I can say Adventist are the only ones who do keep all the commandments, and the most important commandment, the Sabbath. The Sabbath is the seal of God. The Bible plainly says it is!

    We are close..let's encourage one another brothers and sisters and have each others backs. We as a Christian family have to support one another. The world is in such a great divide and for those of us that are part of the church and who are about to escape can't allow the enemy of God to divide us. Please defend and support your brothers and sisters in Christ in the last days. Psalm 22 prophesies of the crucifixion. The casting of lots, the ridicule, the wounds.
    Psalm 23 prophesies of Jesus' walk through the valley of the shadow of death. As Pr Batchelor testifies, Jesus did not fear any evil, knowing His Father was with Him.
    Psalm 24 prophesies of the ascendance of Christ to heaven. "The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof" is a parallel with Matthew 28: 18; "All power in heaven and earth is given unto Me."

      @jenbr.4073 Před 3 lety

      Dear Joey-- I'm sorry we can't meet, because I'd really like to sit down and pray with you, and do some Bibly studying. *hugs* You're having a very hard time right now, and it's not easy to put some important things into a few words here.
      Perhaps the most important thing is for you to understand why it's so difficult to overcome, and what you need Jesus to do for you. In Romans 7:14-15, Paul writes, "For we know that the Law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do, I do not understand: because, what I wish to do, I do not do; but that which I hate, I do."
      In other words, Paul is talking about a sinful human being's inability to keep God's holy Law. "For I delight in the Law of God in my inward being: but I find another "law" in my body, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin, which is in my body." (Rom. 7:22-23, paraphrased) "Because the sinful, fleshly mind is the enemy of God: for it is not obedient to the Law of God, neither can it be." (Rom. 8:7)
      Our sinful human nature is instinctively at war with God. It doesn't want to obey, and it doesn't want to listen to Him. Our poor, weak desire to serve Him isn't enough. We can't help ourselves! We only know that we need help. But when we ask God to help us overcome, sometimes what we really mean is that we want Him to just give us a little extra hand while we do the heavy lifting. And that never, never works.
      Think of yourself as a heart transplant case. When you ask God to give you a new heart, He does. But, here's the problem. We think we can take care of our new hearts and keep them pure--after all, that's what a new heart is for, isn't it?
      What the Scripture really tells us, though, is that we can't do anything "righteous" that will keep our new heart alive. From the moment Jesus gives us that new heart, our old sinful body attacks it, just like the human immune system attacks a transplanted heart. This happens every day for the rest of our lives. Our new heart doesn't stand a chance without something VERY important. But what is it?
      A transplant patient needs anti-rejection drugs for the rest of his life. If he stops taking his dose, the new heart will be attacked by the old body. For a Christian, the Holy Spirit is like an anti-rejection drug. We not only need our "daily dose," but we need more every day!
      Satan attacks your time that you plan to spend with God, because he knows if he can overthrow you there, the rest will be easy! So the first thing you need to pray for is power to make time for God, and His Word. Understand, you can't fight even that battle by yourself. You can't fight any battles by yourself! You can't eat right, talk right, pray right, or do right by yourself. That old sinner is alive and kicking every day, and out to kill your new heart. You don't have power over him. But you can ask God to take charge, and give you power at each temptation and each moment. You can ask Him at every turn to put that old sinner down.
      This doesn't come naturally. Not only do we hate to ask someone else to take over, but we try to resist Him when He does. And the only solution is asking God to conquer us. Yes, you read this right. You can't surrender by yourself. You have to ask God to take over. And ask Him every moment, every hour, every day, to put sin down with the power of His Spirit.
      This is getting to be a very long note, so I'll just add: your body can be more or less vulnerable to temptation depending on how you take care of it. To reduce your vulnerability to sexual sin, work for healthy eating habits, avoiding animal products when possible. (Though you will need certain vitamin supplements if you stop using them altogether.) Make sure you don't stay up at night, or let your body get onto an irregular day/night schedule. Not sleeping at night has a dramatic effect for the worse on certain hormones and neurochemicals. Drink lots of water, but not caffeine or other stimulants. Get plenty of exercise!
      Pray for your family, but love them. Treat them with kindness, patience, and understanding. Remember that many people dislike Christians because they have known too many unloving, unmerciful churchgoers. You have an opportunity, as the Holy Spirit transforms your life, to show them (not tell, SHOW) what Jesus is really like.
      God bless you, and help you in your walk with Him!

What matters is that he would be with Jesus. We don’t have to argue about everything. But again, very likely it was to Abraham’s bosom.

The words have meaning(s). I Understand all non-Greeks struggle with New Testament translations and not only.
      We know empiricaly what is death and resurrection. NDE stories shine some light for the 'in-between' period. Jesus did not describe what happens the in-between period nor said 'I would remain in the tomb for 3 days and nights', nor that 'paradise' is the ONLY place where God the Father dwells. Jesus NEVER lies ! So what He said to Mary was ALSO correct (cling wrong word, physical touch is the real meaning of the word).
