Devinci is launching their brand new E-Troy Lite, a lightweight Electric All Mountain Bike designed to offer an agile ride with solid assistance to extend your rides. With a Made-In-Canada aluminum frame fitted with Bosch’s Performance Line SX system, the E-Troy Lite hopes to offer the best of all worlds in the SL eBike category. We’ve had a very fun time out on the trails so far as we created this Tech Check feature on Devinci’s new light-assist eMTB.

Winner. Canada made, good geo and Bosch motor.
DeVinci Sparton is the first 29er I ever rode. It blew my mind on the stability, handing, comfort, big hitting personality. The only downside is I would buzz my rear or get sucked in by the rear tire on downhill which is scary as hell. I would have bought that bike in a split second if it would have come in mixed wheel.
I have a 30" inseam so a 29er is a no go on chunky downhill. I've been stuck with 27.5 until the mixed wheel. I love the combo.

From an over unbiased view on bikes, they all are very similar, on the socials looking @ bikes & reviews, content creators must be bored 🥴 I own 4 different bikes, 2 Cubes full suspension 1 is a eeb, a Commencal meta, & a Bird aris 9 & they are all similar in everything they do, the KEY factor now is rider skill set 😜

Can you guys confirm if the Bosch sx motor rattles/clunks while coasting over chunky trails?
There’s still a slight rattle, but it’s quieter than most

Devinci claims 44.5lbs for the size Medium in the GX build kit tested. We haven't verified this yet.
Now build a new E Spartan with the Bosch motor

Does it have a motor bash guard? Yes.
Has it broken in the first couple of rides? No.
Hope that qualifies us to review eBikes again.

@@TheLoamWolf Can it survive a log crossing? A big rock hit? As a Kenevo owner, you learn these things matter. The stock guard is $70 and will fail with a good hit.
When we put it through our long term test we will try to bash it into some stuff
Sounds great. What's the motor like pedalling when it's off?
Minimal resistance. Bike generally feels very manageable to pedal when it’s off.
