STRAIGHT FROM HEAVEN! Thanks LT for the ideas on how to build a skillbuild. I have been collecting a lot of Tactician pieces and have enough to begin the build. What really got me interested in the Tactician build outside of my Lonestar was when I ran The Russian Consulate on challenging with two skill builds. A mission like the Russian Consulate which is usually a hard grind and frustrating was finished in minutes. I am quite sure having one or two skill builders in the Stolen signal incursion is mandatory at this point.
Thanks for the comment James! You can also pair this build with an LMG like the Pakhan. (which I did not show in the video). A stable LMG would work well with this build as most of the time, you will not have the necessary Firearms and Stamina requirements to unlock the first two weapon talents. However, since LMGs have high headshot damage multipliers and huge ammo counts, you can lay down a lot of fire while making sure to aim for the head.

This video helped me greatly. I had something similar to this already build but wasn't happy with the results. After some tweets I was finally able to solo this yesterday and got the Urban MDR on my fifth run through. The UMDR is going to take some getting use to but my M4 works like a champ. Great build! Nice build man. That MDR action worked better than I thought. Trying to do weapon damage with that low toughness usually gets you melted. Guess the poky style of the MDR does ok, and the range is nice. Really need to drop that SASG for a 163-204 GS AR with Destructive a Ferocious on it. I run two weapons for my glass nuker build. One with Talented / predatory and the other with Destructive / Ferocious. Get a kill with the talented gun to proc talent then switch. The added EAD and DTE really adds up. The damage range of a 204 LVOA is still nothing to scoff at. Running 50 % skill haste really helps with the seeker cooldowns. Good job on the build. Its good to see you still making Division content.
I have heard of that exploit of using the 204 Gear Score weapon to to proc the weapon talents through much lower Firearms and Stamina requirements. Just wanted to try it with no "extras" if you know what I mean. Thanks for the comment!
Exploit? The lower gear score weapon is weaker. You have to take this con to get the talents active. Like your video!
Want something fun to try? Roll a 182 GS Liberator if you have the Legacy Pat. Look for Destructive Ferocious, predatory on the Liberator and roll talented on a 256 centurion. Switch to centurion, drop turret and wait for the kill. The kill will proc talented and the rate of fire buff from the centurion. Switch to the liberator and let loose. With the RoF buff and 5% RoF on a Mag you can easily get upward of the 1000rpm range on the liberator, feels like Tac-Link light. Works well for bursting down NPC's and it stacks Tac 4pc almost instantly.

this is my build I've used since 1.6 . I use a m4 AR and m44 sniper . with talented determined and competent on both. it melts and is a big help to team mates in incursions as I can change around skills . turrets with turret gear mods are just mental way better than seekers .

Glad to help. With that much Skill Power, as long as you aren't out in the open and taking too much damage, you can melt most NPCs before they know what hit them! ;)
I used this build with a relentless backpack and the turret heals me. It's so good. You just have to stay back and let your skills do the work.

this is almost my exact buil but i just have an etra 14% damage to elites and enemy armour damage on mask and knees, i also use the backpack where i healing from skill damage as the 450000 dimisishing returns on skill power is hit without the extra 15% needed. keep up the good work lightbeer

You are very welcome Jeremy and glad to help. Since 1.6 and 1.6.1 are Skill Power "Metas", we need to embrace it and take advantage of all of that Skill Power. I like to mix up this build and shoot quite a bit while my turret and mines are getting after the NPCs.

Thank you Willie. I would recommend you not try to go that insane with the skill power. 350k to 425K will be just fine and you can invest more into unlocking weapon talents like Destructive and Ferocious.

I wanted to mention "Tech Support" is a wasted slot, unless you really want your turret to stay in the exact same spot during waves of enemies. You would get more utility out of One is None or nearly any other talent as you can see in your own video your skill power and haste is so much that your next turret is ready way before the cool down would ever happen. HTH

I did one very similar. The Warren Legendary is almost easy with this build. I used a massive sticky bomb and Seeker Mines to melt the NPCs easy. In Napalm, Sticky and Pulse Turret. And in Times Square the Pulse Turret and Seeker Mines. Sometimes I use barrett and sometimes the Vigorous. I'm not sure which one is better yet. All the best bro.

been using this build since tactician came out. I use relentless bag so that I can carry turrent n switch between seeker n sticky bomb. for gun talents I have talented , commanding n competent rolls. talented stacks up damage while giving me health and commanding extends the duration for skills with each kill. it's an awesome build 😎

I built one of these and its a complete beast. I solo'd Lexington on challenging like it was on easy. I teamed up with my friend who was rolling with a firecrest build and we destroyed everything we tried. You have some great build videos here thank you for the great content. - uplay - thundershots

Update 1.6 and 1.6.1 (really the same thing) are a Skill Power Meta, so embrace the build type and you will really get a feel for how strong it now is.

