Excellent point about the agents not communicating. They can't keep having the same spots in every match. It lessens the importance every time something is duplicated on the same show. As far as Mercedes, she acts like a heel; cocky and better than everyone, and then seeks crowd approval. MJF can pull that off and get cheered because he is witty and makes the crowd laugh. Mercedes's character makes no sense, especially when you have an EVP angle...then someone calling herself CEO for no apparent reason.
They don't even communicate about the ring gear. Too many times both people are wearing the same color scheme and it's often black gear. Just looks so amateur

I was there. It was still a fun match. The crowd loved every minute of it. I don't know how it looked on TV but to be there live in the arena was awesome.

The problem with AEW is their ppv's are waaaay too long. They want to put as much talent on the ppv as they can when you roster is so heavy and every match has to be at least 20 minutes each so everyone can get their shit in.

I was so happy for Gangrel. i have seen many interviews with him over the years, and he really seems to be one of the nicest and most humble people in the business. i am so happy that he got one last moment in the spotlight. He deserves it. I was also glad to see him moving around well. Last time I saw him he definitely seemed to be having some problems with his hip. He looked good.

The Christian Cage vs Swerve match was by far the match of the night. Christian Cage is an insanely good heel and he made Swerve look great.
It's quite evident that Tony Khan was a huge ECW fan, every match has to be like an ECW match, difference is ECW also had some great storylines to go with the hardcore matches.

There was no way Swerve was ever losing to Christian lol. Also Mercedes was definitely working like a heel and leaning into that. She's aware she's not a babyface. The crowd was very divided though, Conrad made it seem like they were all behind Willow, they were really split 50/50. It was a good match imo.
Christian has always been so good and so mature. Even back in 2001 he was one of the very best on the WWF roster both in the ring and on the mic. He's more free out of WWE with the promos which allows him to be more creative and show more of what he has. I hope Christian Cage gets a run on top in AEW. Once of the most underrated wrestler ever and always one of the very best. He deserves one final huge moment at the very top and I hope AEW gives that to him.
every match has to have the chop spot, the hockey fight in the middle of the ring spot , an apron spot , eric is right with all of the matches feeling similar. even osprey doesn’t feel special now cause everyone else does what he can do. he just does it slightly smoother i guess ?
