- I gotta thank everyone in the last video who were very supportive of me despite my extreme negativity towards this situation that haunted me for nearly 15 years. Spent only like an hour getting some rust off and somehow managed to beat my demons that have tormented me all this time. Thank you for the comments and watching!
Used Sakuya Type A like the basic biiiitch I am for this since she's the easiest one to use and I'm just more used to her movement.

Nice man, this is the best character arc I've ever gotten recommended. I beat this with Reimu B a few months ago and Yukaris survival spellcard is still one of the hardest ones for me. Only one I've found harder due to hard it is to predict was the first survival one on Suwako in 10.

Congrats. The secret, as clichéd as it might sound, is to never give up, NO MATTER how devastating the defeat. I'm doing the touhou pilgrimage mysefl rn and i also got my fair share of absolutely devastating defeats. But i carry on and am currently beginning touhou 12. Good luck to you if you ever try to beat the other 2hus!
Nice! So far I've beaten 7 and 8's extra modes (I even have a video here for 8!) and have almost gotten Suwako down since Marisa glitch go brrrrrrrr.
What's given you the most trouble so far?
@@herosguildgames So far, it was undoubtely Flandre. Took me ages to defeat her.
It might be a mix of EoSD own difficulty, me playing it without Vpatch at the Time, and being the first touhou i've ever played, since i'm playing in chronological order. Also, i probably didn't know how to use thprac properly back then 😅.
I'm planning to go back to defeat her once again once i'm finished with touhou 19. Finish my pilgrimage by beating my worst trauma again with the skills earned from the journey kinda deal 😁
@@BLITURAWJOMZ I hate that Vpatch is mandatory for most of the windows games before like, 13. Or just the random lack of consistent framerate when I play unless I unplug my mouse.

It is true really, that if you can get a pace, you can get it again. Maybe I'm talking from a kind of high horse where it's easy for me to speak, since I've played these games so much, but especially when you start going for higher level runs (No Bombs and such) you really learn to take every run with some amount of detachment, since so many of them go nowhere.
I put so much pressure on myself to do well at stuff like this that failure, especially my last time getting anywhere near this far, just stresses me out to no end, even if I tried going in with a "well lets just see how far we can get" mentality. It was also frustrating with just how much of a time sink you can put into a run only to have to redo everything from the beginning like a screwed up rougelike of sorts.

It really did. It might seem like I'm overexaggerating a bit, but I was comparing my skills to screwing this up for a very VERY long time. Every time I messed up a 1cc of a new game I was always telling myself "See look, you're garbage at this, even in something easy" and it really affected my mental state.

Well done! SakuyaA is a pretty great choice for this stage in my opinion, lots of patterns become easier to manage with her homing.
Sakuya A kinda makes this game feel like easy mode at times due to her insane homing/power compared to someone like Reimu's homing. I guess that's where Yukari learned her Ran abuse, er, homing technique for the next game lol

Kiiiiiiind of, but it's not really a safe spot. It's more that by leading Yukari to one side of the screen and keeping her there (bosses typically follow you when moving around), you can make the bullets more predictable, and if you're lucky, you get a safespot.
I kinda remember seeing a video showing off the potential safe spot years ago. I think one guy had to die to trigger it lmao
