I imagine the idea behind Doflamingo caring for the chick could be him seeing a lot of himself in the chick's strife. A creature with the potential of pure freedom suddenly plummeting down to the earth below with no way of returning back to its lofty nest
I am sure in solitude form away his family he is thinking this
There also was a cover page with Crocodile doing something similar, shielding a small dog from the rain with an umbrella ( Chapter 860)
And then there's Blackbeard brushing his teeth alongside a hippo xd
Okay, Oda.....
I know it's you...
So deeeep
it just shows how well constructed a story is when you can have the main characters out of the story for months and still have arguably the best phase the story has ever had
After like 500 chapters.
To be fair though, its less about the main characters not being there, and more about how long we've been made to wait to see something from most these other characters.
@@jackjacques7495 Which nobody ever blames Oda for. Instead they act like the characters are real & blame it on there.
Ìha😅😊@@jackjacques7495
I love that Pell is just known as the guy who survived a nuke and not by his df.
Eh, there's a more know bird zoan, but surviving a nuke is something else
The weakness of all admirals, barring Kizaru (maybe) is that all of their abilities are highly destructive. They're the best when it comes to killing pirates, but a defense mission is way harder for them than it should be.
Which is why whoever proposed this plan is a freaking genius. If the Admirals cut loose, they'll kill a few World Nobles and then the whole Navy will collapse.
Im pretty sure Green Bull has full control of his plants
@@xiuxiu1108yeah but still a 100 meter tall tree mech going around punching shit is bound to cause unnecessary damage if not holding back
exactly. they can easily destroy a country but they have to avoid collateral damage as much as possible especially at mary joa.
Can’t have official collateral damage if everyone on the islands is an enemy.
45:32 She is holding the tontatta princess, its a scene that happened back then, the biggest and smallest princesses bonding at the reverie. It is also a unit in the OP games, it's why I remember that.
Yup it’s gotta be man-sherry i agree!
That’s what my mind immediately jumped to as well
That would make sense. but idk if that is her. If it is her, why have her in silhouette? it's not like we haven't seen her before.
@@romram7984 my answer to her being a silhouette is that no one wanted or managed to draw her at that size
I thought so, but since Tekking brought it up, now I doubt it.. In that distance there is no way we'd able to see her..
Whenever there is an interesting chapter, my first thought always is, God I can’t wait to hear Tekking talk about this chapter.
Great minds think alike!
HEE HAW
Same here.
Bro same. Cause i know he'll go into detail about something thats totally related but you might have forgotten about.
Same here every Monday as soon as spoiler poped for hype ch I become so exited to the reaction of the creators but tekking in my fav
I like the idea of the god’s knights being celestial dragons themselves, that might explain why some of the Gorosei have scars. Maybe the Gorosei were originally god’s knights and got promoted to Gorosei?
I like this idea, the Gorosei could also be still part of the God's Knights (maybe the top 5)
I love how Fujitora just casually gonna drop meteors all over Mariejois lmao and Greenbull's reaction too also Oda loves to give his fans blue balls plus I feel Cobra was completely ready to die in that meeting
He obviously knew he was going to die
If that meteor dropped and Vivi dies by it, Alabasta Kingdom would be regicided. She is the last Nefertiti heir.
@@michaelaburns734 Fujitora would have been imprisoned then killed for destroying the Holy Land
@@michaelaburns734 Pretty sure Cobra would want Koza to be the next King.
Pell will carry the meteor away and survive
Turns out it's Gildarts
The person in Shirahoshis hands could be Manshery, they got along well when they met.
I feel like Fujitora wasn't really trying to call in that meteor strike, he's not that naive. He just said that as an excuse for why he was sitting down and chilling watching the revolutionary army do their thing.
fujitora is trolling around thats part of his character........................
why would it be naïve to do so? Fujitora doesn't like the world government or Celestial Dragons; if he had a way to deal a blow to them lol
@@skelitonking117 it would be naive because he can't just get away if he harms a celestial dragon
We’re being shown what happened at the Reverie now specifically because it’s going to impact what happens next in Egghead. And I have no idea how
Kuma's arrival at Egg Head would be one. He'll probably sacrifice his life for Bonney.
@@osonhouston Kuma is currently being gunned down while trying to climb the Red Line. Doubt thats going to happen...
Not necessary. This is the final saga, so everything is tied together now, Blackbeard, Shanks, revolutionaries, luffy, the goverment, etc. Oda is just showing everything at the same time in order to culminate in the finak battle some arcs ahead, not the present arc.
Also this Sabo story gave a lot of information about the gorousei, and Saturn is going to Egghead so we needed to know something about him.
Once again, GEOGRAPHY IS EVERYTHING.
Brilliant tacticians that Dragon is, he's using the fact that Marijois is in an isolated, elevated place against them. Time to starve the tyrants!
