DIY Raspberry Trellis Installation: Easy for Beginners

How we put up sturdy trellis
And how to add wooden garren border
Raspberry is a biennial plant.
2 types:
1. June bearing - bear fruit on its 2nd yr during summer
2. Ever bearing - bear fruit in Fall on its first yr and un Summer on its 2nd yr.
When you get hundreds of FREE Raspberry plants and more in the raised bed, trellising is a must.
We transplanted the raspberries in one of our garden bed together with the free ones from the neighbor.
Materials and Tools used:
Auger
Border - Landscape Timber Cherrytone 8ft
Trellis Post - Pressure treated post 4x4 8 ft (actual size is smaller)
Screw eye 3/16x2 inch
Nicopress splicing sleeve
Tumbuckle Hook/Eye 3/8x7-3/4
Galvanized wire 100ft
Four Slot Crimping tool
High strength concrete mix
4x4 wood cap

Now early in June is about time the raspberries are ripe for eating. The raspberry bushes in my garden are just sprinkled with nice juicy berries.

Thing is all this isnt necessary. Raspberries grow well themselves.

They grow crazy, very windy here though, this way they stay up and we can control the area
