was clear.
You gave Trippier a 0 and Stones a 5. You are a clown.
Nobody is talking about Gomez at left back. Did a great job deputising for Robertson there this season
He played there 19 times this season, shaw only played 15 games total hasn't played for months, trippiers not a lb, saka is a wc rw apparently so y play him out of position? Gomez is the only logical pick, his versatility is what supposedly got him in the squad and nobody even mentions him or they just wave him off saying he's right footed as well which is completely irrelevant.
Hang in there England fans. We’re still fighting!
0% for Trippier is ridiculous. People are so hung up on the left side. He crossed with his left for Foden's disallowed goal.
Lets hppe its the last we see of Tripover.. they are still looking for the ball from his skyed shot & his crap pass for Guehi's yellow
It's not rediculous. His presence makes the team worse. We've got no width and that's because of Trippier
Trippier is awful. His only world class trait is his crossing, and thats negated whwn he has to keep cutting inside. Hes slow, weak, a poor dribbler, poor passer, bad defensively both aerially and on the floor, and he is fucking constantly out of position. If he was actually at LB and not sat 30 yards forward, we wouldnt have gone 1 down in the first place. He is far and away the worst England player on the pitch.
@@terrynolan609 Let's fix one problem at a time! But yeah, fair point. At least Saka can go outside sometimes as he showed in the first game.
Gotta be Gordon for Foden, then bring him on for Mainoo after 65/70. And, for the love of Christ, Gomes for Tripps. Sorted.
Why bring off the player that, in all of the games that he's played, has been top 2 players on the field? Talking about Mainoo, obviously.
@@CoconutJewcebecause English fans will do anything to praise Foden lol
Why not just play Foden as a 10 where he has been sensational all season and play Gordon on the left?
@@Cropsy-yy9wg because Foden has never had a good game in an England shirt. So why do we keep trying to force him into the team?
Stones- lumbering poor passing ( usually backwards)
Walker- piss poor passing ( usually backwards)
Rice- lots of passing mistakes.
Kane plodding, fumbling and pointless ( he is exactly the same material as goal hanger Lineker in his time)
Englands patchy lacklustre team They will be dismantled by the Swiss.
@JLuciid if I see 9ne more person think Rice was good because he had 90% pass completion I'm going to drive to Germany and punch Rice in the face. He was poor all game. There's no way anyone watched Spain straight after our game and thought Rice is even close to Rodri. It was instantly obvious that England would be such a better side if we had a Rodri instead of a Rice.
@@JLuciidHe's very slow on the ball and sets up his teammates for failure because of it. Watch the game with your eyes, buddy.