I'd like to see the Gorosei or servants in charge of rationing food supplies try to mediate arguments between entitled Celestial Dragons. I bet that'll be fun.
My one fear is this just means they are going to try to squeeze everyone else even more for their resources. Though this can be a good thing since it might make complacent people, a lot less complacent if their the ones being affected.
@@IreneShardaForevermaybe the Dragons squeezing the innocents will cause another uprising in Marijois itself.
@@IreneShardaForever if they squeeze the common people more by raising tax, the rebellion is gonna get bigger n even less people are gonna pay their taxes, bleeding them even more, its a brilliant strategy, and in a ridiculous godsend of a coincidence, thanks to a certain clown, normal citizens isnt exactly scared to go against the marines either 😂
It’s brilliant until the Tenryuubito start eating the slaves. Why feed lowly human scum? They wouldn’t even consider it cannibalism. Plus it’s an extra hard F you to the Revolution.
The best part is, he's basically doing to them what they do to their slaves on a daily basis and it's so cathartic.
While a lot of people theorized one of the knight might be Shanks or Shanks' clone, I personally want it to be someone related to Shanks, either his brother or father.
It's heavily implied that Shanks is from the Figarland family of celestial dragon. I want this knight to be related to Figarland's blood.
Yeah, a Saint Figarland is probably the strongest of God's Knights... czcams.com/video/-pL46V_WOIA/video.html
Another interesting part is that the shanks figure was not the most prominent shadow, he was stood beside someone else, and then there was someone behind them/standing above.
I feel like even the positioning of the knights must be important
i belief in your theory, i will comment here just want to celebrate with you if your theory is right
But why would his family dress the exact same way as him, with the same looking sword
Blue-Haired Shonks
Man I really love Fujitora. He casually says its meteor time. Lmao
Its either sword play or BIG METEOR ATTACK XD
Fujitora: struggles with anything
Fujitora: "It's meteor time."
Gotta say Dragon's plan here is pretty clever, the Celestials are gonna throw a mother of a fit when they discover they are running low on food, but not just any food, we're talking about probably very high quality and probably a lot harder to prepare food as the Celestials view themselves as gods... They are not going to sit idly by and eat bread... No Their gonna want fancy bread with expensive toppings... The more good aligned Celestials will probably not complain much, but the more greedy ones? Oh boy thats gonna be a storm in itself...
and they HANG admirals. They might execute Akainu.
yeah, this is not gonna realistically starve any celestial dragons, its just a move to make them throw a fit and do something dumb. we already saw some of them throw threats against guards and admirals alike, which is method uno of getting themselves killed.
@@kugelblitzingularity304 You underestimate how far up their own asses that the Celestials have their heads they would likely refuse normal everyday food and would rather choose to starve.
I think this is a ploy to force IMU out of hiding and reveal the true colors of the WG to the world. I really doubt the "Charlos" type Celestial Dragons even know that he/she/it exists. If the "Charlos" type CDs start to be a hindered to the WG, they are probably going to receive a rude awakening. They were the biggest slaves all along, masquerading as mascots of power in IMUs place, while having 0 true power themselves.
@@kugelblitzingularity304 If you think about it, probably more then 90% of CDs are almost as expendable as the average commoner to IMU. There is no way IMU will remain in hiding if some random CDs are starting to overextend their actual authority with the actual WG, which is IMU alone.
Seeing the rest of CP9 as CP0 was pretty rad just them admiring the Revolutionary Captains chapapa
Ivankov should be the main character moving forward probably
glad we on the same page
hes ga y ew
He’s the goat
wait, he hasnt been??
Hell no
Karasu is low key very powerful, he's not scared of the Admirals
The Revolutionary Army is definitely above a Yonko crew.
even raizou was not scared of kaido
He’s for sure 1st Commander Level
@@davidortiz3094 what? hell no, maybe an equivelent
@@Orion_44 What the hell are you talking about? Do you know how stacked the WG is? Vice Admirals, Admirals, Sengoku, Garp, Kong, CP0, Fleet Admiral, Holy Knights, Seraphims, Gorosei, Imu & a ancient weapon. In no scenario does a Yonko crew beat that 😂😂 Yet Dragon knows the full force force of the WG & declared war. Meaning Dragon has the power to back it up. He's also more strategic.
1)The Holy Knights are combative Celestial Dragons. 1 of them might be from the Figaland family or w.e which is Shanks family. Shanks is a Celestial Dragon from God Valley. It would explain why he can speak with the Gorosei & why Sengoku listened to him.
2) I believe York contingency plan was to become a pirate & work with Blackbeard. Her personality fits them & she would be the science division of the BB pirates. Blackbeard would never say no to Vegapunk joining.
