It looks like his 60th goal was just an easy tap in. It wasn't. He worked for that goal, not sure why they didn't show the whole replay🙄

The NHL channel showed the whole replay. You would think if it showed an NHL referee not doing his job correctly, they might not show it.
Buffalo had 6 pp in the game Toronto had 4.

As a Leafs fan, I love the grit they're showing over the last couple of months. It's what they'll need if they want to advance in the playoffs, particularly if they run into Florida in the first or second round.

Being dirty/turtling and cross checking is not tough. Laying the body, blocking shots, forechecking, dropping the gloves, grinding behind the net and in the corners are all forms of grit. Basically everything the leafs don’t do, good luck in the playoffs. ⛳️🏌️

@@trevorgoins5504 if that were the case we should be seeing misconducts flying left and right during games. It’s not applied evenly, and often penalizes players for refs not being able to handle a situation. It’s not like every player here got into a scrap. Most, like Matthews, were just holding someone back. If it weren’t late in the game with the game a forgone conclusion, this would have been a major and unfair impact.
There was a 56 seconds left in the 3rd with a 3-0 lead, did he want to be on for the final PowerPlay as well ?

How can the refs boot him from the game when all he was doing was holding a guy, possibly stopping things from getting more out of hand. It’s not like the refs did a lot to cool things down sooner. But as we have all been told Refs never make mistakes and when they do it’s not a bad call it just a call that you have to agree with. I liked it before when the refs screwed up you just told them they screwed up and moved on. That way next time they would try and even things up. But no more

Refs are so lazy. And it must be nice to have zero accountability in your job. You can skate around with a whistle doing nothing right and you still get paid and show up the next day.

Regarding professional teams the Leafs are real losers compared to the teams led by the list of previous stars of which AM is not a member.
