How to Grow and Care Asiatic lilies from its Bulbs.

- Asiatic lilies are one of the most beautiful flowers on earth. They come in many varieties and colors and lots of cultivar.scientific name Lilium asiatic. It has colorful and bountiful long lasting blooms.It needs sunny or partial sunny location with 6 hrs. Of sunlight.It comes in pink,orange,red,purple color.It needs rich,organic,well drained soil. It never grows in soggy soil.Lilies grow well in organic compost soil and it needs high phosphorus food or bone meal.You may also apply 5:10:10 fertilizer NPK in liquid form . You may take one teaspoonful of NPK Dissolved in 1 liter water and apply once in 15 days.

my Lilys had seeds on their leaves at the base of the stem. I am going to try to grow from them. I wished that I could identify them. it was a mix up in a pack of day lilies but they are really tall and are orange and have spots on the flowers. very awesome mix up!🌺

Is there any site or literature where I can see the different types of lily bulbs along with classifications? I had brought assorted lily bulbs from my trip to ooty. I have no idea which ones are which and when to plant them? is there a guide i tried looking online but had no luck the bulbs are not shown like u did in your video they directly show the flower pictures and also I really want to visit your garden as well seems like a very nice place......................
very good video. i bought asiatic lilly from store in 8 inch pot and blooming. I placed it in full sun in my patio. But after a week, see the flowers are wilting? should i put it in shade? the soil is moist, i watered it deeply 3 days back.
Superb, sir germination of bulbs starts not before Feb, and flowers bloom during April, but due to winter in Punjab flowers get dried and fell down in 3-4 days. Pl. guide to sprout bulbs well in time.

Some people bury the bulbs deep and some plant them partly above the soil like you did. Are both ways correct?

Yes you may or may not remove the bulbs. However, in heavy rains they may be damaged.
Sir,I bought lillium bulbs last week at lalbagh horticultural show.Can I got it directly into bigger pots instead of first putting in smaller ones n then transplanting.Is this d right month to do it?
Secondly, which is d correct month to pot it.I HV a red color one which I have put it on d land directly,it's over two years n I HV not seen any flowers till now.

Good morning sir...your videos are really informing...I have planted Asiatic lily bulbs in my garden...wen I had planted them they already were 6 inches in height and also had buds coming out...but gradually those small buds dried out n fell off....so I re potted them n fertilized them...but now they hv stopped growing..and leaves are turning yellow...please guide me in saving them

Asiatic lilies are winter plants mam...they go in dormancy in other seasons...they need temp around 20°c max.normal watering and lots of sunlight upto 12-1 pm then shade...normal fertilizing and insecticide spray.that will do.if you live in cold region your plants will stay longer than plains areas
During dormancy keep them in a cool place where they get indirect sunlight and water when the soil is dry or you can store the bulbs...for more guidance follow other youtube videos

Sir , I bought lillium bulbs from nursery , and followed all your steps but yet it's been 1 month and builds have not sprouted , I just dug the bulbs to see if it is rotting or what , it is rooting good but leaves have not come atall , one of my friends said only lillium grows in low temperature like 10-15.
I stay in southern India and average temp is around 20-25 here now . Kindly give some tips .
