As a black woman and former Democrat, watching this gave me life! Seeing him interact with the people was comforting. It didn't at all come off as disingenuous. He's confident and comfortable, and although he's about the same age as Biden, he's sharp as a tack and strong. I appreciate him so much more. I so deeply regret voting for Biden, but it was due to a lack of knowledge. I now see how evil and divisive the Democratic party is, and I can no longer take it. When you are trying so hard to force inclusion to the point of the exclusion of many, including the majority, it causes nothing but hate and destruction. I have seen the light and refuse to go back there again.
