    Other fragrances that you guys said that they smell the same (I will update the list as we find more) :
    1. Rare Carbon by Afnan - Majd by Asdaaf (not Majd al Sultan) - Mirsaal of Trust by Afnan;
    2. Badee al Oud ( Oud for Glory) by Lataffa - Tharaa al Oud by Ard al Zaafaran;

      Is really Majd smelling like TF Ombre Leather? Because Rare Carbon is a copy for Ombre Leather. And eventho Tuscan Leather and Ombre Leather are somewhat similar, i'm looking for Ombre Leather clone. For Tuscan Leather there are a good dozen clones already. Rare Carbon is very hard to get, it's always not in stock anywhere.

    Omg I am so glad I watched this video ❤ I started testing middle eastern perfumes not long ago and felt in love with Sheikh al Shuyukh. The same time I found Raghba really terrible along with many others being to maskuline or too sweet. Now I gave it another try ordering the Sayad and the Safeer. And girl, they blew me a away. I wonder what is that one note I love so much in them and Sheikh. Is it the oud? The rose? It is warm and vibrant sweet but not sweet the same time, just so especially and elegant. I’m in heaven! appease which other perfumes do smell in that way?

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  Před 5 měsíci

      I am very happy to hear you enjoyed the video, thank you for watching my dear! 🤗🌹 Indeed, the DNA is so beautiful, I think it might be the combo between the warm rich rose slightly spices by the cinnamon with that caramel ambery base that gives this the fragrance lots of complexity and it makes it stand out, yet it manages to feel wearable. The ones I can think of that share some similarities with Sheikh al Shuyukh (besides Oud al Sayad & Safeer al Oud) are Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabians & Oud Mood by Lattafa, but I feel like the first two mentioned are more similar than the last two, but the last two could be considered cousins let's say cause they do share similar nuances. 💫

      @@user-kpkxgtj I would recommend you Rawaa by Al Haramain, it supposed to have coffe and vanilla, I don't pick up the coffe but I pick up the vanilla more. This one is a dupe for Good Girl by Carolina Herrera, if you like Black Opium and Good Girl you will love this one! ❤️ Performance is decent, not the best but if you spray it on your clothes it will last pretty well. A floral that I used to to enjoy a lot is Evoke Gold by Ajmal, very unique and the performance is really good on that one. If you like very sweet, sugary fruity sweet fragrances then Khaltaat al Arabia Royal Blends (the golden one) by Lattafa, and if you don't like extremely sweet fragrances, then a fruity one that I really enjoy is All You Need Is Passion by Armaf. None of them have that incensy oudy vibe, they're more western like. Look them up and see if any of them vibe with you 🤗

In July anoterh new EU customs regulation will be implemented, then you have to pay 16€ for every shipemnt plus customs :( There are many online shops in the EU that sell middle eastern perfumes, but those in Germany and other Western EU countries sell for 4-5x the price those perfumes cost in the middle east. I buy from eastern european shops because in those countries wages are the lowest in the EU and therefore prices for middle eastern perfumes are really inexpensive. Where I buy, shipping cost is 12€ within EU which is very cheap. I usually order a few perfumes, so shipping cost is set off completely. Thank you for watching! ❤️ Hmm this is a hard question, if you want a sweet light incense touch then Oud Mood, if you want a sweet caramel amber mix then Safeer al Oud. Personally between all those I enjoy the most Sheikh al Shuyukh Luxe by Lattafa, smells like Safeer al Oud but with an added cinnamon note. It's darker, less sweet and stronger than Oud Mood.

    Thank you. Between Oud Mood and Oud ak Sayad, which one do you think is easier for a man to pull off? Also, does one have more longevity than the other?

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  Před 2 lety +2

      Well, both are sweet but think of Oud al Sayad as the sweeter and darker version of Oud Mood. If you enjoy sweet unisex fragrances you could pull off both for sure 😊 I would say that if you want sweet a little bit fecal oud + caramel + amber go for Oud al Sayad, if you want rose + incense + a little bit of oud go for Oud Mood (this one is also more aery compared to Oud al Sayad). Performance wise, Oud Mood didn't perform very well on me but a lot of people in the comments said it performs well on them🤷🏻‍♀️ But on me Oud al Sayad lasts better than Oud Mood (- on my skin, on clothes they last a full day for sure). Hope it helped! Thank you for watching ❤

    Hi, L. Compared Oud Al Sayad to Sheikh Al Shuyukh, how does it smell? Which one has more middle eastern vibe?

    • @AFragrantGlance
      @AFragrantGlance  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi ❤️ So the main differences to my nose are that Oud al Sayad has oud (and you will smell the oud, it's not just there for the name) while I don't pick any oud in Sheikh al Shuyukh. The caramel note is heavier in Oud al Sayad, while Sheikh al Shuyukh is spicier, and heavier on the rose (I don't get rose from Oud al Sayad). Sheikh al Shuyukh is very heavy on cinnamon in the opening so keep that in mind. I would say that Oud al Sayad is caramely - a slight funky oud - and resinous, while Sheikh al Shuyukh is cinnamony - rosy - ambery - with caramel and patchouli touches, less sweet than Oud al Sayad. Hope it helped! Both have that middle eastern vibe, it just depends what you are looking for from the fragrance, but to me both are very beautiful

      Thank you for watching dear ❤ Unfortunately I don't know where you can find older batches of Shaghaf Oud. Oud Aswad is one of my favourites, I actually love to layer it with Shaghaf Oud and omgg it's a match made in heaven! If you enjoy the smell of incense and rose it's worth checking out Oud Aswad for sure. Also from Swiss Arabian I recommend you to look up Areej al Sheila, same scent family with Club de Nuit Intense for Women but way stronger, richer and complex. To my knowledge you can order sample packs from Swiss Arabian's US website, order some samples of these and test them it's always best this way. Both Oud Aswad and Areej al Sheila perform very well on me. Another one in the same family that smells dark, deep and opulent is Badiah Gold by Junaid, a fragrance I'm currently testing, it's a deep dark rich oud rose and patchouli scent, I think you can find samples for this one on Fragrance Arabia website, it's worth testing out. 💫
