I absolutely love the emotion your voice has in this one. She fought so hard, and so long, to have this second chance with the love of her life, and she can't even bask in the warmth of having them back for a minute before the ice-cold feeling of, essentially, losing them all over again, shatters her from within. It looks like her beloved, sounds like her beloved, possibly even retains her beloved's quirks and mannerisms, but it is *not* her beloved at the moment. She has effectively been betrayed by her own passion: biology. And she was so fixated on just getting *this* far, she never even saw it coming, or at least chose not to give it due consideration. Until now.
But now she *has* to consider it, and that's the best part. Because she never let love twist into obsession. Does this hurt? Absolutely! Is she very likely hoping that, in the event they never remember, her beloved will come to lover her again? Oh, definitely. But she won't *force* it. She may have torn down the boundaries of life and death just to reach this point, but she has resolved not to do the same with her beloved's boundaries, and that is amazing.
Great job, Briar. Sorry if this got a bit rambly, but I just loved how this one sounded, so I went a bit nuts with my comment. Thanks again for the audio!

This... hurts. The way you have your character carry that heaviness of emotion in there voice. A weight of a whole year, of greif, pain and so much emotion. Trying not to put all of those 5 years back into her beloved is so hard. Briar, you gonna make me cry LOL this is extremely good. I would love to see more of this honestly, of hearing her trying to slowly, make them fall in love again. I would listen to so many episodes to get to that final moment, that single moment were it all finally clicks.
But of course, that's your choice briar, you're so freaking talented, fly you high

If, in real life, you lost the one you love, and you thought you might be able to bring them back, would you? Bear in mind that everything dies eventually. So you'd have too say goodbye again at some point. Brilliant work Briar.
*The girl who was on the table was once the heiress to a legacy of highly talented opera singers. She would sing for her when they were younger... But she died at the hands of those villagers who came bursting into their estate and murdered them all on suspicion of witchcraft and heresy. They shot the poor girl through the head, even going so far as to sew her mouth shut so she wouldn't have been able to cry out. She had not been well kept as she was buried in a coffin for a few years. As the good Doctor's experiment worked it's magic, her single eye would flutter open and she would let out a rasp.*
Losing someone hurts, but I guess having them back and not able to remember you burns. Like you are about to touch something and when you are so sure you will feel it boom! It vanished like smoke and you are as alone as you have neve been, empty and confused. Oh, and the guilt of bringing that person back for your own sake and understand that nothing will be the same. Happiness for a few seconds, then hope, and then sadness and pain.
Srry for putting a whole poetic moment, but in her voice you could feel all of this mixed emotions, is so good.
Scientist: "No... No this has to work"

My I have to say this emotion in this one really touched me in a way I thought wasn't possible with trying to bring back her love even to go so far to bring them back from the dead which she must really love them this much only to get so far as to we don't remember who they are as they can try to make us fall for them again is extraordinary and by far really touching it made me tear up a little
So I hope if you make a part two that she can hopefully get her love back 😢
