My personal recommendation is that If you have a Foundation For Inner Peace version you should replace it as this is a heavily distorted by Wapnick to facilitate his anti At Onement Nonduality Death Cult.

Thanks for all the information and for suggesting The Borderland Foundation, got a couple of versions on the way, tending towards Sparkly and OE because I know I'll get more use out of portable segmented versions.

Hey Ellie Love!! I completely understand using the version that you know the most and can flip to anywhere in the book!! That's so helpful. FIP is definitely for you in that respect. and I know!!! Nice one Britney thank you. I use the FIP version, and the Sparkly edition. When recording the ACIM lessons with Qigong, I use the Sparkly version when I am recording downstairs recording and the FIP version whan upstairs as that one is next to my bed

What’s your thoughts on the white edition of A Course In miracles. I have a lot of versions I mostly using FIP because that’s what my group is using and that’s also the edition m

I always say to stick with whatever version you are most called to. HS will lead us all to the best one for us :) Those who receive something like the sparkly or Circle of Atonement after only having FIP can be quite radical sometimes, and truly next level for many students. The white version is void of page numbers and headings for chapters. Other than that it's like the Sparkly. So I don't recommend the white version ever...it's not practical or helpful for students of the Course. Especially with so many other options available. I am grateful that you've been watching my work for so long. This year I plan to many Love videos here on CZcams to be even more supportive to you all. Love, Britney 🩷🙏

Britney, I love your Course In Miracles teachings and have found them very helpful in my own practice. I'm not so sure what the issue is with the different versions. Jesus didn't text ACIM to Helen! If you read Absence from Felicity, it is clear that Helen's mental state was more than alittle confused and erratic and so she was likely an imperfect medium to present exactly what Jesus was transmitting through her. I've watched countless videos of Ken Wapnick and read most of his books and I truly believe he was channeling Jesus and the corrections the Foundation for Inner Peace edited was designed to create a clearer understanding of what the Course stood for than the UR text. I personally don't want to get lost in the minutea of which version is best. Taking the standard version along with Ken's Journey through the Text and Journey Through the Lessons feels for me the best approach to learning this. The ego mind always wants to divide and divide and divide everything into separate parts to keep us separated. Ultimately the Course is helping me and hopefully everyone understand the Oneness of the universe as a guide to find our way home.
Hey @greenmentch. I am grateful that my teachings have been helpful to you over the years.🙏 I have read Absence of Felicity extensively. Helen was not portrayed most accurately there. When you read Bill Thetfords comments on her scribing and early years (for which he was there for, Ken was not) Helen struggled with applying the course, but she did not struggle scribing it. Jesus calls her a nearly perfect scribe and He prepared her through dreams and revelatory experiences for 6 months before the material started coming forth.
Ken also claimed that the Foundation for Inner Peace version is 'substantially unchanged', yet when you actually do a comparative analysis, it actually shows that it is 'substantially changed'. If you would like to take a look at the versions side-by-side like I did... I have links above to videos that I did with Annie that you can watch if you're interested.
And simply speaking about the differences between the versions is not a divide, it's an honest look at the edited versions is all. In fact the goal of this documentary/ reasearch of the different versions is to unite our community... and to bring us together so we can lay down misperceptions and differences and really grow as a community together. So this documentary is going to heal and to bless not divide. But we really must look at the differences between versions to understand the history and why we have so many and why it's necessary that we have so many....
I'm glad you found value in Ken's work. There's definitely some value there. I've also found a lot of contradiction in what he teaches in comparison to what Jesus teaches us. But I do believe that everyone is called to the right and perfect teachers for them. And if you use FIP and that works for you then that is enough. Thank you for your comments here. @@MiraclesOfMind Thanks for your comments. As I said, I have total respect for what you're doing and the message you are conveying. My only concern is that Jesus says that words are but symbols of symbols. I know there are blogs, podcasts, websites, etc etc about whose ACIM is right. Yet the Course, at bottom, is really magic, a tool to keep us on the path and wake up from the dream. I have visions of the Sparkleys and the Sprinkleys and the FIP with their own banners and pom poms, our Course is better than your course! And we lose Jesus' content. Maybe I'm reading too much into this and thanks for your response. One day, when I can fit it in, I'll take up your suggestion and do a comparison. For now, I'm hoping to do a better job incorporating what I'm learning into my life. Take care and much love.
@@greenmentch You are so right. The words are symbols of symbols...but what the words point to is the Truth. So the Truth is sacred and should be represented the way it was originally intended. But yes yes I agree with that too, our community has a divide because people think one version is better than another and are against one version or another. This whole concept needs to be laid down as it's not true and not helpful. We should unite in shared purpose, vision and identity...as Jesus teaches us how to do...and Love each other unconditionally...which happens naturally when we do the work in the book. The holy spirit will direct us to the best book for Us, and we can trust him in that. I appreciate all the points you brought up here....as they are valid and exactly what we are moving through as a community 🙏 thank you for focusing on integrating what you are learning. That's the only thing we should focus on. I wouldn't be doing what I am doing with all this (research into versions etc) if it wasn't my part to play. Blessings to you xo