You guys have an awesome vibe/chemistry! Keep the vids coming gents. Loving the Euros and your videos! Much love from South Africa 🙏⚽💚
You scrutinize every moment and take the love and joy out of it . The players deserve passionate and loyal fans. .
- Trippier is turning 34 in a few months, Kyle Walker is 34 already & both have looked poor this season. It’s not like we have a lack of options at RB, so why are these guys even still playing in the first place when TAA is fit. And if you’re going to take gambles, then Reece James is fit now and has actually played games at the end of the season (cough Luke Shaw).
- Foden at LW simply cannot continue. It was obvious after the Denmark game it doesn’t work and even more so after Slovenia. The fact Southgate persisted this far is crazy. Anthony Gordon has been flying at LW all season and is exactly what this team needs.
- The midfield balance is completely lacking & after saying Wharton was a profile we’ve been lacking for ages, Southgate proceeds to not even give him a minute. Wharton is the kind of player you need to control the midfield which is apparently what Southgate’s England want to do.
- The timing of subs is so so bad. Everything is way too late & he’s clearly not capable of making tough decisions (taking off Kane, Foden or Saka when it’s clear things are working).
- What even is the logic behind playing Konsa at LB ahead of Joe Gomez who’s played there considerably this season?
- There is absolutely nothing from this team in terms of style of play or tactics. It’s all relying on individual brilliance & moments, it’s embarrassing. Switzerland are well drilled and actually have a style of play and attacking. Expect them to win comfortably as it’s clear now Southgate is extremely out of his depth. We won’t get lucky again.
Got to be brutal until it comes to Foden very generous with a 5
Foden literally put a perfect cross only for Kane to 50p it from 6 yards out.
Huge huge questions on Southgate and Holland for being so blind and incompetent.
Pickford 6
Walker 3
Stones 4
Guehi 4
Trippier 3
Rice 5
Mainoo 6
Saka 4
Bellingham 6
Foden 3
Kane 4
You guys are the best people who actually says something without bias. Respect 👏. U guys respect the work of Bukayo Saka and knows he doesn't get enough ball in the right hand side. Fair play,.most of the other people in England barely ignore the good work done by Saka all the time.
Bellingham 100/10 then there is a problem. He was poor yet again but of course he scores and that covers up his performance and then there’s Kane and he gets a 5/10. The standards for these players need to be the same
One's skin has the right amount of melanin for this pozzed channel, the other doesn't.
Southgate and Rory football IQ is the same. He gave Foden a 5 after that performance 😂 England literally won the game after he got subbed off.
Rory... You're a great man. A legend
If you need to know how little Rory has a clue just watch this video!
Did they give Palmer a 7 for doing fuck all? Gave the ball away more than he gave it an England player. Did nothing but pass backwards, rarely got passed his man. They are focusing on the rare time he got passed his man and not the amount of times he was pushed back.
I don’t blame Palmer but it demonstrates that Saka isn’t the problem.
Jesus some high ratings for well under par performances. Bellingham is like mctominay. Scores a goal and you forget how shit he played
Nothing brutal about these ratings if anything they’re too generous
Sleep well last night Rory?
Do English fans really have such poor football knowledge that they want to bench the best player in the PL last season instead of wanting him to be played in his best position. I swear Southgate has ruined everything. People are not even asking to play another formation anymore. It's like the managers inability to play more than one formation an been passed on to the public. Crazy.
Palmer kept giving the ball away
Mate, in future any games from Cologne to Gelsenkirchen to Dortmund stay in Düsseldorf … for one, people aren't so suicidal that the hotels cage the balconies.
Wonder what's going on in Germany that could possibly be making the "population" (AKA men) so suicidal. What a mystery... 🤔🤔🤔🤡
Marc Guehi an 8? Are on on crack? he was the main reason we conceded
I think konsa was an unsung hero, coming out to stop the cross. Was very key in keeping us in the game at the end
Walker has never been mr reliable, he's always been poor
Lmao. One of the most respected defenders in all of world football. You're a clown.
These two would pull out of a 50 50 tackle on a wet soggy Sunday morning written all over them
You two are great content together, proper yin and yang situation. You should team up more often.
The atmosphere was obviously great, you could see it from the TV coverage.
Rice for all his mistakes came closest to scoring apart from the goals.
We're lucky to still be in the tournament. A better side beats us if we do not improve ball retention and chance creation.
Konsa is a lot better than people give him credit for. He’s a clean tackler and good defender. I think he will do a good job. He’s a favourite under emery and come a long way. He’s coming into his prime now. Deserves to be in this competition. I’m not worried about the defence suffering with him there
I feel like the players like palmer, mainoo, Gordon and probably Wharton don’t actually want to play for Southgate, they just want to play football.
Which is exactly why they should be playing this next game !
Saying it was a 'fairly inadequate' performance isn't sugar coating it, more like dumping an entire truck load of Lemon Sherbet over it.
We need to play fast and aggressive.
I truly believe we need two up top. The best we played was the 10 minutes Toney and Kane played together. A second striker automatically pulls defenders attention, if they mark Toney, Kane has space and vice versa. Toney in the box gave Bellingham the Space for the goal. Exactly the same for Kanes goal.
Then what? We take Kane off for Gallagher, play all out defence. Nothing else happens until Toney snatches at a half chance with 8 seconds left.
The TV broadcasters have been pumping up the volume of the boos and whistles whilst filtering out the cheers and the chants.
Everyone is extremely critical of England right now and deservedly so. Last night however, there was something different and I don't think I've seen it before from an England side. Every player wanted it no matter how sloppy they were. It takes a certain kind of magic for England to come from behind. Even against a lower ranked team England has a habit of letting games get away. It takes some magic to turn a game in the 95th minute and Jude found it.
kane doing the bellingham celebration next to him did not feel earned, embarrassing from him
Late night eyes on Rory boy
Palmer is a baller and also have a high football IQ, no idea how hes not starting