I mean the Holy knights have to be celestial dragons or they have to have ties with noble families. Because the Gods knights have Jurisdiction to mediate dispute. I don’t think the celestials would want “normal people” to be able to do these things.
Adding to this, knights historically were of noble blood. So it makes sense for them to be celestials.
@@johndevlin9225 Agreed. Just tired of everyone thinking ALL the Celestial Dragons are weak. Otherwise it wouldn't be difficult for the Marines to overthrow them.
Yeah, the Saint Figarland is probably the strongest of God's Knights... czcams.com/video/-pL46V_WOIA/video.html
@@davidortiz3094 For sure. Fictional geopolitics might not be everybody’s cup of tea but it’s a part of One Piece’s world building I see often ignored. If the world is at political balance (which it basically is), it only makes sense that unaligned (or *potentially* unaligned in the case you mentioned) forces are comparable in strength. The entire Marines organisation is not going to be folded by two Yonko crews, for instance. If that were a possibility, it would have already happened.
In this chapter, especially it FINALLY feels like Sabo is becoming his own character. And not just "Luffys other brother who works for the Rev Army"
This chapter? Where are you when the "flame emperor" chapter dropped?
@Wano Piece That one was great, but it was like.. moreso people talking "about" Sabo.
Hearing the way Sabo talked in this chapter felt really refreshing
Agreed
I havent been able to understand why people ever liked him so much
He was just ace with less personality until this chapter
@@Endermanet LOL he’s Ace less wild but more respectful and anger management
@@Endermanet Then you've not been paying as much attention as you thought.
He was very different from Ace from the moment he appeared, and even in Dressrosa alone he did and showed more than Ace ever did prior to Marineford.
Ace was much more hot-headed and simple minded compared to Sabo.
Sabo's way smarter, more level-headed and composed, (maybe that's why you thought he had "less personality"? idk), despite also seemingly being more savage in battle.
Like I've always said, some people have a harder time appreciating Sabo's unique traits and differences simply because they still can't get over the fact that Ace died.
Theory: The gorosei are previous god's knights. Maybe like the marines that get to higher ranks through strength and seniority, when 1 of the gorosei dies then 1 of the knights gets "promoted" to that position. Maybe they even have a fight to determine who gets that position
Luffy finding out that Dragon is preventing FOOD from ANYBODY......might be an issue
God's Knights are probably Imu's personal guards / army. Like how CP0 is gorosei is and Celestial Dragons personal force.
To supports this we have a scene where Imu is first introduced in the garden and there is a silhouetted figure kneeling and telling Imu the Gorosei is here to meet him. If Imu personally controls them, then it explains why they have been absent from the story for so long.
And they got to have some servants beside the Gorosei who don't get Lulusia'd for seeing them.
I think the Doflamingo cover page is a representation of his origins, he believes he’s a deity that has fallen from grace (angels, the celestial dragons go by god’s, but the old gods we’re basically angels) at a young age, and he most likely would have died without the help of others. Also him going by Doflamingo, so he probably felt like the baby bird was a reflection of him.
I love the idea that God's Knights are the elite fighters of the Celestial Dragons. They will be the duellists and fencers and fighting nobles that were common at tournaments and jousts etc. Very cool.
I love how we got a cliffhanger on Egghead, get hyped on Shanks, get a cliffhanger, get hyped on Garp, get a cliffhanger, get hyped on Buggy, get a cliffhanger, and now we are getting hyped on Sabo and Cobra, and we will probably get a cliffhanger.
Perfect way to end the night off! Thanks tekking!
The shadow figure who looks like Shanks is obviously Higuma who is back for revenge.
Amateurs learn tactics professionals learn logistics. And Dragon is a certified Pro.
i was waiting to hear your thoughts on the holy knights! super interesting! thank you for always putting out your reviews so quickly :)
I am just so curious as to what else Dragon knows, if he is aware of the God's Knights.
Probably the most out of every character in the series(outside of imu/gorosei) considering he’s the most wanted man and how many key moments of history he’s been a part of.
Akainu knew about the God’s knights. Seem like Kizaru knew about them too. Is just we that didn’t know.
@@bigdom3970 there's probably alot of things the admirals and fleet admiral knows that we don't. Given how closely they work with the world government they would have access to alot of information that isn't public. Interesting that dragon seems to know alot about it though.
I believe the theory that Luffy's mom or grandma was a Celestial Dragon.
I feel like all of those God's Knights are all Seraphim created by Vegapunk as his deal with WG and Celestial Dragon.
Its a different clone since its power is based On haki, not DF ability..
I can imagine Mother Caramel was planning on selling Linlin into the Gods Knights. So food for thought about how strong they could be.
