At 72 and 73 my wife of 50 years and I have seen many many changes and have suffered some weird times..and I can say as adaptable as we are and have had to be it never comes easy ..the only constant thing in our lives has been our love for God and the joy and hope we have in Jesus. the more time we spent in prayer the better things got .and attending church to worship with our Family in Christ the greater peace we held on to.. Attending church every Sunday we could is what built our faith ..family..and hope..to that peace is a byproduct.

In my 63 and a half yrs at times I thought I wouldn't ever be able to get to this point in my life.
When I'm feeling uneasy or need to deal with change, I pray that calms me. Can't believe Audrey is going to prom, what a beautiful dress for a lovely young lady. 🥰
I turned 60 this week, which I'm not thrilled about. But my daughter - my only child is 9 months pregnant and is having a girl. We are so blessed. Audrey is beautiful. She always hides in her oversized clothes.

A group of us didn't go to prom because our boyfriends were in Viet Nam. A few friends got together wore our prom dresses with sneakers and went to Hardees (like a McDonalds). It was fun.

Our change right now is that our two oldest are graduating in three weeks…so far I just cry a lot. I love seeing the Godly adults they have become, but it’s sure hard to let them grow up!

Our most positive change has been our move from Denver to the mountains of Breckenridge Colorado. Moving to a small mountain town comes with many challenges but the benefits are so worth it! We have lived here nearly 7 years and are so at peace. It will be our forever home God willing!😊

Sometimes change can not come soon enough. Our most positive change was when we were able to move back to Alaska. PPL are baffled that we moved back from Florida to Ak to retire.

I DO remember Prom. I went to my high school prom. The Theme was Under The Sea. The colors were silver and teal. It was held in our school gym. It was so so so fun! I went with the music ministers son from our church. We went out to eat at a really fancy restaurant in Ft. Worth Tx. We rode in a really fancy antique rolls royce. It was so fun. One of my favorite memories from high school.

Most Positive Change: I went to school for 8 years (yes college for 8 YEARS) thinking I knew exactly what I wanted in life. When I couldn't pass the state exams for teaching and realized that I actually disliked being in the classroom I had to figure out what I wanted to do. Suddenly a side hobby that I happened to really enjoy actually became something that professionals were willing to teach me how to do and then soon were willing to pay me for and that is how I became a video editor. Unfortunately I'm still paying for all that school but I'm doing something I VERY MUCH enjoy... and in the process of working for myself I have also been able to form new hobbies (because I'm ADD and don't always have the easiest time staying on task) and I have also been working on making my art a bit of a side hustle. It's still a work in progress but it's MY work in progress. :D

Change-I run screaming into my closet! Haha! Flexibility is key to life and growing up in the military you have to be flexible and so I am. This week the best change is the replacement of the sliding glass patio door-so nice to see through clearly to my flower pots in the back yard and no more 1970's slats to open and close. Amazing!!! Audrey is beautiful-what a precious sole she has!

I learned a while ago that if you just expect change and know that it is coming then your not surprised when it happens. Some changes you are never ready for no matter how much you tell yourself it's coming. But, change is a part of life and life moves on whether we are ready or not. I have learned to take it one day at a time. Stay positive! Love your videos. Living is getting so big! Beautiful family!

I went to Prom 3 times, Sophomore, Junior and Senior year. My boyfriend was a year old than me...I loved every single one of them. Wishing Audrey the BEST Time!! I'm overjoyed that Garrett is still doing his jiu jitsu!! Love your kids!

Something I did for myself l lost 170 pounds my husband and I were talking about how time passes so fast now with the bed one night missing you know we have all my kids are graduated and now we have four grandkids and three are already graduated and one is 15 love you guys❤❤

I always say "life changes but my faith stays constant"... It helps keep me on the right path. My positive change was moving from city to country life. Big city Perth WA to rural island life in Tasmania. 👍
My triplets are at their senior prom tonight. Its so fun to see our teens get dressed up and out of their normal jeans and sweatshirt. Prom dress shopping is so much fun! Loved Audrey's excitement. Enjoy your prom. I hope you share some video of Audrey getting ready for prom. Big change coming next fall for my husband and I with all three graduating. Sad but happy. There is no normal anymore!! All you can do is adjust!! (76 now) Twin granddaughters graduate this year & turn 18 in the fall. All I can say, is laugh, love and give them wings so they can fly!! Their world is going to be much different than what I grew up in!!! There will be times , when you may not like what they do, but love is unconditional!!!

As far as how I cope with change, well, one of our cats escaped two weeks ago, and I leave it in God's hands since I believe everything happens due to His will; this is what comforts me and allows me to cope without becoming overwhelmed. We're still hopeful of our cat's return. 🙏
