This is it. After contemplating on (not) posting it for ±4 months... I'm doing it.
In high school, I've always told myself that I wasn't a singer just because there were a couple other students who were way better than me.
I've ALWAYS been a perfectionist, especially when it comes to creative projects. I WANT to post an artwork or video, but it has to be PURRFECT. If not, then I'd cowardly not post it.
This morning, I thought to myself, "What's the purpose of posting content online?" and had a realization.
It's NOT to show others that I'm better.
It's NOT to show them that I can draw/sing/act/whatever.
It's not about my capability, but rather my simple love for doing them.
I LOVE to draw. I LOVE to vlog. I LOVE to sing and play the uke. So? That's an ENOUGH reason for me to post this very first cover!
I don't have to be an experienced singer with a professional microphone, camera, music editing, remixing, harmony, etc.
I just simply want to show the world my love for singing, uke-ing, and Budi Doremi songs.
I believe that's enough reason for me to express.
Yes, to express, and not impress.