That doesn’t even make any sense…
she specifucally said she wanted to sell linlin to become an admiral
@@christhefiend none at all
I think the replies are getting what you talking about in a different way than I did, you mean that they are as strong as an yonkou or they are strong enough to one shot a bear at 8 years old?
All gods knights are tenryubitoo. If you start to put other people as such high functions like god knights or gorousei then the world nobles would lose power over the goverment. She would probably be turned into a weapon of the marines, just like Kaidou was selled to the marines by his country because he was to powerful.
Whitebeard said: The wound I got from „that guy“ aches whenever I look at your face“ to Shanks, so what if the scar on WB‘s chest was caused by the god knight who looks like shanks, potentially Shanks‘ father 👀
I always assumed he meant Roger but good twist.
YES! I SAW PEOPLE TRYING TO POST SPOILERS ON TWITTER AND I DODGE THAT SHIT LIKE A MATRIX BULLET OH THANK YOU FOR COMING IN WITH THE REVIEW
love ya tekking, always look forward to your uploads. Keep it up.
Funny thing is Blueno could evacuate all of Holly Land with his DF, and kinda makes sieging Holy Land pointless, since he can always bring the food in on large scale. Might be an error from Oda to include him in CP0
Or maybe oda didn't want the CP0 members to do anything just yet which explains why he didn't have them do anything for now
Blueno's doors can't bridge distances, he still would have to cross the ocean on his own to haul the food
I think the ex CP-9ers could still turn traitor permanently, after the Ondependent Report
The God knights combined are probably at least equal to the power of an entire Yonko crew.
Even if they matched some percentage of the Yonko in strength, the answer to Tekking's question is rather obvious. You couldn't send the Knights to handle the Yonko, because they're a couple of guys that you need to defend your own lands. It's like asking why not send Admirals. You'd need to send two and even then they'd have to fight the entire crew before they could even get within spitting distance to the Emperor themselves.
They might get there, just to lose. Now you've lost some of your strongest defenders and a pissed off Yonko and crew ready for some payback if said Knight didn't outright kill enough of the crew.
I feel like all of those God's Knights are all Seraphim created by Vegapunk as his deal with WG and Celestial Dragon.
Its a different clone since its power is based On haki, not DF ability..
@@LupineShadowOmegaGod Knights is like secret service agents who its job is to protect the King..

a new one piece chapter and a tekking video on my birthday? Now this is epic!!
Whoever requested the doflamingo cover page maybe wanted to parallel how both doflamingo and the bird fell from their homes, so maybe doflamingo was conflicted because it could have brought up bad memories?
Am I looking too far Into this? Probably
I think it's because his jacket has feathers
I think there’s a good chance the gods knights are the people who can eventually become gorosei. It would make sense since our guys have weapons and scars and are clearly a different class of celestial dragon
Yes, finally, been waiting for a Tekking video all week!!!
I'm so excited to see this Cobra conversation!!!!
Loved your coverage of Return To Reverie fan chapters.

Bit of a late night upload on the east coast, thanks needed something
Love your explanation man, you're the best!
I get the impression that Doflamingo channels his inner Kars and has more empathy to an animal than any human being.
I like that theory too.

You said the Straw hats haven't been in the last 5 chapters but Vivi is a Straw hat.
I wonder if they count the Germa kingdom as "having rebelled" as they did denounce the WG and left, but for a different reason.
We gotta get a video on gow oda uses fire for every major thing involving freedom from Luffy ace and sabo having fire. Lunarians being fire and the many other examples im blanking on right now like nika and so on
It also mirrors imu sama in the cold harsh room with rhe strawhat
Did anyone else notice how Dragon looks alot like Xebec's silhouette in this chapter
Lol I was literally was waiting all day for this video notification
The Yonko (pirates in general) are boogeymen essentially. The world government exists to protect the general populace from the Yonko amongst other things. However without the Yonko, people began to question why they need the protection of the government. On top of that allowing the criminal underworld to flourish allows those at the top to have access to certain services. Slaves, organs, devil fruits, mercenaries, even child soldiers. Even Big Mom and Kaido were intended to be given to the world government.
Tekking have you considered that it was not Shanks who met with the Gorosei, but his brother? Reread the dialogue, it could just as easily apply to shanks’ brother and the panels very deliberately never show shanks’ scar
I've thought of that. Oda refused to answer if there are 2 Shankses... czcams.com/video/-pL46V_WOIA/video.html
I was also thinking this. Maybe the certain pirate he wanted to discuss was actually Shanks.
completely false. If you read the dialogue carefully, he says that shanks took a long distance to come over + The gorosei mentions that he has a high position not suitable to get involved with the politics. And the fact that he wears a black robe to dont get recognised, is just the perfect indicator that it is Shanks. No need to overcomplicate things...
