The monstera is a CLIMBER/CREEPER. It has a front and a back. You’ll notice that the leaves sprout from one side of the stem and the aerial roots from the back, so that’s how you can figure out how to place it. The aerial roots will eventually latch onto the moss stick. Make sure you water the MOSS STICK as well cos that’s how the aerial roots will be able to absorb water and your plant will thrive beautifully!

That dandiya are aieral roots and it's look ugly but they are sign that ur plant is healthy and happy. Spray water on them regularly so they will absorb moisture and ur plant will have big leaves. Also if you don't want aerial roots you can cut them but ur plant will remain small.
