Hi , thank you well!!!!! A professionnal took me 400 euros in France to repair it. After 6 months same problem : black screen!! I used your video and it worked again without changing the new ribbon. I cleaned it till the brown surface which is only burnt plastic , disapeared. And it works as the first day!!! Professionnals are authorized thieves!! Thanks a thousand times!! Franky

it could be, but you have to check before replacing it! unplug the flat flex and try the stereo, if the screen is black that's always the problem!
