That intro slapped so hard I almost drove off the road. You two need to make an album together.
What Pijanoo said! 🎉
Thank you for that intro.... The best thing I've heard all year
As a guitar player of 20 years, I have just started my piano journey because of the content you guys release. Your amazing teaching and explanation make what seemed complex and out of reach much more achievable. I can’t thank you guys enough for being such inspiring individuals!
That intro would make a great track !
Yep it may make some footprints…
The song is called "footprints", check it out
@@phmfthacim OK thanks
Love the way you guys just smash out that intro like it’s nothing😂 Total legends✌️
Best intro yet guys holy shit!
This made me really appreciate the OG Footprints changes, Peter has a really good video on open studio explaining how to play the tune
This is the best show on TV !!!
I'm sure someone saw Peter coming when they told him about the UK celebrating Xmas Eve Eve 🤣
Ready for that duo record! Thanks gentlemen - Happy New Year!
That intro ... McCoy Guaraldi?!? I could listen to you guys play every day ... thank you!
Awesome arrangement and great way to start the new year! Deepest thanks and wishing you all a Happy New Year!
Very Nice! Great start to the day/year!

I'm having breakfast in a diner and start this episode.
Such a great start of the day!
I play guitar and trumpet and I "use" piano for study. Love your show.
This one is gold thank you
Just found you guys this week and your aready changing my life. Got Adam's course Genius Chord Warmups..fantastic. A lot to take in but already getting somewhere.
This video tutorial just moved to the top of my study list. Thanks teachers!!!
Happy New Year you guys! Great way to start off 2024, so thank you both!😁✌👌👍💥❤🔥
That was great!!
beautiful opening
The original composition in the beginning by Adam Maness is one of the best things I’ve heard this year.
Agreed. With a little help from Wayne Shorter.
All 18 hours of it?
Not only are you teaching me, you're teaching the algorithm!
After watching this I was recommend a video analysing Stevie's "Too High" which they showed the first melody is 6 different chords all Maj7b5's over an E in the bass.
❤happy new tear i love the jam guys
That was sweet. TY! Hey from the Santa Cruz Mountains!
Thank you this seems super useful. Super tasty intro
This is like the equivalent of the classic punk rock poster “here’s 4 chords, start a band”
that intro is a lesson in itself, goddamn
BONUS BONUS!! Cm6/Eb = Eb6#11 (This is the first inversion of the Cm6)
You should do this, inclusive your lovely intro music, live on stage, in exactly this setting, sound and coolness. 👏👏
Serendipity.. I've been trying to learn Footprints for a while but have been struggling with improv ideas. Thanks for the info!
I can make 5 meals from 1 chicken. It's actually easy - you just wait til she lays 5 meals worth of eggs. That was a fun song, and there isn't really a good copy on youtube. You'd think a classic space aliens visitation song (5 Meals From 1 Chicken) would trend on this fine platform, but there were a couple kinda crappy TBH live versions, and that's it. Hardly a feast.
I like 6th chords too, especially guitar voicings like the Django swing people use. It's got a vibe.
The most high intro 🙏
Happy new year guys🥳❤️
Adam and Peter use examples from the masters. I think too that they are Masters of their craft too. No better on YT or elsewhere !
Half a day into the year and I’ve already got a month’s worth of homework ahead of me. Are there any open studio practice sessions that delve into this?
You can find even more if you keep exploring options. Consider sus with b9: you simply do a minor 6 chord built on the flat 7 of your actual chord, instead of a major 6 chord. So key of C would be F minor 6 with a G in the bass.
I am convinced you can find every known (played) sound within this system, thus making it easier it integrate into playing.
The more Barry Harris content the better! Great stuff, guys.
Neither! Sluhv-enly. Haha anyway happy New Year, loved the intro
Barry is the man
🤯
"Footprints"?
