KOCHI TO DHANUSHKODI SOLO RIDE | മരണം മുന്നിൽ കണ്ട നിമിഷം| Part 1

This is a dream come true for me, as I don't have a motorcycle or any other vehicle. A solo ride to Dhanushkodi is one of my dreams, and that was fulfilled on August 28, 2023. I am so happy to share with our own CZcams family. please let me know your reactions on the comments section.

Additional information about Dhanushkodi:
Dhanushkodi is an abandoned town at the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island of the state of Tamil Nadu in India. It is south-east of Pamban and is about 24 kilometres west of Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. The town was destroyed during the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath.
Dhanushkodi is famous for:
The town of Dhanushkodi is believed to be the place where Lord Rama had ordered Lord Hanumana to build a bridge which could carry his army across to Sri Lanka, where Demon King Ravana had kept Sita captive. As ordered, Lord Hanuman had obliged and it was here that the Ram Setu was built by the Vanara Sena.
Dhanushkodi is called Ghost City?
On that fatal night the train 'Pamban - Dhanushkodi passenger was engulfed by huge waves while reaching Dhanushkodi with 115 passengers and 5 railway employees. After this incident, the government declared the place as the Ghost Town. People in mainland India got to know about the disaster after a few days.

*While travelling by road, getting to Dhanushkodi is quite simple. Regular buses are available from Rameshwaram and other major areas. Rameshwaram has an extensive bus network, so even if no direct bus is available, you can always come to Rameshwaram and hop onto a Dhanushkodi bound bus.