Just a tip, use a low gear second or side weapon (gear score 163 or lower) to unlock more talents to prock on kill✌️

Great build guide and solo run! It is very similar to my skill build except that I use the Vigorous Chest to get overheal because I am mostly out of cover.
However, it is clear to me why you are using the Barret’s Bulletproof Vest, extra 10% increase in skill power boost the seeker mine damage a great deal.

I use a similar TAC build with three differences: (1) Use 3% Skill Haste mods over Skill Power; (2) Use a mix of 4% Seeker Mine Damage and 7.5% Seeker Mine Range performance mods; (3) Utilize 204 weapons instead of 256 to unlock more talents than just Talented (ie Destructive, Ferocious, Determined, Sustained, Competent).
I've heard of that trick to use the lower g.s. weapons to activate the weapon talents. I've since crafted 4 or 5 3% skill haste mods to speed up the cooldowns and I was thinking about using the extra seeker mine range mods, but chose the 4% damage mods instead. Thanks for the feedback and comments!
I love the build, I have one similar, I was looking at the video to optimize mine, for the weapon tho, I have also the Talen that give me 7.50% CDR when killing an enemy as my passive talent (different weapon obviously), with that I can spam my abilties 24/7, I can get similar skill power but im missing skill haste, thx for the vid, keep the good job
That weapon talent is Determined. I have it on my Electra Bridge Skill Power build and it is extremely underrated.
Yeah, I love that talent, btw thx to your vid I learned that I don't need my weapon to be 256, I got a 202 I think, not sure about the exact score, but it has the right talents making my build a lot stronger, thank you for your vid.
Awesome build! Maybe look for damage to elites on your knee pads and a ferocious talent rolled on your weapon. That's what I use for my PVE buil

Thanks. I'm 40k below you in SP, but at least i know it's now feasible to do it, though my perf enhancements are primarily to turret dmg. Only just got barrets vest so will be guinea pigging my setup.
Keep at it and you will really appreciate how destructive this kit is once fully assembled!
I can solo Legendary missions with a build similar to this but I spam haste like crazy on the gear. A decent D3-FNC build would work as well since it's what I started using to clear these challenging missions.
I will begin to attempt Legendary Solo tomorrow.

Matthew DeRosa high value targets and Legendary bosses drops set pieces with very Nice numbers, with Legendary also u can get The MDR and barret's vest

Richard, little known fact, but watch on my screen when I am not firing the MDR. If the turret kills an enemy, you will see the Talented weapon symbol activate!
I use a similar build but focus on skill haste (48%) to reduce cooldowns. Pro-Tip: get yourself a GS182 weapon with Talented, Predatory and Determined (I got a sawed off shotgun), ditch the Barret Chest for a Robust/Reckless chest for the extra damage/armor (since you'll be in cover most of the time during fights). Thank me later :)
Thanks for the pro tips Mister Y. I posted another skill build video yesterday to my channel with an Alpha Bridge gear set. It allows me to run fairly high skill power and unlock Ferocious, Destructive, Determined and Talented with the lower gear score trick. Check it out and let me know what you think! I am in the process of making my final alterations to tackle Legendary Difficulty on solo and am currently sourcing the Robust and Reckless pieces.
There is currently a recipe for electronics chest at the vendor you can get for 900+ phoenix. You can craft your own rather than farm it (provided you have the mats). Other than that, I managed to solo Times Square on legendary TWICE with the build I mentioned above. Your AlphaBridge build sounds great and has amazing potential, but I developed a rather complicated relationship with that set since it came out :D

my haste is maxed out with 400k base skill power my toughness is a little lower however. nice build!

Very nice video, thank you! This surely looks like an amazing build! I was able to get through this mission solo with a high firearm build - it takes a great deal of effort each time. I am definitely going to give it a try. Without an Urban MDR, what weapons/talents do you recommend?
Without an MDR, look for a heavy base damage AR like the AK or even a decent M4 with at least the Talented weapon talent. Destructive would also be a plus if you have the necessary stats to unlock. A quality LMG like the Pakhan would also work well as LMGs have high headshot damage multipliers.
I tried the build - it was extremely fun to play! Using an M1A with Talent on the third slot worked as well. Do weapon talents help while turret and seeker mines are deployed? I have several pieces with Ferocious on the third slot and wondering whether it helps at all in this build.
Yes, it would activate while using the turret. Ideally, you want to have Destructive, Ferocious and Talented.
Finally I got my Urban MDR from Lexington - couldn't have done it without this build. Took about 4-5 runs and under just 2 hours.
This is probably stupidly outdated, but thanks for the concept. I'll see what I have in my gear instead of running straight self-heal and sticky grenade w/ focusing on my gun damage, this looks pretty fun, if not way lower effort.