@@TheHolyBuster1 not only could all of that dialogue apply to the holy knights, but in this new chapter we literally see the shanks-looking holy knight in silhouette wearing the same cloak lol. I think you need to reread the dialogue from the official translation. They talk about “why would you come all this way? This is the reverie. Given your standing you should have nothing to do with politics.” This could all easily be referring to his position as a holy knight working for Imu. We know nothing about the details of the holy knights or how Imu uses them. So no, it’s not “completely false” at all. In fact the dialogue was very intentionally crafted to be ambiguous and leave out specific details that would indicate that it’s shanks they’re talking to. They didn’t refer to him by name or even refer to him as being a pirate. They kept it vague. Oda did that for a reason.
@@criticalbasedtheory So basically, The pirate shanks can easily fool the gorosei to thinking it's his twin brother? 😂
I prefer watching or listening too your thoughts about each scene in the chapter over reading the chapter myself. These videos are fantastic. My favorite One Piece youtuber.
Didn’t expect to be this early lol. Love your videos! -Another Pennsylvanian
It makes sense that they would have God's Knights aren't being used. If they are Yonko levels of strength, they would definitely keep them as a last resort in terms of combat. They can't just send them off in any mission, especially when there's a risk of losing them. If someone questions why they didn't use them against the Yonko, they dont want to lose such very powerful individuals in battle or in a war. They are irreplaceable if it comes down to it, unlike the CPO agents.
True!
Just because they are Yonko level doesn't mean they will win the fight, it just means they can put a fight. The fact is ther eliekly is still a very good risk of losibg such a valuable asset specially on enemy turf, and it's not worth the risk
or more likely if they are CD then no one can order them.
@@sarthakarora3212 They different CD's like I should say combative cd's and the strongest of the government as a whole right under im being the strongest/ruler
@@sarthakarora3212 Shouldn't Imu be able to command them? Because what's the point of a force you can't deploy unless they feel like it?
I think something people miss about doflamingo is that. While yes he is an asshole. He is not above compassion he has literally shown it to his crew. Not his lower underlings but his high ranking members the one he would called family the ones who call him doffy. He has literally came to their aid before in battle we don't get to see it too often but the upper members of the doflamingo family seem to genuinely care about each other. Which again does mean that doflamingo is not above compassion. Besides we haven't really seen doflamingo torture animals before.
I'm currently imagining him raising it into a bird him before giving it a hito hito
No he’s not 😂
Nah, the only reason why Doflamingo "care" is because he can manipulate them. Look at his relationship with Law. He's happy that Law is a broken child, so he can find a reason to manipulate him. In the end, he never really cares about Law, whether Law's happy or not. It's not genuine.
He killed a butterfly
He's Pure Evil Villain Type though Lol he even have No problem killing them in the end and he'll just find a new family and country to rule.
Hey Tekking Yesss One Piece Chapter 1083 is finally here.

I REALLY hope we see Im in this flashback
I'd imagine God's Knights would be a force where some are on par with the First Mate's of Yonko crews (Katakuri, King, Marco, Ben Beckman) and a few are on par with Yonko
The God’s Knight silhouette looking like Shanks has gotta be Oda just trolling us
True or it actually is just shanks.....

The Gorosei and the God Knights could be something like with King Bradley in FMA. A collection young Celestial Dragons are trained from their youth and five are chosen to become the Gorosei, while the rest that remained become the Knights sering them.
And the Public Puppet Leaders to the Secret True Ruler from the Shadows Behind the Scenes just like him. Bradley to Father Homunculus. Gorosei God's Holy Knights to Imu-Sama.

I'm glad CP9 didn't just get tossed to the side, I'm a little concerned for the deal they had to make to be able to get back into the good graces of the world government but I'm glad we get more of them, it would have been interesting if some of them had fallen so far out of the good graces of the world government that they showed up as side characters in one of the kingdoms helping some of the revolution, that could have been a cool twist but overall I'm glad to see all of CB9 is back

To be fair Doflamingo has shown care for his own family. So he's not entirely an irredeemable monster. He still has some humanity. Albeit probably not too much.
Edit: Okay I think using the word "care" is a stretch for Doflamingo. When I mean his family, I mean his pirate crew. The Doflamingo family. But yeah Doflamingo's version of "care" is a very twisted version

42:19 - It just dawned on my that Aramaki's fruit could help the celestial dragons survive in the event of a siege. Since he's able to create entire forests in the blink of an eye. We saw how quickly he was able to restore Wano after it was turned into a polluted wasteland.
Imma be real with you Tekking, I didn't think Shanks was the Holy Knight either.
Until you mentioned Cobra being killed by a Holy Knight. And we now saw him sitting in the same room Shanks sat and talked to the Gorosei, possibly within the same hour.
"Only because its you, Red-hair."