Im sure rory already made the video title “Gareth southgate must get sacked”
I was against starting Trent because I wouldn’t say he’s too reliable defensively however after Kyle walkers defensive frailties recently Trent seems the clear choice to me .
We need to stop looking at ourselves as an underdog against Switzerland. The games on Saturday and we’re already shitting ourselves. Giving them too much respect will hurt us.
Rory's voice is gone. i can imagine the shouting he was doing in the stadium.
Got to be honest, I was there too, and whilst the England fans did keep singing, there was a LOT of booing too...
walker was having a howler and we were 1-0 down, what a perfect situation to bring trent onto the pitch but no southgate thinks having walker on the pitch for the whole second half, including the last 10 minutes gave us a better chance of scoring? the only argument i’d hear is that walker is better defensively but that game i don’t think trent would’ve been worse and going forward it’s apples and oranges
@@user-vs7nm4hn8i no one would’ve been mad if they brought him off for trent in the 80th min and if they were mad then they don’t know ball

I'm not quite sure why you're as defensive of Guehi as you are, but I'm all for it. Always loved him from his single season at Swansea and have been very happy to see his rise.

Park Rice on Xhaka for the whole game to keep him quiet and we beat the Swiss
In fact I’m convinced that team wins the whole thing.
Mainoo our best player yesterday and Trent stunk it up in the groups, why drop mainoo for a RB in midfield?
I like it but I think Mainoo deserves to play after the performances he’s put in but again I don’t know who you drop for him, because surely Bellingham has to play and Gordon is important for width 😱 I do not envy Southgate 😂

Switched off after the Trippier rating of 2. Absolutely daft
Bellingham had one moment - the mark of a special player. But he did absolutely nothing for 94 mins. 6/10 at best
"Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the Party". Come on England!
Weird what did Palmer actually do that actually affected the game he got continued what England were doing just with more energy

Foden Stockport
Mainoo Cheadle & Gatley
Palmer Cheadle & Gatley
Gatley is a 5 minute walk away from both Wythenshawe and Stockport. And is my home village.
We’re just goated
I turned off the moment you mentioned Foden and Bellingham on the pitch together
I was at the WC game in Brazil. What a toxic atmosphere! I remember seeing a foam england flag coffin. It really felt like the death of English football. Southgate has rode his luck... players can't be bothered
Rory, you look like you've ages 10 years after 120 minutes of watching England.
I wish I could feel the same about the national team, I am completely indifferent to it
Foden 5.5?????????
He was abject. Can we stop defending him?!?!?!?!
13:20 Rory giving Antony props, I see. 😂
Do we think Trippier has done anything to practice playing as a left back when we knew Shaw wasn't going to be fit? Crossing, outside overlapping runs etc?? mental if not!
Gomez was flawless at LB for Liverpool all season and qualified for UCL as a result. Even kept us in the title race. Makes no sense to bring him and not use him
@@gaiusjcaesar09 also provided quite a good outlet on the overlap for a right footer. Unfortunately though, changing personnel doesn’t negate dreadful instructions/tactics.

Shut up Rory. Trippier was really good and created a couple of chances. That was best of his 4 games so how has he rating gone down? Pls answer.
Trippier was awful! 😂😂😂 he literally cannot cross the ball with his left foot! I was screaming at the TV just for one bloody cross or overlap! Simple stuff but he just can’t do it 😂😂😂😮
jude was one of the worst players in the game until the goal, and kept being shit after it...are u getting paid to overrate him?
Bellingham didn’t add much but comes through in the big moment. Get him in the 8 to try and fix the other problems going forward and he can still find himself in those positions to make an impact
Rory saying trent is an obvious replacement, check the other video where rory says he categorically cannot defend...
Player ratings don't matter when they're being played out of position and for a manager they have lost faith in
From my point of view the bench changed the game. Slovaks do not have bench and this reduced this team quality. When Duda, Kucka and Strelec left it had the very bad impact at the mid of the team.
As a neutral, England was very lucky to win.
Last minute against a team that should be beaten comfortably
I give Sucka (Saka) a zero
Marc Guehi an 8 LOL what a joke
He is a walking disaster, another absolute miracle for Southgate that he is suspended for the next game, mistake after mistake all tournament and he's just lucky to get away with it.
Ball watching for the goal, runs back & fouls the attacker who luckily for him scores instead of going down because it would have been a second yellow and a penalty. Then your video would be entirely different.
I get the injuries but not bringing James and Chilwell was a horrible idea.
What a load of shite. They got lucky at the end but played their usual crap game. Kneelgate needs throwing out.
Nothing short of getting sent off for punching the referee in the face while the whistle is still in his mouth at kick-off should get a zero.
Bellingham is bang average in the 10. Crazy how having one season in Spain and being poor in the champions league gets this much hype
Damn Rory realized he can actually give players 0
Also Foden gets a 1
Foden was shockingly bad
