The realization hit me after watching new videos by Method Man, Redman, WC & B-Legit, Snoop, Daz, and Kurupt, that the hip-hop artists and producers I grew up listening to are still around and "alive" to make music and live without looking over their shoulders. Every other week or month one of these new young hip-hop artists are getting gunned down or dying from drug overdoses and it's sad. At the end of the day this young brotha still had a family, friends, and fans who loved him. Something needs to change with the current state of hip-hop for artists under 30... they're dying way before their time because of "opp" talk, addiction, using social media for the wrong intentions, the circle of so called friends they keep who are jealous, and because some of 'em wanna be 10 toes in the f***ery.
