Hello Amanda! I'm the lady who bought your 2 journals in CA...I absolutely LOVE THEM! I also love your grocery bag journal and I've made several of those. I'm taking a break from journals to devote my time & energy to my little free library (I actually have 2 out front) so I'm busy visiting libraries and thrift shops and I'm thinking about using one of yours as a reading log/journal to help me remember ALL the books I read!!!! Great video!

Good ideas….i love looking at my junk journals….but currently I am doing a nature journal, so I am writing down different things I see and enjoy in nature….notations on the changes I’ve seen as the seasons change, animals I see, etc

Hello! I think what trips people up is the word "Junk" because it implies things with no value. I know Junk Journal is alliterative and meant to be a lighthearted name. They are made with recycled / found items but I don't like calling artwork junk. After you artfully put things together it is no longer junk or trash. I love to look at sketchbooks and see a drawing, a receipt or a personal note scribbled. It's a time capsule of their day. To get through a difficult time I poured out my feelings in journals then burned them. There is value to capturing memories forever or releasing them.
Can I have that first junk journal if your daughter isn’t going to use it?? 🤣😅No, seriously… may I have it!???😃 I’ll love it and take REALLY good care of it…🥴😜😇