Shirahoshi is most likely holding up and talking to mansherry but if its not her its sai, leo or mjosgard but mjosgard has history with otohime, i got a feeling that mjosgard is one of the holy knights/god knights based on how he was being juxtaposed in 1054 to the first mention of holy/god knights and how shanks talking to the gorosei was preceeded by mjosgard introduced in the main story in 907, i dont think those are coincidences
Yeah but wouldn't that contradict of the gods knights being the strongest people in the government under im if it's the regular CD's?
🎉🎉🎉 the reaction i needed!!!!
@Tekking101 I believe shirahoshi was talking to Tontatta tribe Princess Mansherry in that specific panel. I vaguely remember that few members of Strawhat Fleet (Mostly Leo) were at Reverie accompanying the Riku family under the excuse of it being a field trip
I hope that Sabo had been the one to try to kill Charloss by setting him on fire
Day 5:In honor of the deceased Vice Admiral T-Bone, you should do a video on what if each member of the straw hat WAS A MARINE, up to current storyline. For example, instead of Devil Chid Nico Robin hopping from Pirate Crew to Pirate crew, she runs into GARP, who does for her when Sengoku does for Corazon, hidden identity and all
I dare Tekking to make a full video about God's Knights
Tekking : im already editing it.
4:20 that devil fruit you described sounds like the exact opposite of the fruit big moms head chef has
I'm just glad Kumadori's doing well.
Also Chapapa-boy.
Hope kumadori found his mom.
@@alfredhinton8792 She's still alive, iirc.
hoping for that rematch between Kumadori and Chopper; it is going to be a fun reunion!
Oda's setting up some crazy reveals for later on, think about it. York's whole motivation for any of the stuff happening on egghead right now is because she could get to be a celestial dragon after this is all over. I can only imagine what might be elaborated on later with this new information. If those food blockades are still going on by the revolutionaries, does york know? If they get revealed that the revolution is still going on, will we see york panic because the world is starting to collapse around them? I'm interested to see how the revolutionary armies actions in the current time will impact the straw hats going forward. Very interested indeed.
"Reverie was 5 years ago"
Mannnnn, I feel like I was just reading it last year, I feel old now
I love Fujitora just casually considered blowing up the Vatican.
Rare Tekking101 miss: Tbh its not really important since its not a cover story but No offense brother but you completely missed what Oda was going for in the fan request image. The bird looks like Doflamingo as a kid (The hair is the same as when he was a kid) and its fallen from its branch aka a higher place than the ground representing Mariejoa also its implied it parents weren't around to catch it from falling just like Homing basically forced Doflamingo to fall from grace and put them in the situation they were in.
This also isn't important because you already know this since you're the OP enclyopedia but for the fans who may not pay attention to the story much but Doffy did genuinely care about kids so he wouldn't be randomly cruel to animals. Baby 5, Buffalo, Monet, Sugar and even Law, Those he called his Family he genuinely meant it and only was cruel to the ones who betrayed him like Cora-san
No. He's Pure Evil Villain Type though Lol he even have No problem killing them in the end and he'll just find a new family and country to rule. Even if it's caring it's still Twisted one. And he manipulated them all back. He's still end up as the Ultimate Mastermind Manipulator who do anything he wants. All who helped him are nothing but his Pawns too. Trebol don't made a monster. No One made. They raised a Monster. From Bad to Worse. He's already bad from that Celestial Dragons culture. Like how he care the Royal Family and People of Dressrosa right? Lol
@user-ns2ku3zz7p If you think anyone in One Piece is pure evil for the sake of being evil you haven't been watching it right. Also, Being a celestial dragon doesn't automatically make you evil. Corazon, Homing, and Mjosgard are proof of that. Look past the lense.
@@joshualewis3037 I don't say every Villain is Pure Evil. I say Doflamingo is One of those Pure Evil Examples and people still like him because he's cool Blah Blah Blah. His brother go through exact same situation But never become a worse monster as him. Don't take it as an excuse. People who have goes through worse life hardships situations like commoners aren't even becomes a monster. His tragic past Don't lessen nor removed All Atrocities Crimes Against Humanity he did to others around.
Can't you People give me a break I'm sick and Want to rest.
What Makes Him Pure Evil? - In General/Background - As a young child, Doflamingo's personality was like any World Noble's, despite the fact that the rest of his family were kind.
He declared revenge against all the citizens who tortured their family, who while unjustified in torturing the Donquixotes, all had genuine grievances against the World Nobles.
He murdered his father despite his brother's pleas and seeing his father apologize for their situation, all in order to take his head in order to return to the Holy Land.
Upon learning that Law had eaten the Op-Op Fruit, he planned to brainwash Law into giving his life to perform the Perennial Youth Operation on him.