but tbh i think a vigorous chest would be much much better and also try to put skill haste insted if skill power and try to get the talent ferocious on your SASG it really help

I do this same build but with relentless backpack and an Vigorous vest. Can't remember but I'm pretty much overhealed most the time because of the Relentless backpack. You gave me an idea on running less skill haste. I Max mine at 50. Probably should stay at a sweet spot of 36-40 then run skillpower mods. I will run 1 stamina piece to unlock destructive for the 15% extra armor damage on my Talented destructive mdr. Your build is awesome though. Barrets imo doesn't seem like it's good for tactician. Skills are always cooling down.
Thanks for the comment! I would recommend you don't try for max skill haste as having that much skill power will instantly give you lower skill cooldowns. Barrett's works a bit better for me as I like to shoot quite a bit while my skills are doing there thing. Once I have 2 skills on cooldown, I get the extra armor bonus.

nice build it works well no barret for me so my skill power is a little less but I used the flame turret for status effect with the seeker. what do you think about that
Lots of different ways to "tweak" this build. If you like the flame turret, try FireCrest with high skill power and watch how crazy it goes on the NPCs!

They are quite effective in PvE and I do recommend you try them out.
Just finished the build up tonight and so far I'm loving it, is this build reliable in incursions and heroic difficulty in your opinion Buzz?
Matthew, glad you are liking this build and to answer your question...it is a huge 'YES!" You can move the skills around a bit depending on what you want (seeker mines, sticky bomb, turret), but using this build with a few tweaks, you can solo Legendary Difficulty Missions.
I've been playing with the Melting Machine build for a day and I love it.
I wonder how this build compare to the Electra Bridge?
Both will kill NPCs fairly quickly but the Electra Bridge makes much more use of your primary weapon than the Melting Machine.

It will work with Ninjabike Messenger Bag, but Inventive is more effective for the extra skill power at full health.
Great Build...you can easily down a little bit of Skillpower...enemy armor damage on your mask...DTE on your knees...purple mods with DTE and a 204 AR with vicious,talented and Destructive...yes...you lose a little bit skillpower but with 55% EAD and 50% DTE you really shred everthing with your turret and seekers 😎 I use a 204 AK 47 with destructive,vicous and predatory...predatory will activate too with your skills so you are healthy every time.
I never really messed around with Purple gear mods, but I recently purchased a bunch with firearms and 3% DTE and will be trying them out on future PvE builds.

very nice build what is a good replacement for the mdr as I don't have one.
I have also used a Police M4 (any M4 can work or something like the AK that has heavy base damage). Make sure you have Talented unlocked and if possible Destructive.
What about using the incendiary seekers and add the fire talent as well as the bleed. would that make any difference?
If I am not mistaken, bleed is only applied for explosions from the cluster and fire from the airburst.
Amazing build! Don't know what skill up was talking about diminishing returns starts at 450k he doesn't know what he's talking about!
They do start at 450K, but you will still get some results with higher skill power than that. I just didn't give a damn, and went for full on nuke mode! ;)

Richard, yes the one skill on cooldown will activate as soon as that skill begins its cool down period.

They both are pretty strong. The Melting Machine uses a lot less shooting and more skill spam versus the Electra Bridge which is more like 50/50.

it would be faster to concentrate on maxing out the xp points and incorporate accomplished kneed pads to get the caches if you are trying to get mdr to drop but u might need a friend or two

