Personally I do not like the 3.9,it has given us endless trouble and is super heavy on petrol, we have another 5.7 Ford v8 and it uses half the fuel for almost double the capacity engine..... But each to his own and a Landover is something you need a passion for, well done this is good!

En nuestros países hacen falta vehículos con caja reductora, que sean de segmentos no tradicionales, vehículos 4x2 con reductoras realmente lentas que multipliquen la fuerza 6:1, Bloqueo diferencial, o de diferenciales, freno independiente a cada rueda tractora (control de tracción manual que permita frenar manualmente la rueda que patine) Un mando manual para arranque en cuestas: para atrás, frenar, para adelante soltar freno, para la derecha acelerar, para la izquierda desacelerar, de tal manera que sea posible soltar freno y acelerar de manera totalmente controlada, También acelerar el motor con el freno accionado. Falta espacio interior, puertas menos anchas. Hace falta que tengan una última marcha muy larga para ahorrar combustible. Hacen falta carros de reparar, con repuestos compatibles entre varios vehículos de la misma marca y con otras marcas, que requieran pocas herramientas especializadas y que las pocas que se requieran sean las mismas para otros vehículos más abundantes, Hace falta que los manuales de despiece y de mantenimiento estén disponibles de manera gratuita para el gran público, ¿Porque 4x2 con bajo? Porque hay muchos tramos de vías que siguen siendo y seguirán siendo inclinadas, muy inclinadas. ¿Por qué 4x4 con bajo lento? Porque la legislación es muy abusiva, absurda y hostil la cual penaliza a los vehículos 4x4 o más con seguros más costosos, las cilindradas más altas tampoco no es una buena opción pues el consumo es muy alto y la contaminación ambiental aumenta. Es injusto, es realmente abusivo que ciertos fabricantes hagan valer tanto dinero sus carros por el hecho de tener por ejemplo bloqueo diferencial, cuando el kit completo de bloqueo diferencial ARB tampoco no es tan costoso. Si los fabricantes quieren sobrevivir y salir de la crisis, que ofrezcan carros más útiles y que escuchen más a los compradores, futuros compradores, aficionados a la marca y mecánicos, que abran canales FÀCILES para recoger las opiniones de la LA GENTE que al fin van a ser quienes compren, escuchando a la gente se van a ahorrar billones y van a ganar muchos billones mucho más rápido. ¿Cómo van a saber qué es lo que el cliente quiere y necesita si NO LO ESCUCHAN? ¿Cómo van a mejorar las ventas si no ofrecen lo que el cliente quiere? ¿Cómo van a sobrevivir a la crisis si hay miles que fabricantes ofreciendo exactamente los mismos MALOS productos? The Puma 2198cc TDCi engine produces more torque at low rpm at about 360N.m/1600rpm, more than this 3.9V8 can churn out and consumes less fuel. . Well the V8 can boast the noise and speed I guess on highway

just destroyed 2 good looking Defender thats not what you call a project make it using just one defender its ok to swipe engine but this was destruction of nice one

It took the guy around four years to do this but a very large part of that was because it was filmed in 'stop-motion' !!! Even down to the welding, drilling, filing and swarf removal!
