- This video is a little late, but I finally got around to finishing Zombiu. The game is very rough around the edges, but I liked it a lot. It's definitely one of the best zombie games out there, so check it out if you ever get the chance.
This last section of the game is an all out gauntlet, forcing you to run to the top of the tower of London for a helicopter evacuation. There are more zombies here than in any other point of the game. All you can really do is run.
From what I know, there are three endings to the game.
1. Escape on the helicopter with the cure (shown in this video)
2. Escape on the helicopter without the cure
3. Die trying to get to the helicopter
So Preper was simply using survivors to get him some supplies and by the time he saw he just lost the best supply gatherer he was all bitching around ?

I thought the implication was that this proved the cure worked. A bite from an infected is supposed to cause a near instantaneous turning. The fact that the player character has wounds and has had no change means he's now immune (and by extension the cure works).

easy eevee No, because when you get bitten in Zombi, you die and turn into a infected, and then take control of another survivor.
Really wish this game had gotten that sequel...apparently it didn't do well enough to warrant the sequel that had just begun development.
I had to block this game's internet access through the windows firewall just to make it work lol.
For a sequel, you first need a functional first game.
Although despite everything, I had fun playing this.

I read the comments and I just wanna make one thing clear. Your character escapes with a vaccine, not a cure. Also I beat the last part fairly easily and I never had to deal with an extensive zombie horde at the escape zone. Either I was well prepped or just lucky.

Well that only works because of how long rabies incubation period is. If the virus in ZombiU is at all as fast as any other zombie virus, you’re probably screwed with or without a vaccine
the only thing that pisses me off is doing all that hard work so your just waiting for the helicopter that takes like forever. And while your waiting, you get killed and realize you did all that work since day 1 just for you not to get that ending where you see your survivor escapiing this is late

Explaining ZombiU: The British Army is the most prevalent branch of the Armed Forces seen in ZombiU. Prior to the start of the game, Army personnel were tasked with securing key locations throughout the city, including Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Infected members can be found roaming throughout Buckingham Palace.
There are several specialized groups within the Army, notably the Queen's Guard and Omega Group. The Queen's Guard was responsible for securing the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and St. James Palace. Infected members of the Guard are notably found at these locations.
The Omega Group was a top secret organization within the Army, recruiting from British Special Forces and Special Air Service personnel. They acted as the elite body guard for the Queen, as well as the Royal Family. Their uniform consisted of a darker version of the standard Army fatigues, as well as an optional red beret. Several infected Omega Group soldiers can be found in the bunker beneath Buckingham Palace.
There are also many surviving members of the British Army who the player can play in the game, these military survivors are relatively rare spawns compared to civilian and even police survivors.
Air Force
The British Royal Air Force is the main air arm of the British Armed Forces. Their only appearance is at the end of the game, when R.A.F pilots are tasked with firebombing London in an attempt to wipe out and contain the infection.The British Armed Forces are the combined Army, Air Force, and Navy of the United Kingdom, responsible for defending both the home islands, and the British overseas territories. Prior to the start of the game, the British Armed Forces were tasked with containing the infection in London, as well as protecting important locations and VIPs. -ZombiU

I reached the helicopter, the ending refused to trigger and I died.
Got the worst ending and it really ruined the entire game for me.
I can see that I didn't miss much, but it still feels like a kick in the groin.
Doctor Dex I was on my way down in the lift and mine crashed and then wouldn’t let me proceed further through the story I was so pissed off!

@@reno82 Sorry to hear that the pilot must have some sort of beef with us. Aside from a lazy chopper pilot it is an excellent survival-horror game that managed to make even a few zombies quite threatening. No small feat

I'm sorry! Don't blame me! The game purposefully has very clunky aiming in order to make it harder to hit zombies when under stress. It did get pretty sad by the end though

I finished the game ADSing right in their face with the sniper carbine. With the spread lowered with the carbines the headshot accuracy up close is fantastic.Then I pulled out the Magnum for the last ones, didn't use it the whole game until the last 2 zombies.

I'm really not sure why people are commenting that this isn't the full ending. This is the full ending, including the scene before the credits, and the final challenge. I cut out the credits when editing this video as they were long and boring as Ubisoft game credits usually are. The credits would have been just after the Prepper scene, but before the player gets control again for the final challenge. This is the full ending.
There are other endings. I assume that they don't think this is the full ending as they think the other (or others) are full. All I know is that if you die there, you get an ending where the Panacea is lost.

Why in the world would you use the carbine?! Thats pure masochism. There are loads of good weapons in the game; even the goddamn handgun is better than the carbine. You like the hard life.

+Employee 427 Use the sniper rifle. It is more powerful and has better range. Also uses the carbine ammo.

carbine is great if the user is accurate, which on a ps4 is quite easy.

Honestly. I've never loved a game this much...zombi/zombiU gave me that horror heart racing experience outlast gave me. Truly underrated game.

just finished this on pc after 15 hours..love the game..it has its flaws but the atmosphere is great in this game. glad i was able to play this afterall without a wiiu
I also think that the game has its good sides. I can't understand why everyboys is complaining about it. I didn't like the ending either but the atmosphere is very catching and the storyline was decent, too.