This is something I'll think about. But a lot of this hinges on the MDR. Without it, it makes things more difficult. I'll be sure to collecting those things.
I like the MDR for this build, but I also have a Police M4 with Talented and Competent that I use with it as well.
Lt Buzz Litebeer It also depends on your play style. I prefer to use sniper rifles and hang back while delivering support. But with the MDR, you can do the same thing. And about the M4, I can't help but be an AK nut.
For this build, if I wasn't using the MDR, I would instantly look to an AK or SCAR-L for the heavy base damage even without weapon talents!
The AKM in game would be really good for that. It has a lower damage start than some ak's but they're easier to control and are really nice to work with. Funny that those models are hard to find.
this build is ace the ONLY build i've found where you use your guns too, as a solo player any tips on getting this gear faster? i do the daily/weekly hvt, underground, pve missions, all this in world tier 5 and im 256 gear but its just random pieces atm, or is what i'm doing currently correct? liked and subbed too ^_^
That really is the best way to get the gear. I would also farm the open world bosses and hit the DZ for quick loot! Thank you for the comment! :)
i'm so thick i can't work out what i'm doing wrong lol does barretts make that much of a difference? even with my mediocre build though trying to get to what you have here its cut my hvt weekly/daily and mission time by so much its crazy and i'm only 3/4 done with the build, currently though i'm sitting around 366 skill power 224 toughness and 204 dps i keep rewatching the video to see what i need too i guess i'm just thick LOL the only thing i can work out is i probably have bad rolls or rolled badly myself or both and i still have yet to find decent weapons and mods
been running same thing since Barret's came out lol sitting at 480K nothing activated. been running skills since beta and love every second of it.

You could use a well crafted M4 or something that hits hard like an AK. The weapon talents are what you really want...you simply must have Talented.
Yeah, this is a nice one. However, i personally like to use skillhaste in mods and espec. for solo: seeker clusters and sticky bomb (talents i use: the one which give 20% more dmg when affecting more enemies, 20% chance for bleed and the one which gives more dmg when killing someone with an explosion + strikeback). Also using a 204 GS LVOA-C with destructive, ferocious & talented.
For grp play i switch sticky bomb for heal (defib) and also use vig chest + talents accordingly.

Also, test out the sticky bomb in challenging solo, imo it really shines there since the mobs have less hp. :D

You have really good audio and video. May I know what your using to record?
I use Shadowplay to record my video footage from the PC and it is set to 1440p x 60 fps maximum bitrate. For my vocal tracks, I record directly into Adobe Premiere and I have a Rode NT-USB mic with pop filter. Do you need any more info, or was this what you were asking about?

That used to be the case, but now any Exotic can fall from any boss or Exotic Cache.
My first run on PS4 yesterday I got the Showstopper for Larae, so it does happen!

Absolutely! With this build, you can solo Legendary if you want. I have tried it in Legendary and done just fine with it.
I have a very similar build. But I use turret damage mods, as opposed to seeker mine damage.

Probably not, as the turret seems to absolutely wreck the NPCs when it detects them and begins firing. I may try several runs to compare.

if possible, can you show how this performs in legendary missions? cuz it feels that the toughness is too low... doesn't have to be solo though
I can show you how effective it is for Legendary. The toughness needs to be taken into account and you can't simply stand out in the open and go toe to toe with the LMB. Buzz

Hi! What's the % armor damage and % damage to elites of this build?
I wasn't nearly high enough on this build as I didn't have it nearly min/max enough. I think I was at something like 23% DTE and 35% EAD.
I use a lot skill haste in my build and I have around 50k less skill power. What do you say , is it worth going all skill power? What is your skill haste percentage?
My S.H. % was right around 33% for this runthrough. The soft cap for Skill Power is 450k and I clearly was going over that, but I would recommend keeping more skill haste and a bit less skill power than you see me using.
Thanks for the video. I'm running a similar build but specced in to skill haste instead of SP on the electronic mods and dte and EAD (+non MDR). I run Lex in about 14-15 mins without using a BFB (seeker/pulse turret) and without pushing spawn points. Hudson takes just over 16 mins with the same build so not a lot of difference between Lex and Hudson, but you get better loot on Hudson. Oh by the way, demolition expert doesnt work on seekers - I reported this to UBIsoft a few days ago. imgur.com/gallery/HKiiu

u know u can just go full firearms and do lex solo in like 7 mins
Not seen any videos of 7 min runs yet but LT Buzz has done it in 8 mins with his recent AB electronic build. My full tac build seekers/turret is now at 10:45 secs.

Not that I know of. I rarely check the vendors as I loot my gear and weapons.
Honest question here. Isn't it just easier and faster to just matchmake and run Lex with whatever gear you have? I never have any trouble finding a group at least for this mission and it seems like trying to solo it takes a really long time. I have thought of doing something like this and this setup is really awesome. I just wonder what the reasoning behind soloing the mission is. Thanks in advance.
mariomdv I usually use matchmaking myself, but this video was a response to a sub who likes to run solo. Some players like to run alone.

Demichael Galloway Falcon Lost on Heroic has the highest percentage drop rate, but again it all comes down to RNG to drop the weapon

Thank you very much for the comment. The best place to farm the Warlord is the Falcon Lost Incursion as that is where it was originally set to drop from. However, it can be looted from any Exotic Cache.