Though he appeared to deeply care about Rosinante, even threatening to kill anyone who laid a hair on him, the moment his treachery was revealed, he killed Rosinante. While he did show some frustration over having to kill Rosinante and had been hoping his brother wasn't a traitor, it still didn't stop him from shooting him. What's more, even before he discovered Rosinante's betrayal, he was still planning on having his brother sacrifice himself by eating the Op-Op Fruit and performing the Perennial Youth Operation to grant him immortality.
He usurped the title of king of Dressrosa by manipulating King Riku to attack his own people. When he did that, he painted King Riku as a villain and usurped the title of king, ruining his family's reputation for 10 years.
He had Sugar turn hundreds of people into toys. Whoever is turned into a toy is automatically forgotten by everyone in the entire world. The person as a toy is under the control of Sugar and they cannot do anything about their condition. Doflamingo had all the toys perform slave labor for him for many years. Whenever the toy 'broke', it meant that the person who became a toy died and they are left forgotten by everyone in the world forever.
He was planning to kill Riku to silence him before he could reveal that he was manipulated by him, but Viola saved him for exchange of joining his crew. He still forced Riku to appear at the Colosseum in the hopes that someone kills him for his "crimes".
Doflamingo dealt arms to various interested parties, escalating global conflicts for sheer profit.
Doflamingo allied with Caesar Clown and Kaido to build artificial Devil Fruits, or more commonly known as SMILE, so that Kaido's army can fulfill Kaido's desires to destroy the world.
Additionally, the Devil Fruits had a 90% failure rate, and those who ate the fruits can't show any other emotions than smile. Even with the possibility that Doflamingo didn't know this, he won't care about the side-effects.
He murdered eight of Baby 5's previous boyfriends. He was going to kill Baby 5, but spared her.
While he did appear to genuinely love his mother, this love for her is never shown again, and given that he killed both his father and brother, it's very likely he'd eliminate her as well if he needed to.
He would use his String-String Fruit to force people to attack and kill the people they love and care about, and is shown to take glee in watching it. For example, he had Atmos murder some members of his crew. In another instance, he also forced King Riku to kill some of his own people.
Though he does have a tragic past of being forced on the run, his mother dying of disease, and being tortured by vengeful citizens, he goes far beyond this tragedy by killing his remaining family and has no excuse for any of his actions. Furthermore, his brother went through the exact same experiences and didn't become as evil as him, though admittedly Doflamingo was negatively influenced by Trebol, who compelled him to take revenge against his father and constantly fed his ego.
@@joshualewis3037 Sea of Survival: Super Rookie Saga - He controlled a vice admiral into fighting the marines.
He corrupted Bellamy into disbelieving in dreams and focusing on stealing treasure and antagonizing others.
He used the String-String Fruit to have Bellamy and Sarquiss attack each other for their defeat at the hands of Luffy in spite of Bellamy's pleas for forgiveness.
He ran a slave-auction where people of different species including humans (such as Boa Hancock) would be sold off to the Celestial Dragons to be their slaves until he lost all of his interests and abandoned Disco when refusing to help his employer against Monkey D. Luffy (who came to save Camie from being sold to the Celestial Dragons as far the Straw Hat Captain punched the Celestial Dragon disregarding his own personal safety) as well declaring to Disco to never call him again, leaving the Human Auction House to be out of business.
Doflamingo cuts Little Oars Jr.'s leg off and laughing from the amusement of making him suffer.
Witnessing Whitebeard's earthquake, Doflamingo sadistically laughed at the destruction and calling Whitebeard a "crazy old geezer".
He and the Pacifistas received an order by someone higher than Sengoku to terminate Gecko Moriah when he is too weak to remain as a Warlord.
The Final Sea: The New World Saga - During the events of the Punk Hazard Arc, it was revealed that Doflamingo was the man behind Caesar and was behind the gruesome operations that took place on the island under the supervision of Caesar, Vergo, and Monet. He allowed and incentivized Caesar's experimentation on innocent children and other individuals. Doflamingo also allowed Vergo to procure the children through the kidnappings. He also provided protection and resources to Caesar to allow him to torment and experiment on children and others.
Taunted Luffy with the Mera Mera no Mi fruit of his deceased brother Portgas D. Ace, this being a trap to kill him.
He runs the Corrida Colosseum where he forces the competitors to live in squalor conditions. When he is in charge of running the Colosseum matches as the new king of the country, he forces the competitors to fight to the death for his own amusement. Out of anger, he is seen attempting to drown a man for not killing anyone.
When he reunites with Law in Dressrosa, he was extremely hostile to him. When Law provokes him by mentioning the D clan, he brutally assaults Law and nearly kills him with lead bullets in front of the Dressrosa civilians. During his last battle with Law, he hacks off one of Law's arms, which caused him to scream in anguish, much to his delight.
