I was 16 when second intifada started.. bus ride became traumatic reality, not knowing if you will be blown to pieces. there is almost no one in Israel that didn't loose someone or knew someone that did. calling these protests peaceful is a joke.

A good question. I know that in the uk many are refusing to pay the BBC licence fee (which is deducted automatically from your tax payments or something like that). Over time maybe the television will lose ground to the internet and then the viewer can comment etc, which might help.

Yeah, that's not really the issue as there are plenty of families here in the U.S. that have 30 or more members. Say a couple have 3 kids. So that's 5. Then those kids grow up, have a partner, that's 8. The now 3 couples each have 3 kids. Now that's 14. And lets say the original couple had brothers and sisters. And they had partners and kids.
So, it's pretty easy to have 30 or more people in a family.
