Hi...long time ..since I commented on one of your videos..but once again you probably save me a bunch of trouble while working on my vintage..I got a 1969 Drifter..it was bought 50 miles away from my hometown of bakersfield calif.but reading the info on it..it was made in my hometown in 1969..lol..I wanted a older model for my Ford F 350 Super Camper Speacil
.it was perfect fir my camper.which I got first..it took 2 years of looking for the right truck for my camper..cause they were made especially to haul their own factory made campers..but you save my tuss by proving me info on a backup for my stands..I don't like permanently attach stands on my camper..but thanks again for that valuables info on the ones you folks have..

I had this problem loading the one we bought yesterday on to the truck. My truck was to tall and wide. This should to the truck l trick nicely tho. I wish I would have seen this video before now. I think I'm going to use a 4x6 tho.

I had the same problem. I took the base of a RV slide out stand and slid it on my jacks. I adjusted them to give 8 inches of extra lift. You can easily set it for more or less. Now my jacks are less wobbly since I don't have to extend them completely. It was the perfect solution. I also added a 4th jack. Now with a drill I can easily and quickly load and unload my camper by myself.

I also need that 4th jack. New, 1 is $350. Been looking for a used one.

Yeah....they're pricey. Good luck in your hunt....keep your eyes peeled for old truck campers sitting derelict in a grown-up field....might be able to talk someone into selling you one off of something like that. We got our entire camper with the 3 jacks for $350. Granted the camper was gutted and very near collapsing in on itself...but we were able to practically rebuild it from the inside out and it's one of the best purchases we ever made. Thanks for watching.

@@SandraBegotka update. I picked 2 Jack's today for $100. Came with 2 braces and handles. Best part is both Jack's have a 2,000 lbs load capacity.

I found not only a 4th jack, but a 5th jack. I got both of them for $100. Both jacks have a 2,000 lb. Weight capacity. I also had the issues with the height of my truck, and the width of the tires running over the jacks claw feet.
To fix my problem, I bought 4 drop down jack extentions. Now I have a height adjustment of an extra 2 inches to 1 foot of height. The extensions have a round footing instead of the claw feet. Now my tires clear the jacks.
I have a drill for each jack, now raising and lowering the camper is 😅😅quick and easy, especially with 2 people.
Just thought I would share in case someone else is currently having these problems. 😅
