@@tnkyyy this song is really good btw
0:23 Very surprised you didn't mention supersaws considering every song you showed uses them for their melody
that's a really good point! idk why I missed that
lead goes crazy
I need more gothic hardcore stuff in my life, I was sad that I know most songs of all the artists you mentioned, I hope this video encourages someone to make more gothic hardcore music!
Actually one of the best tutorials I've seen on yt. Well explained while being not too long, or too short. Good structuring too, I like the tease that you include in the title panes for each section, which kinda lets you know what to expect, but also doesn't ruin the experience. You've definitely earned a sub from me and I look forward to your upcoming videos!
sounds great!! 😎
ohhh yeah something i wanna add is i notice in some hc ren songs they sorta "blue balls" the actual drop. i notice there are many mini drops/build ups that lead to each other and then finally lead to the real drop of the song
Thanks for including the plugins, wish every guy did this.
oh my god!!! been wanting a tutorial on this for ages, thanks!!
Looks like i'm adding this Genre to the list of things to try out now! Great tutorial!! 💀🤘
I need this omg! Thank you so much!
where has been this chanel my whole life? Grat work! keep it up my G
NEver heard this before but im interested , thank you for a such indepth tutorial .
Let’s goooooo finally! I always wanted to make Gothic Hardcore
This is pretty cool !
I love this. I've been a big fan of this style of music for awhile, even making a mix of it. Now I can get into making my own track which is something I've been wanting to do for awhile now. Thank you for the video!
Nice tutorial for one of my favorite genres.
The vital patch lead is also a live saver as I struggled with making a lead when trying to make my own music (it's perfect, just what i needed) 👍
Banger
Never heard of this Genre but it sounds dope
awesome!
Idk if this is a byproduct of mixing genres to fight boredom of modern music or AI excelling at more generic music so people have more incentive to be more creative than ever, and i certainly don't even listen to this type of music, but i am so happy that new generations of internet prods are still finding ways to make unique niche music. Definitely gonna learn and implement a lot of stuff i've seen from this channel and similar!
This style been out for a while but I guess now it finally has a name. they're really big in the rhythm game world.
nothin AI to do with it, its all human
flames!!!
Thank u fam ❤🙏
useful tutorial!
Sounds like something from Cytus.
thank you.
reconnaissance music? cool
Bro i love this sm, i need to make some artcore, classical hardcore stuff that would be awesome.
niceeee
Never heard of this Genre, but sounds nice and dope Video 😅
Definitely need a video on the topic of writing chords, I'm struggling 🥺🥺
Idk what is gothic hardcore supposed to be, but this sounds a lot like artcore tho, good content and really nice video
tysm !! ^^
this really does seem like an insane tutorial, but im to lazy to do it (i will still try)
good...
Yo this sounds fire my guy. Question, where did you get the drums for this song?
thanks !! I think the drums I used were from a sample pack called Vengeance Essential Clubsounds v4 ^^ you can def find it on google
any EDM/hardcore drums will work tho (e.g. KSHMR)
Can you give the flp for us to check out I wanna look deeper into this because omg this is amazing and drop a mp3 bro I wanna listen all day❤

Would it be possible for us to get the flp? I would like to study it in upmost detail :)
May I ask what Tubular Bells you're using?
Mostly I find those that had a obvious strike sound which makes it not so realistic
I used the tubular bells from FLEX, with Valhalla Supermassive on the 'Forward Reverb' preset. hope this helps :)
Thanks! Sorry but one last question -- is that the FLEX from FL Studio itself?
@@RitmoH Yes! I think it's a great plugin
@@tnkyyy it has really good strings and horns for being a stock plugin
how do yall come up with these melodies 😢

Amazing Tutorial. Can you recommend some drumkits? Preferably free? Thank you!
Hi there,
The vengeance drum packs are super good for this genre!! You can find the free downloads online by searching :0
Aethral also made a good free pack for hardcore www.toneden.io/aethral/post/aethral-hardcore-sample-pack-vol-1 you should definitely check it out!!
what chord progression is used for the intro and break, i really need it plz🙏🙏🙏
nice one. I'd love to a fulll, in-depth tutorial on how to make chord progressions like that. (STARTS at 1:16 - czcams.com/video/OOf2dX1TuIM/video.html)
what kind of pluck did you use for your build-up?
I used a preset called 'Synpluck Glass' in FLEX! It's under 'Mobile Synth Pluck'. Hope this helps :)
i cant seem to write chords that also fit with my melody for the intro
do you still plan to do a video on making chords?
yes! I'll release it in less than a month :)
you lied @@tnkyyy 😭
@@ba2electricboogaloo716 fr
Yo man! Can u make a list of all presets u used for the beat?
yea sure! do you mean the presets for the synths or the drums I used?
@@tnkyyy presets for the synths
what drums did you use?
hi !! i used drums from a few differnet packs but mostly KSHMR and Vengeance Clubsounds (you can find them online if you search..)
the drums are just edm drums mostly tho so most stuff will do :)
so what about teaching us how to write those chords now?
About the chords video... I mentioned a few videos ago that I would make a video on how I make chords... I have sat down to try and make the video but I haven't been able to come up with 'one trick' or an 'easy method' on making them... in reality, nothing can beat listening to music and understanding music theory (intervals, cadences, chords etc.). The videos I made gave an impression of restricting your creativity to specific chord progressions!
I can offer some tips however!...
1. Use chord extensions (7th, 9th)
2. Start with the bassline! A lot of songs in the genre use a similar bassline which uses chromatic steps and 2-5-1 movement
3. Study common chord progressions (4-5-3-6 and 4-5-6-3 are probably the most common)
A good exercise is just to copy the chord progression from a song you like; you can do this by listening for the bottom note, then checking if the chord sounds minor then major, then adding notes for extensions etc.
Hope this helps-
thanks so much!@@tnkyyy
analog lab gaming
(it destroys my ram and makes my projects take centuries to load)
bro I lit never use it before its so bad for the loading times 💀💀
Can i do this on fl studio mobile?
yes definitely !! most of the sounds are possible with MiniSynth as they are mostly simple (they are a sine sub bass, saw bass, detuned unison saw lead and supersaw stack as the main sounds alongside piano). I think you should be able to copy most the sounds :)
You can find some good drum sample packs online; I recommend searching for KSHMR and VENGEANCE sample packs :)
if you have any questions please feel free to ask !!
Great tutorial
But am I the only one who finds this heavily sidechained sound just too aggressive and chaotic? Especially when the melody does not match it rhythmically
Nice try, now make "normal" (non-gothic) hard renaissance like PUPA :D
i hate how everything is offset by 1/8 of a note in your playlist. why would you do this?
WAIT WHAT ;-; ;-; ;-;
I literally don't remember why this happened 😭
how do i start to learn the basics? all tutorials are so useless tbh
what in particular are you struggling with? :0
this video assumes you know how to use fl studio if that's what you're struggling with.. there are loads of videos explaining it if you need help!
@@tnkyyy i mean i do not even know how to use fl studio. And I struggle with understanding tutorials there are so many things I do not have in my application. Maybe I have to buy something for that…
