My platinum floor is double salto and front hand spring front pike. My leap is a switch leap tuck jump, and my my turn is a 1 1/2!

No you don’t need a switch leap bc everyone on my xcel platinum team has a regular leap with a sison or a tuck jump

You don’t need it, you just have to have a “B” skill in your routine (switch leap is most common to fill the requirement)
