While I was still in school twice a week I used to go to a school for disabled children. we had so much fun. There was a few down syndrome children there and there some of the kindest people you will ever meet. That is discusting. The teachers should have stepped in. Thats one thing in this world that I hate. Any body taking the Micky out of anybody with a disability. If I see any cruelty I'm not afraid to step in. Anybody that's cruel to others should be ashamed of there selves. And one day it might turn for them and get the Micky taken out of them. and see how they feel then. And I wouldn't have no simpathy for them what so ever. you know what they say. What goes around comes around. from 🇬🇧👍 an old cockney gal

As nice as the gesture of the girl giving the puck to the small boy was, his mother should have known better than to accept. It was her birthday and it was more special to that 12yr old girl than it was to a toddler who didn’t even know where he was.

But not everyone wants your help. I offered to wheel an older lady's trolley to her car and she got aggressive and told me to rack off. She wanted to do it herself. But I have helped others who were grateful for me stepping in. Don't stop wanting to help though. Keep offering. You may be in the same situation yourself one day.
Some people with SpEd needs get offended when they think others are infantalizing them, especially older folks who remember their healthier times and having a hard time accepting they are entering into an almost 2nd childhood. Independence means a lot. Don't let it bother you.
@@squarebear619 Yes I get that and I don't really let it bother me. I know how hard it is to admit you are getting older and that your younger days are behind you and that things are harder to do. But as I said, if I see someone who I think needs help, I will still offer.
