This is an extended version of the theme of the movie « Red Sonja » (1985) composed by Ennio Morricone. This is the original music, extended by myself from the original soundtrack. It's not my best edit, this is more likely a "theme suite" but whatever... it was quite difficult to come up with and not really how I would have liked to do it but I hope you'll enjoy it nonetheless. What I consider to be the main theme is only popping once during the whole soundtrack (+25 seconds on the track called "Varna's Death), so that's the best I can do. Ho, and this track was being blocked by youtube (again!) so if you see this, it means it's been finally unblocked.

A fine example of a film considered so bad it's good. Yet the soundtrack is incredible and more than makes up for the cheesiness and considerable lack of a chainmail bikini.
Excellent music,Ennio Morricone did a very reputable work on this one....if only the script had the same amount of effort.

Hopefully the new Red Sonya will not only be better, but have a score as good as this one. That Morricone composed this score surprises me but then again, he was VERY prolific - 500 film and television scores from this guy alone! RIP Maestro Morricone.

I love how Arnold gets top billing but he’s barely in the movie.
In some countries (including the French speaking countries), the movie has even been renamed "Kalidor" instead... Arnold was more bankable that Brigitte Nielsen at the time...

Ah, interesting. I had the impression that the trumpets sounded brighter in the second half of the video.
@@alexany4619It's probably due to the source material available. If I remember well, I had to use various sources so it may sound a bit different from 1 source to the other.