This is so helpful, thank you! I've only just started studying the Course, and I already have 3 different versions! Which version originally came as three different texts? (the text, the workbook, and the teacher's manual). I had a dream that I dissolved a "shapeshifter spirit" in between the pages of the largest of these three books while reciting the Lord's Prayer.

I really don't get all the negative comments about Ken's teachings. Obviously none of these versions are perfect. That being said, my advice is this: Ken Wapnick's FIP version is a sort of "orthodox" version which tried to remove the personal elements about the scribes while Robert Perry's CE version is the "reform" version where Robert made some adjustments based on his interpretations and included some of the personal elements from the scribes.

I just received my copy of the sparkly edition ordered from the Foundation, and even though it's after December 2022, mine looks like yours, and unfortunately I find it very hard to read because the pages are so thin that I can see the text from the other side of the page while I'm reading. That alone is making me stick with FIP for now, just because I find it so challenging to read the sparkly. Do you know if this will be updated soon in new versions? Thanks again!
Hello! Thanks for your comment. If you are finding the paper thin, I suggest taking an 81/2 by 11 paper and cutting it in half. You can then put that behind each paper as you read to make it easier. We've taken the thinner paper into account for next print run. Thanks so much...peace be with you

You know what's interesting, I am not sure who published the red book or which version they referenced when printing it. I do see online however that the Principles of Miracles at the beginning are shortened immensely, much like FIP, so it makes me think it's a reprint of FIP just with a different color and with Helen written as author ( but she is not the author). Thank you for bringing this to my awareness though... as I will do some more research into it and share anything that is relevant about it on my blog at miraclesofmind.ca 🙏
I am a bit shocked to hear that there is "at least 5 different A Course in Miracles". I did not know. I do not like most book changes, "editing" especially when the author is a sort of medium who presents the original book.
I was shocked too Chris when I first found out there were so many versions. That's why I dove so deeply into researching it these past 10 years. Going down that rabbit hole has been mind-blowing to discover the 'why'....and I feel honored and blessed that I will be able to share the full story with our community through the documentary. ..then miraculously and gently gently, last Christmas, CofA…. and then (last month!) Britney ‘appeared’, out of the blue - pun not intended (how PERFECT is the sun glistening off of the sea for the sparkly edition!!! Amazing!!), so to speak, with the Sparkly in tow!! 😊

Hey Maurya. CE has some references to the bible in the footnotes, and occasionally additional commentary from Robert Perry. It also has "Helens Notes" at the back of the book written as essays. If you are interested in Helens Notes, you can search for it on amazon and buy them separately. Otherwise yes, all of that is contained in the CE version, making it quite large and thorough.