You get to the top, get the "Reach Helicopter" mission completed and then are expected to wait there for 30 seconds? I got there, got the notification, was confused, had like 20 zombies chasing me around a 30 foot wide area, so I left after like 20 seconds and got killed somewhere else in the Tower.
What the hell is that! Go to the helicopter, that can't pick you up anywhere else for some reason even though it's following you. Assume they want to meet at the highest tower. Go there, get mission completed, and then wait there unprompted for 30 seconds. What kind of game design is that?
I feel the same way. Ran around the top for like 5 or 6 lunges of the zombies and thought maybe I have to be somewhere else. Feel deflated.

I just fucking died in this final scene in the most infuriating way and I'm not counting my death, this is the ending I got. I show exploding barrels in water and didn't think the fire would burn in the water and jumped right down into the water and died. After all of that, it lead to nothing. I am beyond pissed.

Not sure why im on a zombiu watching spree. But i want to shine light into this a bit even tho your comment was posted long ago.
Theres a couple of reasons why lots of youtubers didnt play it, for once the console (wii u) was surprisingly underwhelming and a lot of people just ended up skipping it all together. On top of that at the time nintendo was being real bitchy about youtube content. For you to upload nintendo content you needed to join their embassador program and give a cut of ur revenue to nintendo. So you can see why a lot of channels stopped doing nintendo content at the time
The 2015 release was shitty, I enjoyed this game, but it was simply broken.
You have a quite limited bag, limited vault, you can't save your cricket bat or pistol, despite you get better ones.
The game crashes a lot in certain places, which means you may lose a lot of progress if you didn't save, happened to me like 4 times.
Devs never tried to polish this game, if you compare this game to Dying Light, which also released in 2015, this game is like a 2010 demo.

I ran through Normal Mode too on the Standard difficulty, but what I did is: I saved a lot of ammo for assault rifles and then used the AK-47 and the Desert Eagle to kill the zombies on the final escape sequence. I had a carbine too, but didn't use it as the AK-47 and Desert Eagle are by far stronger in total (I had the AK-47 fully upgraded). At the end, I still had ammo for both weapons.
Still, very nice gameplay. I would have never thought of using the Model 4 Carbine (which is obviously worse than the 770). ;)
Also, you couldn't believe how glad I was that I cleared the game on Standard difficulty, which was my VERY first run of this game in total :)

jack colin The Prepper is just using survivors to get him more food and supplies so that he can continue to live on. after he ditches a survivor he finds a new one and starts it again
jack colin He is actually cpt. MacMillan, ex SAS. You can see his voice and one of his legs which is artificial. This is because he lost it during an assassination mission in Chernobyl. He leaked some information to cpt.Price in MW3 so he was kicked out from MI5. Since then, no one cares him. That's why he needed to survive alone like this in London.

Thia is the best ending, because you scape from London with the panacea, and Sondra, the person in the chopper isn't infected because you can clearly see how the chopper leaves London and she didnt have black veins because i watch the video in a very slow speed and she's clean.

Maybe in five years when enough time has passed for me to forgive this game, I'll try getting this ending again. But right now, I'm content to watch.

I’ve played the game for 10 years and always made it the entire game without dying once with the first survivor.
For some reason in my country this game is called "zombie" withouth that 'u' no idea why. Too bad we didn't see the whole city in flames, just planes flying and heli escaping. As for the story... the whole alchemist from the middle ages who predicted all that... that's silly.

It was called ZombiU when it was released for the Wii U. Since they have ported it to other systems like Xbox One and PlayStation 4, they've dropped the U and just called it Zombi, without a U or an e on the end.

The prepped only cares about himself, as he has tons of recourses in his base that he doesn’t let you get. For example you have to go through one of the hardest missions in the game ( the nursery) to get petrol to power the generator, however you can see that he has tons in his den where he survives.

Yeah, I did find it underwhelming. Also the pier/tour level design is TERRIBLE, I died because I met one of the many dead ends that make it unclear where to go.
+Employee 427 Well, there isn't a lot of room to really have an ending, or characters to be in contact with, because if you die, that next character wouldn't have the information your last one did. This game isn't supposed to be narritively driven.

one thing i utterly hated about this game.
Lack of melee weapon diversity, cricket bat gets lame.
Lack of character diversity.
I feel like every character you get should specialize in something, but then as you last longer, kill more, other things should raise. I.E Defense, stamina, health, regen attack power, aiming etc.
The game turned me off, everything at first was great, I got to the end and stocked up as many of my weps as I could one simple death, and I lost everything with no way to recover. I was furious too, all weps were upgraded, and just like that all of it was gone, the death was pretty stupid too. 2 armored zombies with 1 on fire zig zagging and the 2 armored ones hit me on the sides at same time with no detection on map, and it happened in less than 2 seconds before i could rewatch what happened. After that i lost interest but still finished it.
I can also see while the sequel was cancelled.

Another thing I thought they should've done waste take a page from Demon's Souls, no pause screen. So your pack would be open all the time that would add to the tension.

Thanks! Had a few close calls though, a mine must have exploded an inch from me (No damage, but i heard it's instant death if it hits you) and almost hit an exploder with my Cricket Bat

Think of it this way. The survivors are found by the Prepper. The Prepper is not going to send another survivor to get your stuff and leave (since he wants the survivors to send for supplies, and he is less than happy with you). Also, the helicopter needs fuel and the firebombing is going to start.

I love this game has a successful vaccine 💉 for the undead virus, it’s not a total for but it gives humanity a fighting chance against the zombies.
