1956, I was 12 years old on a warm summer day staying with my aunt outside Adelaide during school holidays when a long cream Caddie drove by the house where I was doing wheelies on a bike I'd won in a kid's radio show competition driven by two very familiar blokes, the Le Garde Twins. I quickly pelted after them following the car for a number of blokes turning into a side street. Took me a bit to catch up to the Caddie parked outside a house where I waited awhile until finally the twins came out with some folk appeared to be relatives. Approaching their car they saw me hovering on my bike, somehow I managed to get out a few stuttering words gob smacked I was meeting the famous duo. Friendly, both shaking my hand, they get into the Caddie, did a U-turn back along the street their relatives waving. A lasting memory.

LOTS of TRUE talent here!
It was Don Winters and Bob Sykes who sang with Marty Robbins on the above video.
Now is the hour is a NZ Māori farewell song. Nice to hear the Legarde twins from Australia. I’d never heard of Ted and Tom.
Ilove the song i dream about mama because i did the same for my children and grand children too.
Love watching these old shows!! Love Marty! Wonder what year this was.
19:30 is hilarious!

Who are the 2 singers always at the end of the show with Marty?
