Come join us on our journey that we call the llama life. Were we worked the better part of a decade to save up enough money that we would quit our jobs and begin living our American dream. We will take you along on all of the good days and on some of the bad days. We will focus on different aspects of our llama life such as: what it takes to be a llama rancher and outfitter, different backcountry tips and tactics we have learned over the years, how to keep and take proper care of your llamas, the changing environment of working on public land and the preservation of public lands, raising a family in today's society and even some backcountry hunting and fishing. Well maybe a lot of hunting and fishing.

Got a llama a few weeks ago and I am determined to get her halter broke. She also needs to be shaved, but she is still somewhat skeptical of us. Thanks for the videos!! Hopefully now that I have found these we can make some progress!

I would imagine, imprinting with them right after birth is the best, as it would be with horses? Knowing it's ok from the beginning is probably that sweetest reward? Looks like, building trust is big with them too.
For sure. The faster they know you, the less scared they are, and the faster they can learn from you!

No haha I haven't ever been bitten! I have had them whip me with their head though.
