In authentic kala bhuna, you have to put 'bagar', (extra bit of fried onions with mustard oil) just before you serve. Just pour it on top,otherwise it's not a complete dish and also it doesn't work in a pressure cooker. This is more of a shortcut way.Authentic Bangladeshi kala bhuna is done through slow cooking process.