Despite Bellamy showing his loyalty to him, Doflamingo commissioned Dellinger to assassinate him for no longer being of use to him. When Bellamy confronts him about the attempted murder, he mocks him, tortures him, and forces him into nearly killing his new friend, Luffy.
During his fight with Law and Luffy, when he talks about his brother and father, he rants about how much he detests them for inconveniencing him. He even tells Law that his brother was an eyesore and he was glad to be rid of him, proving that he discarded any love he once had for Corazon.
He attempted to use the Birdcage to kill everyone in Dressrosa, which would have been thousands of people, as well as taking sadistic pleasure in describing how they would die. Although his attempt failed, he was responsible for many deaths and the destruction of the entire country. He did this as a reaction to when people found out the truth about his illicit operation on the island.
He kills several gladiators as they tried to save an exhausted Luffy from him.
He created a rigged bounty game for people to kill/capture those he despised the most. Each stars contain 100 million berries: 1 star for Rebecca, Viola, Nico Robin, Kin'emon and Franky, 2 stars for Roronoa Zoro and Kyros, 3 stars for Monkey D, Luffy, Sabo, Trafalgar D. Water Law and King Riku, and 5 stars for Usopp.
Attempts to control Rebecca into murdering her aunt Viola, despite him having no real reason to do so at that point.
While he seemed to care about his comrades, even considering them to be his "family", he was perfectly willing to sacrifice them if it meant accomplishing his goals or destroying his enemies. This was shown when he willingly sacrificed Vergo and Monet to destroy the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies on Punk Hazard (along with innocent children) and showed disregard when all his defeated allies in Dressrosa would be killed by his Birdcage, even claiming to Law he will just find a new family somewhere else.
He and Crocodile are the main reason for the abolishment of the Seven Warlords when the monarchs agreed to Admiral Fujitora's proposal due to Doflamingo and Crocodile inflicted pain towards both Kings Riku and Cobra and the amount of destruction they both brought upon both kingdoms (Dressrosa and Arabasta).
@@joshualewis3037 In the SBS of Volume 83, a reader asks the author, Eiichiro Oda, why Doflamingo refers to Viola as "Violet" and Viola refers to Doflamingo as "Doffy". The author states that this is a secret and an adult part of the story that cannot be a part of the story. He also states that Dressrosa is a passionate country. Since Doflamingo took control of the monarchy of Dressrosa where Violet was a part of the royal family and that Violet has always hated him for the suffering he caused and only joined his pirate crew for her father's and her own safety, it is shown that the relationship was not genuine and implied that the relationship was not consensual.
He killed eight men who were attracted to Baby 5 and would destroy the towns where they came from. The killings infuriate Baby 5 to the extent that she wanted to murder Doflamingo. According to Buffalo, Doflamingo's reason for the murders were that he sees her as a younger sister and that he cared for her and wanted to protect her since she did not have the will to refuse any of the men. Buffalo also states that Doflamingo slaughtering the eight towns was his way of showing his care for Baby 5. However, Doflamingo's killings would also deprive Baby 5 of her happiness and her sense of being needed by another person as a human being leading her to continue to act out of her insecurities without providing any alleviations for them. This is later shown when during the uprisings of Dressrosa, Baby 5 betrays Doflamingo to join Sai since she wanted to be around someone who cared for her. And that by joining him, she was able to attain her happiness and not feel insecure any longer. Plus, during the Dressrosa uprising, Doflamingo did not mind having Baby 5 killed along with everyone in the country as he also viewed her as a pawn meant to maintain his ego.
Great chapter, I wonder who that silhouette is and cant wait to see who it is. I hope Doflamingo gets to be in the story again because I'm sure he will spill everything he knows as soon he gets out.
9:40 "It's kinda up in the air how high it is"
THE ACCIDENTAL PUN
thank you for choosing ivankov as the thumbnail instead of some spoiler sht with the gods knights!
There is a way to invade holy land ..
Nami is the key to it ..
Remember she is trained on a sky island which can move and be controlled..
Yes another epic entry like marineford is loading 🔥🔥
Wish we got to see a few holy knights sooner. Sure they are mentioned a few times and implied but i doubt they are admiral level as a whole group that strong would have ended the revolutionary army in two taps
I feel they will be more fruit users or slaves so broken they were turned radical like green bull snd believe its best to serve.
Hopefully they sre different races to show the celestial dragons really see themselves on top
I love how fujitora was like FUCK THIS SHIT METEOR TIME
I believe that Shirahoshi is talking to Mansherry of the Tontatta tribe because of their meeting in the mingling plaza. They seemed to really hit it off and I'm sure you've seen the artwork of them paired together from the One Piece Treasure Cruise database that you sometimes take pictures from.
