Thank you for being so real! Homeschooling with a newborn and a toddler is not for the faint of heart!
❤ glad to hear I’m not the only one that feels like this
I’ve been scouting for information and genuinely appreciate your advice. It’s nerve wracking worrying how to do all of this! Thank you!
I’m legit sending you virtual hugs bc girllll wren I tell you I needed to hear this the timing was perfect for me thank you ❤
Thank you so much for this video. I just gave birth to my 4th 6 weeks ago and my oldest is 5. While still in the early years of homeschooling, I am really trying to keep a routine so we have good habits before the years when it really counts. My oldest is also a super eager learner, reading Little House on her own, so I want to embrace her love of learning. In my head it seems like an hour or so of school a day with my kindergartener and preschooler should be doable, but everything is harder to get done right now. I can tend to be hard on myself at the end of each day thinking about what we didn't get done. Your reverse to do list is huge for me! I cannot tell you what a blessing your video was, not just as it pertains to homeschooling, but also life with little ones while trying to keep a home running. I cried a couple times. Okay, I am probably still hormonal! I just wanted to give you a very hearty thank you for encouraging me to embrace a gentler rhythm for this season.
Oh my this made my day! I’m so glad this video helped and was encouraging. I will be praying for your sweet family this morning.
Well said.!
This is such a great video. Love how practical it is!
You are so real...Woooow I agree with your first 4 minutes.SO SO TRUE! It is just too much and so fake coming from someone like myself who is a clean freak, an organized mom,a homeschooling mom of kids under the age of 10 with a baby and a crazy house right now! I like your msg a lot and I appreciated your honesty. Moms need to recover not to PRETEND she feels good by making her green smoothie or the other side (cereal in bed all day!!). I also do not like a written schedule of the day. I block our time and I give myself 2 to 3 tasks a day max when I KNOW I can accomplish 6. Which I do and that makes me feel way better at the end of the day and very accomplished with the help of God. I like your points and will use some soon. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind comment!
Best video on the subject I've seen so far. Going to be homeschooling kindergarten with a 3 yr old and 4 month old in tow. 😳
Thank you so much for this. I have 6 kids ages 12,10,8,5,2 and 3 months and we are starting homeschooling this year. I have binged watched some of your videos and found them so much more helpful than others I've seen but this one in particular just hit home. Thank you for reminding me that it's ok if I'm not super mom everyday.
Oh wow mama - You are in the thick of it! Thank you so much for watching! Slow down and snuggle those babes today 🤗
This was so super helpful for me! Thank you so much for the REALISTIC advice! You’re awesome!
Aww I’m so glad it helped 😊 thanks for watching!
Love this! Will be watching in 8 more months when baby #2 comes. My daughter just started 1st grade and there are many things she can do on her own. She will be very helpful. ♥️
Aw congrats on baby 🎉 how exciting!
Thank you for making this video. I’ll be having my 5th baby this July and all these tips were helpful and hopeful 😊.
Congratulations!
expecting baby #4 and this is by far the most real and honest tips!
Aw thanks so much!
This was so helpful and encouraging. Our 3rd is due at the end of August. She was totally unplanned as I will be 46 when she is born and my two boys will be 10 and almost 8. I have been trying to figure out not only what curriculum we will use next fall but also how it will all look. This gave me some great ideas like asking a friend to take the older 2 one day a week and hiring a cleaning service. I function so much better when my house is tidy and clean! We already do meal delivery service and grocery pick up. And since Covid, staying home is not a problem. I finally feel like it won't be as overwhelming as I thought. Thank you.
Aw thanks so much for this sweet comment! And congrats on baby girl 💕
Unfortunately, my newborns didn’t sleep through the night until about 1 year.
I’m right there with ya! My babies don’t sleep through the night until they wean.
