Starting in the morning light is pain in the ass. The storyline is great, but is looong as hell. My favorite option is Mountain of the eternal winter
Yes, the story is great in that region! I'm not trying to talk it down! But for a new-character start, I don't think it's a great choice either.

If one has a high level character that is say used for grinding, then couldn't they be used to tag that new character, go out and grind (because you do that anyway) and then have the new character "get EXP"? I tried this once when the Scholar came out and got her to 61 quickly.
Sure, that's not for everyone, especially a newer player, but having done the storyline 2 dozen times on all the alts, it could make sense.
Yes the tag function works fine for more geared players too!
4:11 I used to reform my abyss weapon every season but tbh I find just using 5 asula accessory carries me fine to 50. Ill grab naru filler from fugar / black spirit quests and then after 50 the challenges usually give you enough stones to get tuvala pri via naru pens. The 5 pc asula accuracy I think is super good for that starting phase.
I have all the quest gear and I honestly don't even bother pulling it out because 5 asula can carry you to tuvala.
Asula suff works great too!
It is actually more hassle to have a horse stabled at the starting location of the major quests as you get a lot of movement speed boosts for running as part of the quests
So it is better to put the horse at the final city of the major questline
I did the new story , I think they did really well with Calpheon. I was happy with how they reworked Calpheon. I won’t say to much on it but the changes to the Belmore fight was impressive. What they added to it was a really nice addition both lore & entertainment. Though they did take a few LOML approaches to boss fights.

The Magnus is also a great thing to have for new classes, along with a ton of maids and a tent. I now just get stuff from maids straight at the spawn location in season and then jump into the Magnus to power level.
I then return to start the Eden quest at about level 61, do the awakening, get to PEN and complete the Pass. Takes almost exactly 6 hours of gameplay, can be faster if you stop at level 60.
Yes maids and butlers with the shared storage is awesome!

I haven't played in a few months. But I've got some good pen boss gear on my main. Is it better for me to just copy my gear? Instead of making a season characted?
Season characters get a lot of awesome free rewards from the seals, so it's up to you. The tag function works just as well.
The Asula acc are also good to start with until Tuvala is ramped up. It gives some bonus for a full set too.
butt for beginners its not easy to get asula set ... so tuvala is the way to go
@@yb1465 - for pure beginners, then the useless naru IS replaced with tuvala. But those who have the items he listed, they probably did mediah and have asula. Which works for season starting.
Are season rewards worth it that much? I think starting normal server is worth it more right?
If you haven't claimed all the rewards from the exchanges, such as the T10 horse upgrade materials, 1000 cron stones, etc, there are a lot of great things you can pick up on a season character!

I actually have been doing nearly exactly what you've said for a while for my seasonals. Without one thing... The XP strat... I am not fan of full on going for XP... I think that if you go with actually crystals you consider using in some sort of "mid term" foreseeable future (because end game crysts are expensive and also dangerous, because of cost, even with the crystal return mechanic) and also go with Lightstone word for PvE combat power/performance... Out of the "Convenience" you will be getting out of those it will come out nearly the same as the full on XP strat... but more convenient. Could also be entirely wrong thou. I mean if you actually make it to the % Xp increase Evil mentioned, could be so overwhelmingly faster in comparison to mid grade PvE combat stuffs that`s not even funny. However as one more thing in favor of the full XP strat is "Consider the fact you have limited crystal bag slots". I mean for sure you want like 2 Kydiches.. .they are also HP crysts and HP regen (me thinks)... but don`t skip your actual stats like Crit/Att(cast) speed/Movement speed/Throw in some accuracy... Get like mid grade set crystals for all of their goodies... Will make your toon a lot more pleasant during grind in comparison to "stuff all the Kydiches you can"... and because you won`t be getting as much % XP... you should not go for that of your Lightstone word either... even thou actually "the best" beginner word according to me, by far does include XP bonus... it is "Wonderful Journey"... If you are in any doubt what to do as a new player in terms of Lightstone word... don`t think twice... Get whatever arties you can/want (think will improve some of the strengths of your class of choice... or Dosa for most) and straight up slam Wonderful Journey in them...
Really like the crystal setup for exp, but I can't justify sacrificing that many slots of my crystal inventory just for exp 😅

I haven't touched the game since Scholar released, how do I make the character on season if I never graduated my old char, should I just delete it.
You can just make a new one
I had the same situation, I transferred all my gear from my scholar and then deleted it to continue the season with the new character

it is boring and creepy game. I don't like it anymore, I spent alot of time playing alone and repeating daily farming for no sense. There was nothing to do in this game except farming and farming for what i don;'t know :) ... Infinite Potions needs months to farm and very boring process killing monsters for hours for 1 or 2 pieces and for 1 infinite potion, the big problem is you have to setup your FAIRY to have the right skill to use Infinite potion for them hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so stupid process and non sense

@RastafaryxX he has a point tho, the game has a lot of strange ways of eating up your time. It's a difficult game to recommend to anyone, from veteran mmo enthusiasts to ppl who've never played an mmo before, the game feels redundant by overcomplicating what's otherwise considered as simple features in other games. BDO is packed with a lot of that sort of "fluff" content that's arbitrarily time consuming and would make any sane person question why they're meant to be spending months farming for an "infinite potion"
