Watching/listening to this classic video is a bittersweet experience for me. Firstly, it leaves me with an intense feeling of longing for the 1980s, a time that had plenty bad stuff going on but which provided us with the best popular music there has ever been. Secondly, there is the untimely death of the beautiful guy fronting the song, Jimmy McShane, taken from us in the days when catching HIV was more or less a death sentence. Rest in peace, Jungle Boy.
